我们生活的城市，是一个漂亮的城市。人们常说成都是一座来了就不想走的城市，这些年来，我们深深地感受到了成都的变化十分巨大。

我们的城市变得越来越漂亮。一栋栋高楼大厦拔地而起，一座座立交桥连接着四面八方。马路上，以前汽车三三辆辆，而现在却车水马龙，一到节假日，出城的汽车就排起了长龙，很可能就会被堵在城里。以前，城郊没有修马路的地方，到处都是泥巴和灰尘，现在逐渐都变成了宽敞的马路和成片的绿地，让人赏心悦目。

我们的城市变得越来越富足了。一到街上，繁华的超市里挤满了购物的大人、小孩；香飘飘的五星级酒店里连个空位的影儿都没有。以前，学校总是又少又远，现在学校到处都可以看见。以前城郊到处都是村庄，现在都变成了一片片的别墅，成为城里人生活的乐园。在这里本身只用卖五角钱的东西，却要买一块五角钱，但是它的质量比其它地方的要好得多，而且颜色也比其他地方的更鲜艳。

我们的城市变得越来越和谐了。人们友好的相处，互相帮助对方，以前有句话是“失朋友易，交朋友难”，而现在人们相处得越来越好，交朋友也比以前容易了许多。

光阴似箭，日月如梭。一转眼，我已经从一个不懂事的孩子长大为一个四年级的小学生了。不只是我，我的家乡也发生了巨大的变化。

随着我市经济的发展，家乡变得越来越美了。其中，变化最大的是民主路了。民主路是我市的中心街道，过去，这条街叫沥清路，由于人多车多，路面已经坑坑洼洼。每逢雨天，街道就积满了水，汽车驶过，泥水飞溅。晴天，车辆经过，尘土飞扬，呼吸呛鼻子。街道两旁的商店参差不齐，屋顶上全是破破烂烂的瓦片。

现在，在政府的重视下，已经把民主路重新修建，修成了一条现代化的步行街。街道的地面铺上了美丽的大理石砖，平整光滑，非常美观。街道中间，每隔一定的距离，就有形状不同的花坛，花坛里种着各种各样的花草，花坛里种的最多的是菊花，菊花粉得像霞，白得像雪，黄得像金……非常美丽，把街道装饰得更加美丽动人。街道两旁的商店，门面进行统一的装修，建筑风格独特，古色古香，美丽极了。

每当夜幕降临的时候，街道两旁的玉兰花灯放出灿烂的光芒，把街道照得如同白昼，人们从四面八方聚集到这里来，逛街、购物，真是热闹非凡。

现在的民主路，是我们市最美丽、最繁华的一条大街。我希望它明天变得更加美丽、更加繁荣富强。

在我的记忆里，几年前家乡娄底还是一座人口稀少的小城。可近几年来却有了翻天覆地的变化！

工作环境

看！我们现在的市政府，告别了以往的砖瓦式建筑结构，全部采用预制件构造，引进了白宫式的欧美建筑外形。灰色的墙壁，圆圆的顶，顶上一根长长的避雷针，真是别有风味！同时规划出大片的绿化带，开阔的广场。市政府大楼后面还利用了一个天然的小山丘设计了一个自然风光带。工作之余，看一看绿色，欣赏一下风景，在小丘上走一走，这才叫真正的劳逸结合，也是一种莫大的享受！其他各单位的工作环境也同样起了翻天覆地的变化！

居住环境

除了工作环境外，生活环境也是与时俱进。瞧瞧娄底的“东方豪苑”你就知道了。栋栋高楼以递进式座落在娄底文化广场的附近，视野开阔，外形美观，里面的绿化和布局也充满了人性化，还有着优质的物业服务。对面文化广场中央有一个喷泉，“东方豪苑”的住宅更是这一美丽景观的最佳观赏地了！其它类似的住宅小区也在一个个拔地而起。就拿我家附近来说吧，三中上空架起了一座新桥，新桥的那边一个个高档住宅小区如雨后春笋般拔地而起，享受良好的居住条件对娄底市民来说已不再是梦想。

休闲环境

要说茶余饭后最好的休闲场所，非娄星广场莫属了。远远的你可看到广场的大屏幕，里面播放着各种节目和风趣的小品，而屏幕下方，总能看到一张张开心的笑脸。广场中央有一个很大的人工湖，晚上还可以看到美丽的喷泉。市民们跟据自已的喜好在广场上开场各种活动，有跳各种舞的，有搞各种运动的，有练书法的……应有尽有。我问一名在跳舞的老太太感觉怎么样，老太太一边跳舞，一边笑答：“这叫艺术，这叫热爱生活！”

在这里，每年秋季还要举行一次菊花展，各种各样的的菊花绚丽多彩！吸引了许多市民来观赏。这样的休闲场所除了娄星广场外，还有石马公园，现在市政还有投资开发珠山公园等。真是享受生活，无处不在。
