Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. 要说茶余饭后最好的休闲场所，非娄星广场莫属了。远远的你可看到广场的大屏幕，里面播放着各种节目和风趣的小品，而屏幕下方，总能看到一张张开心的笑脸。广场中央有一个很大的人工湖，晚上还可以看到美丽的喷泉。市民们跟据自已的喜好在广场上开场各种活动，有跳各种舞的，有搞各种运动的，有练书法的……应有尽有。我问一名在跳舞的老太太感觉怎么样，老太太一边跳舞，一边笑答：“这叫艺术，这叫热爱生活！”

Protecting the Environment

With the improvement of our living standard, more and more people can afford a car. As a result, our roads are more often than not crammed with cars. However, with more and more waste gas being discharged by the cars, the problem of air pollution becomes even more serious. So nowadays we advocate to lead a low-carbon life.

如今，我们的居住环境有了很大的改变。我专注地想，看看这些高楼大厦，看看这些大街小巷，看看这些商场超市，这些“新花样”便利了我们多少呀？想着想着我的脑子里就浮现出了我们以前的房子遮不住风，挡不住雨的凄惨画面。

时间像奔跑的小马，转眼间，10年过去了，我回到家乡了。

啊!这还是以前那天空灰蒙一片，到处尘土飞扬的家乡吗?以前的空气浑浊不堪，可现在，空气清新，空气里还夹杂着花的香味，沁人心脾。以前人们开着屁股冒着滚滚浓烟的机动车，可现在，机动车已经“退休”了。人们开的都是超级环保的能量汽车，它们只要把空气里有害的物质给吸收，再把有害的东西给转化成能量，就可以行驶了。

但是现在不同了，放眼望去，满眼都是青山绿水，小河里的水清澈见底，如果你渴了，你还可以把水直接捧起来喝呢!小河里鱼虾嬉戏，小鱼在蹦跳，小虾在石缝间捉迷藏。岸上垂柳在对镜梳妆，仿佛在炫耀它美丽的容貌。山上的森林郁郁葱葱，树叶把森林封得严严实实的，遮住了蓝蓝的天空，遮住了强烈的阳光，是人们乘凉的好去处。
