我的家在六横梅峙村，那里风景优美，山清水秀。

我家门口有一条弯弯的小河。以前看到那被污染的河水后，会大吃在惊。水面上漂浮着菜叶、塑料袋、鸡毛、鸭毛等杂物，因为长期没人打捞和清理，漂浮在河面上的杂物都腐烂了，散开出一股难闻的气味。夏天一到，蚊子苍蝇在河面上飞舞，河旁边的黑泥土散发出一股臭气。整条河就像一个生了重病的人，在唉声汉气，呼吁着，盼望着新的生命。

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment. My school life

I am a student who study in a school which is located in Yongchang. I was admitted into this beautiful school. I still remember the day when I first went to school. In my eyes, everything was pretty. I get on well with my classmates and teachers. Since I went to this school, I think of my teachers as my best friends like leaves and flowers. I never look upon them as others. It is reason why I often question my teachers on some problems is that I love them. 我家后面有一条美丽的小河，可这几年来，是人类的生活垃圾和工厂的污水让它受到了伤害。

以前，那里的河水清澈见底，在阳光的照耀下波光粼粼，四周绿树成荫，绿草如茵，花儿姹紫嫣红，还时不时有蝴蝶飞来采花蜜呢！人们在那里高兴地散步，呼吸着清新甜润的空气，小朋友在游玩，那时的景色是多么的美呀！可是现在，河水非常浑浊，还发出一种怪味，风一吹过，怪味随风四散，闻着都觉得恶心。由于空气已经被污染了，花草树木全都枯萎了，蝴蝶再也不飞来了，鱼儿也被污水害死了，人们还把垃圾一车一车地倒在草地上，已经成了一座用垃圾堆成的“小山”，小河成为了蚊子、苍蝇的世界，人们从这里走过，都要捂着鼻子绕道而行。

因为人类的生活垃圾，因为工厂排放的污水，那里的花不再红，那里的草不再绿，蝴蝶也不再有了……救救大自然吧！不要再让地球母亲受到伤害了，保护地球母亲，从我做起，从现在做起！

保护环境，人人有责。我们现在不是要争创文明城市吗？要想我们共有的城市——哈尔滨取得荣誉，我们就要保护环境，别人需要帮助的时候，我们要及时伸出帮助之手，体现出中华民族的传统美德。当然，即便在没有创成文明城市的时候，我们也要如此。

保护环境，从我做起。每到周末的时候，妈妈带我学完琴，在回家的路上，我们经常看见路上有白色的塑料袋，要知道塑料袋可是百年不化的呀！风一吹，它就会毫不费力的满街飞舞，对环境的影响特别大：不仅不美观，而且危害大。于是我们决定看见一个就“收拾”一个。一次，我在黑暗中把路上的塑料袋捡起，看了看，当时吓了我一大跳，是什么恶心的家伙在上面爬呀？妈呀，是蟑螂！我连忙放手，蟑螂随着塑料袋一起落地，蟑螂想乘机逃跑。妈妈眼疾“手”快，忙说：“除四害，除四害！”上去一脚便把蟑螂给踩死了。我飞快地将塑料袋捡起扔进垃圾桶了。哈哈，一举两得呀！

其实不用去拿个扫把去扫大街，累得满头大汗的。我们可以从一点一滴做起，从身边的小事做起。比如我前面所说的乐于助人，像我们看见一些年纪大的老年人过马路，我们可以上去扶他们一下，等等这些举手之劳的小事都可以。我认为有些公益广告说得很对，像“爱心一小步，健康成长一大步。”对，只要贡献出一点爱心，哪怕是一点点，只要贡献了，你的心灵就会受到洗礼。我认为，今天我做了好事，我就开始是一个文明的人了。希望我们常州人个个从身边的小事做起，时时做个文明人，文明人多了，文明事就会多，常州就会是名副其实的文明城了！

从我来到学校，校园里的变化我都记在心中。

以前我们学校的名字叫作 龙翔文武学校，我记得当时的校服是黄色的，看着别熟练的练着武术，心里羡慕不已。后来又改成了中英文小学，穿的就是我们现在穿的校服。我们每天都会上英语课，有时也会练一下武术。渐渐升到了二、三年级，我就不再红武术了，不过增添了音乐、美术兴趣小组班。

到了现在已是六年级了，在这期间学校有了很大的变化。原来教学楼后面有着许多小树，现在变成了许多机械模型。原本的体育馆变成了现在的航天展览馆，里面有着各式各样的航天器，比如：飞船、火箭……还有学校的大门，以前是中规中矩的校门，现在却是焕然一新的模拟隐形战斗机的三角造型，像要一飞冲天呢!看上去很壮观。从校门进来第一眼就是一架直升飞机。原本的房间里面都只是床铺、柜子、扫把和拖把，现在有专门放牙杯、毛巾的地方，而且还把木柜换成铁皮柜，每个人都会有一样的军用牙杯和军用毛巾。班级里以前只有扫把、拖把，现在还多了一个多媒体班级。现在的楼栋颜色都变成了绿色的。不久我们的校服也将换成了军装。还有食堂也变了，以前的菜只有几样，现在食堂改成了用卡刷，而且菜变的有很多种可以让我们选，这也特别的不错。我们学校的名字当然也改了，现在它是军事化管理学校。

每一个人的成绩都是有变化的，我的英语成绩与以前比起来，也有了很大很大的进步。

记得三年级的时候，我们准备英语期末考试，我便很得意扬扬地对我的英语同桌说：‘没事，怎么都会考一百，所以不用那么紧张！我的同桌听了我一番话心里也有一点骄傲，滴滴。上课了，看见老师手里拿着一张试卷，我心里很激动拿到试卷后，我用了利剑一样的速度把卷纸写完了，看了一眼，就玩起了笔来，等老师叫传试卷时，我急忙把试卷传给了上一个同学，心里还很得意。等老师公布成绩时，我的心却像揣着一只兔子，七上八下的。当老师念到我时我的心像要从嗓子眼里跳出来，突然，我听到了山崩地理的响声：杨瑞，89分！我的脸一瞬间变成了一个红苹果，心犹如春天里刚绽放开的花瓣就被春风吹散了一样。

经过了这件事之后我意识到我的英语成绩并不理想，还需要勤奋学习才行。我上了英语补习班，每节课，我却认真倾听，课后认真读单词，读课文，现在我每一次英语考试都能考上95分以上，有时还能考100。我知道了做什么事情一定要努力，不能盲目自信。
