我们生活的城市，是一个漂亮的城市。人们常说成都是一座来了就不想走的城市，这些年来，我们深深地感受到了成都的变化十分巨大。

我们的城市变得越来越漂亮。一栋栋高楼大厦拔地而起，一座座立交桥连接着四面八方。马路上，以前汽车三三辆辆，而现在却车水马龙，一到节假日，出城的汽车就排起了长龙，很可能就会被堵在城里。以前，城郊没有修马路的地方，到处都是泥巴和灰尘，现在逐渐都变成了宽敞的马路和成片的绿地，让人赏心悦目。

光阴似箭，日月如梭。一转眼，我已经从一个不懂事的孩子长大为一个四年级的小学生了。不只是我，我的家乡也发生了巨大的变化。

随着我市经济的发展，家乡变得越来越美了。其中，变化最大的是民主路了。民主路是我市的中心街道，过去，这条街叫沥清路，由于人多车多，路面已经坑坑洼洼。每逢雨天，街道就积满了水，汽车驶过，泥水飞溅。晴天，车辆经过，尘土飞扬，呼吸呛鼻子。街道两旁的商店参差不齐，屋顶上全是破破烂烂的瓦片。

现在，在政府的重视下，已经把民主路重新修建，修成了一条现代化的步行街。街道的地面铺上了美丽的大理石砖，平整光滑，非常美观。街道中间，每隔一定的距离，就有形状不同的花坛，花坛里种着各种各样的花草，花坛里种的最多的是菊花，菊花粉得像霞，白得像雪，黄得像金……非常美丽，把街道装饰得更加美丽动人。街道两旁的商店，门面进行统一的装修，建筑风格独特，古色古香，美丽极了。

在我的记忆里，几年前家乡娄底还是一座人口稀少的小城。可近几年来却有了翻天覆地的变化！

工作环境

看！我们现在的市政府，告别了以往的砖瓦式建筑结构，全部采用预制件构造，引进了白宫式的欧美建筑外形。灰色的墙壁，圆圆的顶，顶上一根长长的避雷针，真是别有风味！同时规划出大片的绿化带，开阔的广场。市政府大楼后面还利用了一个天然的小山丘设计了一个自然风光带。工作之余，看一看绿色，欣赏一下风景，在小丘上走一走，这才叫真正的劳逸结合，也是一种莫大的享受！其他各单位的工作环境也同样起了翻天覆地的变化！

居住环境

休闲环境

要说茶余饭后最好的休闲场所，非娄星广场莫属了。远远的你可看到广场的大屏幕，里面播放着各种节目和风趣的小品，而屏幕下方，总能看到一张张开心的笑脸。广场中央有一个很大的人工湖，晚上还可以看到美丽的喷泉。市民们跟据自已的喜好在广场上开场各种活动，有跳各种舞的，有搞各种运动的，有练书法的……应有尽有。我问一名在跳舞的老太太感觉怎么样，老太太一边跳舞，一边笑答：“这叫艺术，这叫热爱生活！”

With the improvement of our living standard, more and more people can afford a car. As a result, our roads are more often than not crammed with cars. 曾经，我们的国家虽然没有那么发达，但是污染程度远远低于现在。池塘里的水也是清亮的，里面有很多青蛙，鱼，螃蟹，乌龟。还有那山里的各种野生动物，随处可见的绿树。但是现在，我们国家的工业虽然发展起来了，但是环境真是乱得一发不可收拾。随处可见的堆积成山的，身上散发着恶臭的污水。据说，十年间世界上有1.5公顷森林消失了，按照目前森林面积减少的速度，十年以后，一些东南亚国家就难见到一棵树了。

经过那些叔叔们的整治，村里的垃圾堆不见啦，而且在固定的地方砌了放垃圾的槽位;附近的小溪流不再脏气熏人，变得清澈见底了，偶尔还能见到小鱼儿自由自在地游来游去呢;路边两旁的杂物也消失了，更让人欣慰的是种上一些花草，微风一吹，它们时不时会跟你点点头;最让感到恶心的是那些粪土，现在也消失得无影无踪了，听我爸说那些叔叔们在村里建成好几个公共卫生间，而且每天有专门的人进行打扫清洗。最最让我们小孩子高兴的是，我爸说过的那个公园也建成啦，听说县里一位领导给它取个名为：水云涧。水云涧环境相当地优美，有花有草有树，又有水，绿树悠悠，鸟语花香，那些叔叔们除了在水云涧公园种花种草外，还建起一座凉亭，摆上了很多石凳，甚至安放了一些健身运动器材，多好啊!现在每到傍晚，水云涧公园人群滚滚，不仅成为我们小孩子的乐园，也成为村里大人们休闲的场所。

在那里，我经常听大人们在说：还是咱党和政府的政策好呀，看看，这次村容的整治，使我们后园的环境全变了，我做梦都没想到会变得这么快，这么好呀!以后，我们一定要多多支持配合政府的政策，他们是为咱老百姓的生活着想呀!是呀!我是小孩子，虽然不是懂太多，但是村里环境的变化我可是亲眼目睹的，我心里也暗暗地高兴：感谢这次的村容整治，让我家乡环境变得如此美丽!

Its our duty to protect our environment.Where do we live?The earth.The earth is the only one place we live in.So you know how important the environment is.

But now,some people are harming the environment,like cutting down trees,drawing pictures on public walls,littering onto the ground.Its terrible if we still do it.

Now,its time for all the people in the society to protect the environment.Its our duty.It needs each of us to make a contribution to improving the environment.We should make our environment more and more beautiful.
