Everyone will have some unforgettable memories. These big and small

memories are like the shining stars in my memory, and one of them is the first

time I read science books.

It was the second day of the summer vacation for Daban. It was sunny and a

little sultry in the morning. My father said to me happily, "son, today my

father will take you to climb the mountain and enjoy the beautiful scenery on

the top of the mountain." I readily agreed. So we came to the famous Dayang

mountain in Dongzhu.

My father and I went to the foot of the mountain, looked up, and could not

see the top of Dayang mountain. My father said, "climb to the top of the

mountain and you can enjoy the most beautiful scenery in the world." I look

forward to my father.

At the beginning of climbing, I was full of energy and very relaxed. But

when I climbed to the middle of the mountain, my body became heavier and heavier

like lead. Dad saw me like this, so we rested for a while, and continued to

climb up. After a long time, I saw that I was exhausted when I was near the top

of the mountain. I begged dad to take me down the mountain. Dad encouraged me:

Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! April 12 is memorable because our clahad a meaningful experience on that day. In the morning, we bicycled to the suburbs to plant trees, talking and laughing all the way. Upon arrival, we began to work immediately. Some were digging holes. Some were carrying and planting young trees. Others were watering . After getting the work done, we put up a board reminding people to protect the trees. Before leaving we took some photos to record our green action. The moment I stepped in high school, I have made up my mind to study hard

Listening to music was a good way. I would sing with the music and shake my

Various modern means of transpot have taken the place of human feet and horses.

People can take aeroplanes, subways, even maglevs and so on. They offer people

much convenience. That is to say, people neednt feel worried for wasting a

great deal of time travelling any more. However, while people are enjoying the

changes caused by hi-tech, something still remains the same. For example, those

traditional customs and festivals, especially the custom that people gather to

have dinner as well as ethical culture forms like Peking Opera, ancient

architecture and traditional food. Peking Opera is spreading throughout. As to

ancient architecture like Siheyuan and Hutong, people are still preserving them

well as the symbol of the whole nationalitys historical culture. As for

traditional food, people are still used to eating it. Even though the world has

been extremely highly developed and there are many foreign cultures are pouring

into China, traditional food is still the mainstream. So, I think, although

those hi-tech products bring along unprecedented creature comfort, traditional

cultures will stay unchanged and they will develop further. And on the original

basis, it must creat miracles one after another, because it belongs to the souls

of our Chinese nationality.

Things in the world are changing. People are changing and every creature is

changing. Changing is a neutral word. We can’t judge it is good or bad in

general, because every coin has two sides. But sometimes we need to change,

because it is good for us. Sometimes we will meet some difficult or

uncomfortable situation. When we are not able to change it, we need to change

ourselves. If both of us refuse to budge, the problem would not be solved.

Sometimes we need to change our life attitude; sometimes we need to change our

individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce

government should keep its regulatory role for properly supervision. Related

Since I went to college, I feel so excited about the new chapter of my

life. I have imagined the campus life for so many years. Now I finally come to

We need to follow all kinds of public rules, such as the manner rules and

the traffic regulation. If we break the rules, then all the work will be out of

order and everybody will suffer the loss. But few people just ignore the rules

and waste other people’s time and money.

Chinese high speed train has won many praise from foreign people. The

trains always start off as the timetable and reach the destination on time. High

speed train is popular by the public by its speed and punctuality, but what if

someone breaks the traffic rule? Recently, a video got popular on the Internet.

A woman was stuck in the door of high speed train and the staffs tried to stop

her but failed. She said her husband was on the way and she wanted the train to

start off later. How ridiculous it was. How could she let all the passengers to

wait for her. Everybody’s time is precious.

Though the woman apologized after the policemen’s education, what she did

discomforts the public. The way she acted wasted the public’s time. It is our

duty to follow rules and keep the public in order.
