臭鼬是以甲虫等小型无脊椎动物为食，兼吃鼠类和果实，皮毛有很高的经济价值。臭鼬是产于北美洲和中美洲的一种鼬科哺乳动物，它以极其发达的肛门腺而“臭名远扬”。

臭鼬身披黑白分明、粗而密长的皮毛。身体以黑色为主，颈背部有一白色斑块，并由此向背脊两侧各发出一条显著的白色毛带，呈“人”字形。尾巴粗大，尾毛很长，它常以高耸的尾巴及背脊显眼的白斑来恐吓骚扰它的动物。臭鼬还有一套独特的“击退”敌害的手段，这就是利用肛门腺“制造”化学武器。一旦臭鼬遇到攻击者，就会立即调转屁股，髙竖尾巴，从肛门喷射臭液，使强敌退却，这种臭液不仅奇臭难闻，而且还有麻痹作用，能使追捕者难受几星期。臭液喷到人脸上，倘若射入眼中，还会引起流泪甚至造成失明。由于有了这套本领，臭鼬经常那个大摇大摆、毫无顾忌地徘徊在百兽群栖的森林中。

臭鼬很有趣吧?

有一天，在我们放学的时候，一个搞宣传的阿姨给了我一张宣传单，上面写的是：“7月1日在铁路俱乐部举行珍稀动物展览”。宣传单上面画了许多动物，像台湾美女蛇、巨型蜘蛛、大尾巴松鼠、大蜗牛、鳄鱼等等。

在一个晴朗星期天的下午，我和几个好朋友一起去展览馆看动物，那里面有一个大庙龟，大庙龟的头是尖的，外壳是椭圆的，上面有很多花纹，全是一个一个的小梯形。它的壳很大能站上一个大人，但它的体型却只有数学书那麽大。

还有一个大蟒，它足有五厘米粗，有一米多长，是蟒蛇家族个头最小的小家伙，据说如果长大的话，可以长到几十米，有水桶那麽粗。让人想起来就害怕。他很懒惰，盘在那儿一动也不动，呆在玻璃柜里。

最好玩的是一条小青蛇，它青青的、细细的，好像一根青色的筷子，小青蛇的鳞片很滑，是菱形的，太阳一照非常的亮。它不咬人，讲解员叔叔拿着它，它非常温和地盘绕在讲解员叔叔的手臂上，我还亲自摸了摸它，非常滑，非常凉，感觉可好了。

整整一个下午，我们在展览馆玩得不亦乐乎，它充分让我认识到在大自然里，有许多和我们共生共荣的动物，它们和人类息息相关，我希望保护动物的爱心行动能祖祖辈辈传递下去。

今天是个阳光明媚的星期日，小舅舅带我和爸爸妈妈和哥哥去动园。到了动物园，看见里面人山人海，有小孩、老人。小舅舅买了门票，我们就开始参观了。

我们行参观的是爬行动物。有凶恶的蛇、几分米长的蜥蜴……其中我喜欢蛇，是因为它常常挂在树上，好像真的一样，可以更好捕获动物，又可以躲过敌人的眼睛。我们还参观了毛科动物。有可爱迷人的金丝猴、满身力量的大猩猩……那金丝猴怎么不惹人喜爱呢?那金色的丝毛和那顽皮的个性，多么像一个淘气的小孩。因此，游客们情不处禁的把自己的食物扔给食物吃，每次都被金丝猴给接住了。有一句俗话：山中无老虎猴子称大王。然后就是食肉科。有兽中之王的老虎，可怕狮子，笨拙的熊……我最喜欢的就是老虎。因为老虎威风凛凛，又是兽中之王。又会捕获动物，我又属虎。还有一个的长颈鹿科。那头上的两个东西像两个火柴。因为他那长长的脖子，我都不知道它到底怎么喝水。听爸爸说：“曾经生活着长颈鹿的祖先，不过颈和腿没有现代那么长。后来，由于地球生态环境和气候的变化，食物缺乏，脖子短点的长颈鹿因为够不着高树上的树叶而相继死去，脖子长点的则顽强地生存下来。”……

今天我真快乐。
