If the contrary, the outcome would be like Soapy: horror, realize that they have plunged into the abyss, the fallen years, shameful desire, despair, only poor intellectual exhaustion, motivation despicable.

Not grasp the opportunity to meet, are fools; not met but know how to grasp opportunities is talent; both opportunities and understanding of how the event is a genius.

Every year, the thing I expect the most is the Spring Festival. My parents

work far from home and they come back one or two times a year. The Spring

Festival is the time they come home. Every time they come back, they bring mangy

things to me. When I was little, they bought me toys, new clothes and shoes.

Now, they often buy me books. They say more reading is good for me. They hope I

can learn more. The time spend with them is always happy but short. They only

have half a month at home. I hope they can stay at home longer.

When we were children, we often say that I want to grow up, or I want to be

an adult. As children, we cannot do many things, while after we grow up, we can.

However, we often complain that I don’t want to grow up when we become adults

actually.

Firstly, growing up means more responsibilities. We should make a living by

ourselves or we should support our parents when they can’t earn enough money to

make a living.

Econdly, after graduation, we need to work instead of accomplishing

nothing. We should have a target and work for it, so we have pressure on

jobs.

Every coin has two sides. Grow up can also broaden our horizon, offer us an

opportunity to know more about our world, love and protect the important person

in our life. Don’t be afraid of growing up, just be a better person and enjoy

our life.

《中华上下五千年》这本书，相信大家都看过吧！它里面共有三十八个故事，共分成七个部份。第一个部份里有四个故事分别是：上古神话、尧舜禅让、大禹治水、周武王讨伐部纣。第二部份有十一个故事分别是：千金一笑、齐桓公雄图霸业、孔子周游列国、屈原投身汩罗江、商鞅变法、秦五政灭六国、中国第一个皇帝、楚汉之争、汉武帝“罢黑出百家，独尊儒术”、张塞出使西域、司马迁与《史记》。第三部份共有三个故事；分别是：孙刘联合战赤壁、王与司马共天下、周武帝统一北方。第四部份，分别写了：杨坚建立隋朝、隋炀帝荒淫亡国、玄武门之变、贞观之治、一代女皇武则天、安史之乱、五代十国。第五部份分别写了赵匡胤阵桥兵变、王安石法、一代天骄成吉思汗……在

《中华上下五千年》这本书中，我最喜欢的有：大禹治水、千金一笑、一代女皇武则天、郑和下西洋、中日战争、中国第一个皇帝、秦王政灭六国、上古神话。其中，大禹治水主要讲了：传说，尧在位的时候，黄河流域发生了很大的水灾。庄稼、土地被淹没了，百姓的房屋、财产也被淹没了，不少地方还有毒蛇、猛兽出没，闹得百姓苦不堪言。为了治理洪水，尧召开了部落联盟会议，决定派居住在崇地的部落首领鲧负责治水。鲧用了九年的时间，也没有把洪水制伏。那时山川、土地都归天帝管理，鲧并没有得到天帝的允许，就率人搬运土石，修建堤坝，阻止洪水。没想到的是，鲧的这一做法惹怒了天帝，天帝派火神祝融把鲧杀死了。鲧死后，人们把鲧的肚子剖开，一个可爱的小男孩，从他肚里跳了出来，那个小男孩就是大禹。大禹长大后，被封为部落首领。尧的继承人舜，让大禹接任父职，负责治水。在这十三年中他三次经过家门而不入。有一次他的儿子刚出生，他听到自己的孩子正在哇哇大哭，仍狠下心没进去探望。他的这种伟大精神是多么的难能可贵，大禹历尽了千辛万苦，终于治理好洪水，又使百姓过上了幸福、快乐的生活。大禹治水有功，被舜选为继承人。舜死后，大禹继承了他的位置。在大禹的管理下，人们又过上了幸福安定的生活。中华民族有着悠久的历史和灿烂的文化。五千年的漫长历程，为后人留下了许多美好的故事和传说。在

《中华上下五千年》这本书中，我仿佛见到了把地球一分为二的盘古、创造人类的女娲、为了治洪水三次经过家门而不入的大禹、企图用暴力手段来压制人民的秦始皇……这些故事让我明白了很多深奥的道理。我们要珍惜这份来之不易的幸福生活。在这份美好的环境中好好学习，天天向上。才不辜负伟大先人们浴血奋战和辛苦拼搏得来的美好家园。等我们这一代长大后，一定要把祖国建设的更加繁荣昌盛！

我喜欢在课余时间或者闲暇时间看一些书。书中有着我在生活中看不见的事，也有生活中时常发生的事。我看过几本课外名著，其中最令我钦佩的是《简爱》这篇文章。

这篇文章很深刻的反映出了当时的社会，社会上的人们如何被剥削、压抑着，而我最钦佩文章中的简爱，她崇尚自由、平等，在被他人压迫、威胁时，他表现出的不是懦弱，而是勇敢地反抗，尽管这很微不足道，简爱却是当时被压迫人民的典范。

尽管被所有人认成“疯子”，“坏孩子”，她不是一味的逃避，而是迎难而上，她懂得追求生活的乐趣，敢于大胆的追爱，在那样一个受剥削的社会，是没有人敢这样做的，即使是在她爱的人落魄后，他也没有放弃，可见，她不是一个爱慕虚荣、贪慕名利的女子。我们的生活中，就缺少像他这样不卑不亢、勇敢、执着的人。

同样，我也很替她的朋友惋惜，比如海伦，在文章中她是一个很安静的女孩，但她典型是社会剥削的人之一，从中，可看出她的思想、骨子里有着一种名为“懦弱”的东西，与简爱形成明显的对比。与此同时，简爱的“姐姐”以及“哥哥”“母亲”等人的出场深刻突出简爱勇于反抗，斗争的性格，这也是我钦佩简爱的原因之一······

我在这篇文章中读出了人生的哲理，做人的道理。“读万卷书，行万里路”这句话说的没好读书所带给我的感触，不比我在实践生活中少。所以，我们要好读书、爱读书，从书中悟出道理，丰富我们的知识。

Since I went to school, I spent a lot of time in study. My classmates and

teachers are just like my families. We almost meet each other every day. My

teachers help me a lot. When I meet problems in study, they are very patient and

help me to figure out the answers. When I have trouble in getting along with

other students, they will talk to me and comfort me. I am so thankful to them,

because they care about me just like my parents. I respect them so much. In my

heart, they are the great people. I must study hard so that I can return their

love.
