人们的饮食也发生了很大的变化。以前，人们很少有吃饱的时候，而且只能吃一些蔬菜粗粮，吃肉根本就是奢望，只有在过年过节时才可以见到一点肉，营养也不均衡。现在不同了，我们的饮食多种多样，有新鲜的蔬菜，精心制作的面食，肉食更是繁多，而且蔬菜追求绿色、无公害，肉食追求新鲜，还有许许多多以前人们想都不敢想的山珍海味。有些人还有自己的营养师，一天食肉不宜过多，食盐不能过量等等，减少了人们因为饮食而患病的几率。

人们的生活环境也有了很大的改善。以前，人们都是住一些破旧的小平房，而且下雨时，也经常是外面下大雨，里面下小雨。还只能一大家子人挤一张床。现在就不一样了，人们都住上了宽敞舒适的楼房，每个人都有自己的小空间，而且经常看到有老奶奶在社区里跳舞，老爷爷在下棋，还有很多的健身器材。人们有了电视、电脑，生活不再枯燥无味，一家家超市使人们的生活更加方便。

我们的出行也更加便利了。以前的人们，出行大多都是靠步行，自行车也很稀少，极其不便利。现在变化可大了，大街上车水马龙，几乎家家都有汽车。而且有公共汽车，地铁等公共设施，出行特别便利。

农村的变化也是不可小瞧的。看，以前那些破旧的茅草屋都不见了，变成了现在宽敞明亮的砖瓦房。以前的泥泞小路也不见了，变成了一条条四通八达的柏油马路。以前的人们上学，都要到很远的地方，现在，每个村庄都有幼儿园和学校，解决了孩子的读书问题。变化最大的是人们种植农作物都用上了机械化，有播种机、收割机、脱粒机等，人们还学会了绿色温室大棚，节能灌溉、无土栽培等新技术，使人们又省时又省力。

当我们处在衣食无忧的生活中时，一定不要忘记，有许许多多的人为了今天，献出了青春，献出了他们的生命。我们应该努力学习知识，长大后建设祖国，让祖国有更美好的明天。

我七岁那一年，我家周围的花儿长得很美，草儿长得又嫩又茂盛，有些草迫不及待的从地里探出头来，小树长得是一天比一天壮，一天比一天高，河水很清很清，清得能看见河底，清得能看见小鱼小虾游来游去。

一年之后，小花小草枯萎了，大树也渐渐的消失了，就连小河都绿得发黑，远远就能闻到一股臭味，简直是臭气冲天，从那里经过的人都要憋一口气过来。我就从那时起，就开始寻找污染线索。

我就一直找，找到我10岁，才找到了三条线索，第一条线索是：人们觉得车停在地下停车场很麻烦，就停在了小花小草的身上，时间长了，小花小草都被车压死了。

第二条线索是：人们大量的乱砍滥伐，破坏树木的生长。

第三条线索是：人们随手把垃圾扔在小河里面，使小河污染了，水慢慢变得发黑、发臭。

我就和小伙伴们做了一个牌子，上面写着是：“请不要把垃圾扔进小河里。”过了一段时间小河比以前要好多了。牌子起作用了。

请大家记住，我们怎么对待大自然，大自然就会怎样对待我们。

“光阴似箭，日月如梭”，时间过得真快呀！不知不觉家乡发生了巨大的变化，不信你看！

记得几年前，我和爸爸妈妈回到故乡，那里故乡的路是泥路，沆沆洼洼，每到下雨的时候，路就变得脏兮兮的，到处是垃圾，路的两旁都没有垃圾桶。每当夜幕降临人们外出的时候，都会拿着手电筒，爷爷奶奶住的还是茅草屋呢，台风来临时，都会把爸爸奶奶的茅草屋刮倒。小河里的鱼都死了，水面还有许多垃圾袋，臭死人了，秋天到来时，人们拿着镰刀弯着腰在收割……

这次回家，过去的路变成了宽阔的水泥大路，路的两旁现在有了许多的垃圾筒，还有了路灯。爸爸奶奶们的房屋地变成了高楼大厦，小河鱼虾成群，鱼儿们又有了清澈的家园。人们都不用镰刀收割稻子了，用的是收割机，人们在空地上建了一个广场，每天吃完饭，一有空闲就会到那里唱歌、跳舞、下棋等等。

短短的几年里，家乡发生了如此惊人的变化，我更爱我的家乡了。

One of the most serious problems man is facing is pollution. The poisonous waste may do harm to the things around us. The air pollution can bring death to some people and kill trees and vegetables. Very loud noise can make people ill, hurt their ears or even drive them mad. So we have to realize the harm done to man by pollution. We must try our best to fight against pollution. I’m sure some day we’ll win the battle.
