The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse. While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodneeventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty.

How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodnecould conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodneis omnipotent, yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

For me, the nature of goodneis one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodneis to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodneis an utterly worthleperson. On the contrary, as the famous saying goes, ‘The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose’, he who is with goodneundoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done, and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

To my disappointment, nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodnein humanity. They look down on people’s honesty and kindness, thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. As a result, they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. On the other hand, they attach importance to money and benefit. In their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. If they cannot get profit from showing their ‘kindness’, they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. They are one of the sorts that I really detest.

Francis Bacon said in his essay, ‘Goodness, of all virtues and dignities of the mind, is the greatest, being the character of the Deity, and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing, no better than a kind of vermin.’

That is to say a person without goodneis destined to lose everything. Therefore, I, a kind person, want to tell those ‘vermin-to-be’ to learn from the kind Oliver and regain the nature of goodness.

As my second year of high school life has come, I feel a little stressful,

because I want to enter a better college, but my score worries me. I have made

up my mind to make great progress on my study. Firstly, I need to improve my

weak subjects. Geography and math are always my weakness, so I decide to go over

他慷慨大方，重义轻财。比如他请史进，赠金老。一听说金老父女的苦情，把自己身边带来的五两银子全放在桌上，还向史进、李忠借钱来帮助金老父女逃生。当李忠不爽利只摸出来二两银子时，鲁智深便将这银子丢还了他。

他性急如火，又心细如丝。如他听到金老父女哭诉之后，忍不住怒火，马上就要去打死郑屠。但他救助金老父女脱身的安排，又是非常周到的。在酒楼听到隔壁哭声，便把碟儿盏儿都丢在楼板上。从这也反映出他焦急、暴躁的缺点，

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morningfrom

Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head

teacher says health is themost important thing. After running I have to do

morning exercises on theplayground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast,

thanks to mothers. This festival first appeared in ancient Greece and modern

Mothers Day originated in the United States which usually falls on the second

Sunday of May each year. Mothers usually receive gifts on this day and

carnation(康乃馨) is regarded as the flower for mother. In China, the flower for

mother is day lily(萱草花), also known as Nepenthe(忘忧草). In addition, cleaning up

Mothers Day gifts.

The summer vacation had come round again。 I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while。 Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation， I made a plan as to how to spend it。 First， I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them。 Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise， such as walking， running rowing， to keep me physically strong。 It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time。 I did， because I lived up to what I had planned。

In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic.

People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be

involved in an acci dent. With the development of industry and population

expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages.

For ex ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many

main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more

crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines

should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be

greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people

wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the

two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus

lines in downtown.

忙碌的工作和巨大的压力，我越来越喜欢独处，曾经一度沉溺于读书习作，如今，看了很多文友的文章，愈加不敢动笔。特别是无意间将名家作品和文友的作品放在一起阅读，他们的文章都有一个共同的特点：除了文笔优美，感情真挚，就是我无法到达的文化水准，这也许就是我懒动笔和不敢动笔的原因。

近日夜读《楚雄日报》郭志安先生的散文《涌上心头的感动》后，觉得读其它几篇文章便觉无味。我读出该文的美感，它的美，体现在四个方面。一是“实”，文章的感情真实，内容充实，事例详实。文中的几件事情，都是常见之事，真实之事，但就这么几件看似很小的事情却饱含着作者真挚的感情，一种至善至亲的温情，一种纯之又纯的亲情。二是以“小”见“大”。平淡的文字背后，我们可以看出作者是一个认真生活，懂得生活，享受生活的人。在这个物欲横流的社会，很多人都忙于工作、忙于应酬、忙于利益，削尖脑袋，有缝就钻、有空就挤，即便那些不屑于“钻”和“挤”的人，也被繁杂的琐事麻木了神经，麻木了情感，有几个人能静下心来享受生活，体味亲情、友情。然而《涌上心头的感动》这篇散文却让我们浮躁的心灵回到宁静的港湾,如品一杯清茶。三是“形聚神凝”。整篇文章，不管是形式也好，内容也好，都深深地吸引着读者。原因是文章形式和内达到了高度的统一，父与子情感交融，父亲的亲子爱子之情，儿子的天真、可爱、自信、坚持和理解，通篇都贯通了一个“情”字，使篇幅短小的文章增加了几份凝练和厚重。四是文笔清鲜自然。语言通俗易懂，文笔自然，一气呵成，没有半点刻意雕琢的痕迹。

近年来，出现的作家越来越多，作品寥若晨星，值得认真去读的作品却很少。有的文章虚张声势、有的刻意雕琢，有的唬弄读者。他们不是为功利写作，就是为了完成某项任务，完全发自内心热爱文学、用心写作的人少而又少。阅读和写作是陶冶心灵最好的生活姿态，大多数作家都是业余的写作者，至于审美取向如何，都取决于写作者的文学修养。文如其人，读郭志安先生的散文，如沐浴在春天的阳光里，心生暖意，又如栖身溪畔，清鲜舒畅。

诗歌是情感的浓缩，写诗的人情感都比较丰富，这是我对诗歌和诗人最简单的理解。郭志安先生是诗人，他的散文里也蕴含着诗歌精髓。但他的散文并非就是完美的，有时也会身不由己地陷入某种尴尬的写作境地。但我还是期望他能更加关注农村、更加关注底层社会生活，写出像《涌上心头的感动》这样感人的文章，让社会多一些感动，少一些麻木，营造和谐美好的生活环境。

这段时间细读了鲁迅的《朝花夕拾》，鲁迅是我最喜欢的作家之一，他的《朝花夕拾》也是其中我最喜欢的作品之一。

童年，这是每个人都拥有的。虽然在童年里有苦有笑，但是童年会在自己的心里留下美好而难忘的回忆。鲁迅的《朝花夕拾》，原名是叫做《旧事重提》，是对逝去岁月的回忆，有真挚的情怀，有无奈的感伤。欢快的时候，我感到有沁人心脾的馨香袭来;郁闷不乐的时候，我感到无名的寂寞前来吞噬。这一切，确实是能真切的感受得到的。

在这本书中，鲁迅将自己在童年中难忘的人和难忘的事，用真实、天真、有趣的话语表达出来。鲁迅的童年并不是美好的。他做的每件事都得不到长辈的认同，这使他感到很难过。但是他没有怨恨这些不认同他的长辈，而是将这些长辈的不认同改为动力，写入这本书里。他在这书中，把童年的无奈和寂寞释放出来。读过它后，我能感受到在鲁迅的童年虽然并不很开心和快乐，但也时时刻刻充满着美好的回忆。鲁迅的童年是五味俱全的。既有酸甜，也有苦辣，更少不了有咸。而我们的童年也一样的。即使过得不怎么好，但童年永远会在我们心灵的最深处，永远埋藏在属于它的地方，留下美好难忘的记忆。

《朝花夕拾》的取材，包含着深广的社会历史内容，具有丰富的思想意义，表现了鲁迅对半封建半殖民地社会生活的深刻认识和他那反帝反封建彻底的革命精神。他写人物，带有强烈的时代感;记事件，则透过现象提示其深刻的社会本质;发言论、抒感情，则无不闪射着思想的火花!

真是一本好书。

Once a child asked such a question: What can I benefit from being "a good

Last year, my father bought a lovely pet for me. She has four white paws

and a white and yellow tail. She has two small ears, two green eyes and eight

whiskers on her face. Her name is Sally and she is one year old.

Do you know what it is? A cat? Yes, it is a cat. She has very short fur and

At beginning of the book, I think Scarlet was a beautiful, lucky woman. So many young men were in love with her and they always stayed around her. But in fact ,Scarlet was not the lucky woman I thought . She was fell in love with Ashley Wilkes, but the man was not like the other boys around her. when then news came that Ashley would be married with Melanie ,she felt surprised and even couldn’t accept the fact. With the psychology of revenging Ashley, Scarlett married to Melanie’s brother before the day of Ashley’wedding.

Soon after the war broke out , many young man died ,including Scarlett’s husband. Scarlett became a widow. She couldn’t stand the boring life, so when Melanie invited her to the home of Charles’s aunt. Without more consideration ,Scarlett left for Atlanta.

One time hospital hold a party to collect contributions. Then at the party ,she met Rhett buther, the man who loves her at first sight. Although Scarlett didn’t show any good feeling to him, Rhett buther always companied her and made her happy. For several reasons, she married again,but Rhett still loved her. But from her attitude for life,we could know that she was a strong woman.she never gave up facing endless difficulties.when the war was terrible, everything was in confusion ,Scarlett had to take Melanie left back to home, the Tara Plantation. Hopefully she wanted her parent’s help. But to her surprise, her mum had died and her father was out of normal. Situation have became more difficult. While Melanie was going to give birth to a baby. Scarlet made her mind on taking on the task. In order to keep living ,Scarlett even went to work on farm ,she planted cotton. Melanie was in poor health, but she still went to help Scarlett to do farm work. She believed Scalett and gave her unselfish love. With Menlanie’s love,Scarlett supported her home,but at this time ,she still didn’t realize how important Melanie for her. In order to solve the problem of the Tara plantation,she married to Frank. In order to make a living she also did business which was unbelievable for women in this time. She struggled with countless difficulties, but she never gave up. She still believed “Tomorrow is a new day”。

Another girl that I loved in this book is Melanie,she was very kind and gentle. She never doubted the relationship between Scarlett and Ashley, she always standed in the side of Scarlett. Although Scarlett hated her and even wanted her to die. She still believed Scalett and treated Scarlett as her best friend. Melanie loved her husband ,when her husband was fighting in the war, she always waited for him. She didn’t have the strength to give birth, but she still wanted to have a baby for Ashley, finally, she died.

These three main characters in the book are all very obvious, but different. They gave me a impression. Scarlett was a plain girl, but what she did was not plain. She didn’t stay silent during the war, she changed her own life by strugling. In fact, many people lost what they have like Scarlett,but they all gave up to strive for the happiness that essentially belonged to them. Scarlett have the braveness to change the situation. But the pity was that she didn’t recognize the real love belong her in time. If she could got deep understanding of Ashley, she may not love him. If she could open her heart to Rhett and understand him, she may realized her love to Rhett. Sometimes I couldn’t help thinking that why the author can write this moved story. Maybe she have the similar experiences.

On the whole, this is a wonderful book, I feel very grateful that I can read it. I could get many benefits from it.

当我读完了《城市的眼睛》这本书以后第一个想到的就是这个问题。故事讲述了星河村的朱迪和妈妈一起来到了爸爸所在的城市，还认识了沙鹏、卢晶晶这些好朋友，生活的很快乐……然而，好景不长，没过多久，卢晶晶的爸爸抛弃了她的母亲和卢晶晶，而不久之后，朱迪的爸爸又因为车祸离开了人世……

但是，在朱迪的妈妈胡秀娟的不断努力下，这个家庭又变得快乐起来，虽然朱迪还是很想念爸爸，但是他也学会了坚强，在朱迪的家中，虽然他们母子二人并不富裕，但是却仍然保持着家应该有的温馨。这又让我想起了平常在电视里经常看到这样的故事，是啊，财富不是最重要，至少对于一个家庭来说，财富不代表一切，最大的财富，只不过是属于每一个家庭的温暖。

而对于故事中的严晶晶来说，爸爸，是她日夜都盼望的人，但是严晶晶的父亲抛弃了她和她的母亲，严晶晶曾经温暖的家，以及她与爸爸的亲情，仿佛瞬间瓦解了，但是，她还是希望，有一天，她的爸爸会从新回到她身边……严晶晶是不幸的，也是幸运的，她还拥有她的好朋友，也有人照顾她，这对她来说，也许是另一种温暖吧！

亲情、友情、温暖……在《城市的眼睛》中，每一个家庭都有自己的故事与"情"，也许吧，城市不就是由这一个个平凡而有不平凡的家庭，平凡而又不平凡的故事组成的么！

城市的灯光就是城市的眼睛，在这茫茫的灯光下，还有无数的温暖，无数快乐的家庭，也有无数的故事在发生……

让我们回到开头的问题：人生，最重要的是什么？是温暖，是家庭，是"情"……

A Little princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist. It obviously contains lots of fancied plots, but the parts it talks about creating miracles, can really reach the bottom of my heart. The book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it. The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess.

In my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but Sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her. There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a GREat deal of miracles over and over again.

After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.

Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. the “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.

Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.

Do not feel depressed any more, to be a well-thought-of princess like Sara. You can do it, because Every Girl Can Be A princess.

When I return to my hometown on holidays, I will be very excited, because

it is the place that I love so much. The trees are so green and the sky is so

blue. When I play on the river side, I can catch fish. I grow up there and have

a happy time with my dear friends. I will never forget the beautiful scenery

there.
