Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as "Chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story （I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan）。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think （perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely）--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

Hardcore Potter fans will enjoy this. Anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.

Water is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you

will die. We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different

things. We use it to cook, make electricity, put out fires and so on. We use

millions of liters of water every day.

Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water

pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water

travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the

water pipes to the river and to the special factories (we call water plants)

I like to make friends a lot, because I like to share opinions with them.

But I find it is hard to find an ideal friend. Most people just like to hang out

with you. If you want to share profound information, they will stay quiet. I am

so eager to find an ideal friend. Firstly, he can share the same interest with

me. I like to read books and watch movies. I always want someone who can discuss

about the detail, which will be so amazing. Secondly, he must be considerate.

Sometimes I will forget about the time and place because I have something urgent

to do, if he is considerate, our friendship can last forever.

在一个早晨，一个伐木工人和往常一样去森林里砍树。工人用锯子砍倒了一棵很大的松树，树干因为弹力反射回来，压在了工人的腿上。工人企图将腿拔出来，但每一次的努力都以失败告终。于是，工人又用斧子去砍树干，斧柄断了，这个伐木工人又用电锯锯树干，他发现：树干倒下呈四十五度角。如果连他的锯子都坏了，那他就要死在这一片很偏僻且人迹罕至的森林里了。于是，他狠下了心，拿起锯子，对准自己被树干压住的腿，忍着常人难以忍受的巨痛，强行截断了自己的腿。工人简单的包扎了一下便爬着回去。他一寸一寸的挪动，一次又一次的昏倒，也一次又一次的醒来，接着又一寸一寸的爬着……这个伐木工人求生的欲望令我极为震惊。我没有想到人在危机的时刻，竟可以做出如此的决断，我更被这个伐木工人顽强的生命力折服，更敬佩他在死神正面交锋时能够冷静，精神上没有被打垮。

我们一定要保护好自己的生命，在面对死神时沉着冷静，不能手忙脚乱。只有保护好自己的生命，才能使自己的那朵生命之花绽放在世界上，绽放在自己的心田。

而让它绽放的关键是每天努力着，每天进步着。每天都把微笑挂在嘴角;把自信留在脸上;把用心刻在心上;把努力写在行动中。每天都做最好的自己!

这个礼拜四，学校组织初一在操场上看电影，这个电影的名字叫《背着爸爸上学》，其实一听名字就知道是一部感人片，记得当时，有许多同学都在抱怨说，这个片子太老了，不好看什么之类的，我暗暗发笑，心里说道，学校给学生看电影肯定放的是对学生有启发，有益的，怎么可能会跟随学生的思路走呢。说值得，看完之隔电影之后，我真的被感动了，也受到了许多启发。

我记得有人说过，感动只是在一瞬间，但真情却永远存生。用这句话来形容这场电影实在是再好不过了，反复这句话就是为这场电影而量身制作的。这场电影不短也不长，看了一个多小时吧，它主要讲了一个小男孩和他的姐姐父亲之间的事，小男孩的母亲去世的很早，只剩下她和姐姐，父亲相依为命，父亲用转勺的方法决定他和姐姐谁去上学，谁辍学ue，最后小男孩上学，姐姐则照顾这个家。刚开始，小男孩因为亲眼目睹自己的同学被河水淹死的情景害怕所以逃学，被父亲知道后教训了他一顿。从此，小男孩便开始努力学习，一直到高中，并且在一次奥林匹克化学竞赛中获得了陕西省的一名，就在此不久，他的姐姐出嫁了，他得知后，非常难过，于是，他便开始照顾自己的父亲。

终于，他考上了大学，可父亲生病了，于是他决定不去上大学在家照顾自己的父亲，父亲知道后，非常生气，便在一天晚上投井自尽了，幸好男孩及时发现，要不然父亲就死了，最终，男孩答应父亲自己去上大学，但为了要照顾父亲所以背着父亲一起去了大学。在看完这场电影后，我才明白原来父母对我们寄存的希望是非常大的，可我么却不懂得珍惜，有时还和父母乱发脾气，通过这场电影，可以知道一个人只有在艰难中走出来才能得到胜利。所谓俗话说的好：吃得苦中苦，方为人上人。

A great deal of communicating is performed on a person-to-person basis by

the simple means of speech.

If we travel in buses, buy things in shops, or eat in restaurants, we are

likely to have conversations where we give information or opinions, receive news

or comment, and very likely have our views challenged by other members of

society.

Face-to-face contact is by no means the only form of communication and

during the last two hundred years the art of mass communication has become one

of the dominating factors of contemporary society.

Firstly, inventiveness has led to advances in printing, telecommunications,

photography, radio and television.

Secondly, speed has revolutionized the transmission and reception of

communications so that local news often takes a back seat to national news,

which itself is often almost eclipsed by international news.

No longer is the possession of information confined to a privileged

minority.

In the last century the wealthy man with his own library was indeed

fortunate, but today there are public libraries.

Forty years ago people used to flock to the cinema, but now far more people

sit at home and turn on the TV to watch a program that is being channeled into

The modern communication industry influences the way people live in society

and broadens their horizons by allowing access to information, education and

I like reading novels, because in the novels, I can imagine the world that

the author creates, I treat myself as part of the novels, it feels like that I

witness all the incidents. I especially like to read short novels, because I

don’t have so much to read the long novels, I am studying in the high school, I

have many subjects to learn. I have little time only on the weekends. Short

novels only costs me about one day to finish reading, while the long novels will

take me more than a week to finish, if I hang on reading part of it, I will

think about it all the time and can’t focus my mind on studying. What’s more, I

like to read novels more than twice, so it is easy to do for me to read short

As a student, it is my duty to go over my lesson after class, or I will

祥子有一个理想：拥有自己的洋车。于是他凭着勤劳和坚忍省吃俭用，终于如愿以偿。然而好景不长，没多久他的洋车就被士兵抢走。但他没有灰心，靠自己的努力又买了一辆洋车。好景不长，接着反动政府的侦探又诈去了他仅有的积蓄，他辛辛苦苦的积蓄又被洗劫一空。就这样反反复复三次，祥子再也无法鼓起生活的勇气。回到“仁和厂子”继续拉车。但是痛苦还没结束：厂主刘四爷的女儿虎妞看上了祥子，并诱惑他，祥子上了当，不得不娶了虎妞，不多久

虎妞就死于难产。

从此以后祥子就堕落了，以前的善良正直不见了，他憎恨任何人。拉车也不去了，吃喝嫖赌的恶习也染上了，他可以为金钱出卖朋友，彻底沦为了行尸走肉。

这故事是一个悲剧.彻彻底底的悲剧.一个曾经勤劳坚忍.有着自己目标的人最后却沦为了社会垃圾.从前的祥子善良淳朴.正直诚实.对生活有着像骆驼一般积极和坚韧.周围的人都是做一日和尚.敲一日钟.而祥子却不安于现状.他为了美好生活而努力.而奋斗.他宁愿冒着极大的风险去赚多一点的钱.来达到自己所想要的生活.他不断地追求.追求成功.追求幸福.然而即使是这样.也终究没有改变他最后的悲惨结局.

兵匪的鞭子，杨先生的盘剥，刘四爷的臭骂，孙侦探的明抢，洋大夫的冷漠，这是一座千真万确的地狱!最后虎妞惨死了，小福子上吊了，老马头倒毙在街头，祥子也终于穷途潦倒，逐渐消失在一座城门洞里……这就是一二十年代北京底层广大劳动大众的生活，这逼真的描写让我体会到了人力车夫们不可逾越的悲惨命运，让我深刻地认识了“地狱究竟是什么样子”。

读完这本书.我对祥子的评价为:祥子是一个经不住生活的考验.而失去生活的人。他为何不再寻求新的路.而成为社会的人渣.败类?他为何不做生活的主宰者.去自谋生活呢?我想.他也是害怕了.因为他是农民出身.他受不了生活一次次对他的打击.他放弃了.所以酿成了书中的人物一直走下坡路的原因后果啊!

明天会怎样?我不得而知.而现在我们唯一能做的.就是把握好今天。

暑假期间我读了《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，当我读完时，我已热泪盈眶，文中的保尔·柯察金他以自己的英雄气概，他为了拯救自己的祖国他放弃了一切，全心全意的为拯救自己的中国而努力。

他每天从晚上忙到早晨，中间只有短短的几分钟休息，每天早晨他还中忘不了给大家说一声“早上好!”他因为过多的忙碌而使自己双目失明，他虽然双眼失明，可他仍忘我工作，想到这里，我实在羞愧不已。

我们现在生活在一个富裕和平的年代，一个吃穿都不用愁的年代，可为什么古代的人都比我们刻苦呢?我明白我们现在生活的条件什么都好可我们太骄傲了，在家里被妈妈宠，在学校被老师宠，我们又怎样能够学习好呢?

第一章写的是林黛玉辞父进京，写的是林黛玉是姑苏人，爸爸林如海是御史，夫人是荣国府的千金小姐。却不幸早年去世，黛玉因过于悲痛，林如海决定把林黛玉送到外祖母那，第二天荣国府的人派船员去接黛玉。林黛玉恋恋不舍的上了船离别了父亲，林黛玉到了荣国府，外祖母和黛玉两人就悲痛起来。众人看到立马去劝，外祖母带林黛玉引见了两个舅母和珠嫂子。晚饭到了，黛玉看大家吃饭的样子和她们哪里不一样，就看着做呢。这样才让我知道了，凤姐协理宁国府、撕扇子宝玉欢笑、紫鹃有意试宝玉、刘姥姥逛大观园、黛玉焚稿等等……

这里面我最喜欢的是第六章的刘姥姥逛大观园，是因为这章里面刘姥姥说的每一句话和每一个动作都很好笑。

这个故事告诉我们一个大道理，就是做人要忠诚，阅读是一把通灵的钥匙，是要你愿意，他就会打开大门。

《小妇人》这本书主要讲的是：马奇一家有四个姐妹，他们的生活清贫，简单而又温馨。整本书描述了她们从懵懵懂懂的少女时代慢慢蜕变，长大，变得懂事了。本来姐妹们之间有许多的间隙，互相看不顺眼，大家天天吵吵闹闹的，一点儿也不和谐。但她们慢慢的懂得了互相之间谦让，礼貌。

我和我的妹妹本来年龄相差不大，各自都有自己的想法，不仅是玩不到一块去，还经常吵架。这本书让我和妹妹深有感触——我们也要学长大后的四姐妹，于是，我们决定和平相处，也要对对方礼貌和谦让。

渐渐的，我们的关系变好了，我也发现了她的“优点”，比如说，妹妹很会聊天，找话题，她跑步也很厉害，可以和我一起比赛跑步。而且，她还是一个游戏大王，玩游戏特别牛，她还很可爱，她还……

never forget their care and love. Gratefulness brings a great fullness to life.

trouble, we should give them a hand. But nowadays, some the bad guys make use of

people’s kindness to do criminal things. Recently, an article about a father

called on people to help her sick daughter was widespread in Wechat. Most people

had transported to let more people know. But later the media exposed the fact

that the father was rich and he wrote this article just to catch more fans.

Until then people were angry as they were cheated. The public condemns the

cheating behavior. The warm hearts should not be used of. It needs to be

cautious when people see the information about asking for help.

The spring festival is the chief holiday in china while christmas is the most important redletter day in the western world。

Both are prepared hefiorehand to create a joyous atmosphere; both offer a family reunion with a square feast: and both satisfy the children with new clothes, lovely presents and delicious food. However, the chinese spring festival has no religious background while christmas has something to do with god and there is santa claus with white heard to bring children presents. The westerners send each other christmas cards for greetings while the chinese people pay a call on each other。

nowadays, some of the chinese youth has begun to celebrate christmas, following the example of the westerners. Perhaps they do so just for fun and out of curiosity。

我读过很多童话故事，其中我最喜欢的一本是《秋天的童话》。它是李继忠选编的，故事情节很有趣，令我十分难忘。

在这一本书里，我最喜欢的一个故事是《夜莺》，其中有一句话很精彩："这树林里住着一只夜莺，他歌唱得非常美妙，就连那个夜间忙碌的穷苦渔夫，只要听到夜莺的歌声，就忍不住停下来欣赏。"给我留下深刻印象。它灵活地运用了拟人手法，并把渔夫的工作和生活状况描写得很生动。

我也很喜欢音乐。我常用歌声来赞美，打动妈 妈的心。连我家那只呆在笼中的小鸟，听了我的歌声也会顿时精神抖擞，随着音乐翩翩起舞，欢快的神态确实可爱！这就是音乐的魅力！

在这个人人工作或学习压力很大的时代，我们需要像小夜莺一样充满魅力的歌声来打动人心，使我们能忘记背后努力面前！这是一本很有意思的书，我希望每个人都能读到它。我爱《秋天的童话》。
