to sum up, the worlds endangered animals are an important resource and we should protect them by setting aside some land for them. although mankinds need for land continues to grow, people are intelligent and inventive enough to put the land they have to better use. in this way, we can have enough land for farming, housing and industry, and preserve the biodiversity of the planet at the same time.

“大型野生动物园来了!”大型野生动物园来到了我们垦利体育中心。今天，妈妈带我去垦利体育中心参观从青岛来的大型野生动物园。

刚进门，就看见几十多种动物展现在眼前。我真不知往哪儿看才好。接着，妈妈带我一个一个地参观。

参观的第一个动物是东北大老虎。前额的“王”字斑纹透出百兽之王的威风。还穿着一身黑黄相间的棉袄，它可真漂亮。但是，这只东北大老虎今天却不太威风，也许是今天很晒，也许是大老虎没吃饱，不愿意动弹，躺在笼子里睡大觉，尾巴还不时地动一动，只有饲养员过去斗斗它，它才站起来，只要饲养员一走，大老虎就躺下了。不过它的牙齿可吓人了。又尖又长，只要它一张嘴，我就觉得大老虎要扑过来吃了我。

终于放暑假了，妈妈为了奖励我和姐姐这学期的表现，于是决定带我们到动物园去玩。

出发那天，老天爷似乎也在替我高兴，因为一大早就是个风和日丽的好天气，等大家准备一切就绪后，我们一家人浩浩荡荡的出发了，一路上我们有说有笑的，好不热闹。到了休息站，爸爸告诉我们，这个休息站很有特色，所以决定让我们下去逛逛，一走进去映入眼帘的是精致和豪华的布置，彷彿来到人间仙境，走进里面真是让我眼睛为之一亮，我看到了美食街前面有个超大鱼缸，这座鱼缸大到人都可以进去游泳了，真的好特别喔!休息站里面不仅有玩的还有吃的，好方便。

休息过后我们一家人继续上路，终于到了动物园，我很兴奋的背着我的熊猫背包准备要开始我的动物园之旅，由于放暑假的关系所以人山人海，排队买票的人大排长龙，好不容易才排队买到票，我和姐姐就迫不及待的进入动物园参观，进到里面我第一眼见到的就是无尾熊，无尾熊全身毛茸茸，小无尾熊趴在妈妈身上吃东西，它的模样真是可爱，妈妈告诉我，无尾熊不需要喝水，因为它们身体所需的水分是从“尤加利树叶”中取得。

我们在动物园里面看到许多大型、小型的动物，终于看到了我最期盼的猫熊─ ─团团和圆圆，乍看之下两只猫熊根本是双胞胎，但是仔细看，还是有许多不同的地方，例如：团团的耳朵形状则较像铲子，圆圆的像汤匙，看它们活泼的样子，真想把它们抱回家。

走着走着我们走进了企鹅馆，没想到企鹅馆这么凉爽，把我的汗水都赶跑了，企鹅有分“国王企鹅”和“黑脚企鹅”，它们走路的模样都好特别，左右摇来摇去的，好像在跳舞一样，我还看到有几只顽皮的企鹅宝宝在旁边玩水、游泳，自由自在很悠闲的样子。

它要是高兴，能比谁都殷勤，能比谁都温柔。它会冲你汪汪叫几声，或是蹭着你的腿叫你把它抱进怀里，轻轻抚摸它，它偎在你的怀里，静静地躺着，享受着你的爱抚，仿佛是个温顺的孩子。它还很善解人意，在你写作业的时候，它也不吵不闹，只是静静地趴在你身边，摇头晃脑地看着你，或者自己玩，就是不会打扰你;但它若是不开心，情绪不高，你叫它，它也不会理你，更愿意躲在一个角落里，蜷成一团，呼呼大睡;你若这时训它，它的小脾气一上来，就会跟你赌气，然后“离家出走”，出去一天也不见个影儿，让你挂念它。

i have two turtles, they are cute. i′ve had them for two years.

they carry heavy shells,just like carrying a school bag. they have eyes which shines just like black beans. they are funny.

they are like to eat the watermelon in the summer. mother always buy more for the turtles,so i think that they like to cool down as well, but they are shy when eating, they don′t want to be watched, as they inhaling the food . the ofter day , i bried to observe how they eat their food.

the way they eat is really funny.no wondey why they are so shy.

Every year on October 4th is the World Animal Day. It is proposed by the Italian monk St Francis in 12th century. He lives in the forests of Assisi Island for the long time, building a good relationship with the animals. So he asks people to express thanks to the animals on October 4th. He sets a good example for our human beings about how to deal with the relationship with animals. In order to memorize him and what he does, we make October, 4th to be World Animal Day. Nowadays, people from all over the world will hold various activities to celebrate on that day. The aim of this festival is to remind people to care for all animals and build a harmonious relationship with them.

每年的十月四日是世界动物日。它是由意大利修道士圣弗兰西斯在十二世纪提出的。他长期生活在阿西西岛上的森林中，与动物建立了良好的关系。所以他要求村民们在10月4日这天向动物表示感谢。他为如何正确处理与动物的关系树立了一个很好的榜样。后人为了纪念他和他所做的，我们把十月四号定为世界动物日。现在，在那一天来自世界各地的人会用各种活动来庆祝这一节日。这一节日的目的在于提醒人们关爱所有的动物，与他们建立和谐的关系。

Dog is my favorite animal. The reason why I like it most is because it’s very competent. Dog is the best friend for mankind. It is also the best companion for the old people. The dog can feel the human nature. So many old people will raise dogs if their children are not with them. The old can give their love for their children to the dog to make themselves feel warmly. I believe the seeing eye dog is very famous. They are special dogs. Those dogs will guide their owners whose eyes is blind to go the correct way. See, I say dogs are very competent.
