如今，我们的居住环境有了很大的改变。我专注地想，看看这些高楼大厦，看看这些大街小巷，看看这些商场超市，这些“新花样”便利了我们多少呀？想着想着我的脑子里就浮现出了我们以前的房子遮不住风，挡不住雨的凄惨画面。

“今晚要下大雨刮大风了！”听到这句话，大家像老鼠一样满世界乱蹿，老人们也紧锁眉头。“我们这小平房，也只是个能睡的地方，哪能挡的住这大风大雨呀！”大家你一言我一语的，总的是说房子和风雨的问题。是啊，原来的小平房不仅小，而且质量也不好，只有大富豪才会去住那豪华的房子。上学的时候，那泥泞的地溅得人们满身是泥。唉，那又能怎样呢，只有坚持呗。不过，有一天我听到一个好消息，说国家要帮助我们建大房子了，听到这个消息，所有人像吃了兴奋剂似的蹦了起来。

看那风景秀丽，再看那高大的楼房。我们现在的房子是又高又大呀。高，是几个房子“摞”在一起，一层一层的，占地面积就小了许多。大，是每一个被“摞”起来的房子都是又宽敞又明亮。房间里是大床、电视、衣柜，如今，又安上了机顶盒。天气预报报道有大雨大雪时，孩子们、老人们也不再哭丧着脸了，而是兴高采烈的，因为可以在楼上观雪景啊。而我也和那些人一样在房间里“大闹天宫”呢。街道也变得宽敞了，干净了，不再是那泥泞的土地了。哈哈，我们也不用羡慕那些大富豪了，我们吃的、喝的、住的都一样。看到这些，我心里不由得激动起来，都说世界变的快，而且还越变越好。原来还不以为然呢，现在可真是见识到了。

我们的一切都源于政府，源于国家，所以我们要好好学习，回报祖国。
