在暑假，我做了一件很有意义的事——打工。

暑假，我和姐姐做完了作业，闲着没事，妈妈就建议我们去姑丈那儿打工。姑丈家是做音箱加工的，听说打工有钱赚，我高兴得不得了，以为打工也不是那么困难的一件事，就爽快答应了。

工作是爸爸给联系的——因为《中华人民共和国未成年人保护法}中明确规定，不得招收童工。“威斯堡”快餐店的老板是他哥们儿的哥们儿，他为我安排了帮助客人点餐的工作。(其实在快餐店，这种工作是可有可无的。)就这样我满怀兴奋地开始了打工生涯。

第一天下来很轻松，或许因为是工作日的缘故吧，一整天几乎没有客人，我不得不站在餐桌前，望了一天的风景。

可天下哪有那么容易赚的钱呢?

第二天，我才晓得“威斯堡”的生愈有多红火。因为是周六，一大早，客人就一窝蜂似的拥进来，我也跟着手忙脚乱起来。

原来见生人从来不脸红的我，现在却不知怎么，站在客人面前，手莫名地抖个不停。那是一对中年夫妇带着他们的孩子，那女孩看上去很眼熟，像是我们学校的高年级同学。我偷偷地看着她，她也微笑地看着我。天!她为什么笑?笑我的样子俊吗?算了，不想了，打工光荣嘛!我给自己打了打气，收起平日的粗嗓门儿，细声细气地问：“三位来点儿什么?”这句话说得我自己都肉麻。那叔叔笑了笑：“同志，这儿有热饮吗?”同志?我又一阵高兴，好像一时间成了一个大人。“咦，有的有的，有热奶、咖啡、果珍，您要哪种?”“来三杯果珍吧。”那女孩说。“还要什么吗?”我探身问。“不必了，谢谢!”我来了个90度转弯，为他们端来了热饮，学着别的服务员的样子伸出右手：“请慢用!”一整套看似简单，但对我来说却很复杂的服务程序终于完成了。

客人越来越多，我的动作也越来越不规范。一天下来。往返于吧台与餐桌之间怕也数十次了吧。天!我的腰酸得不得了，眼也花了。

下班后，拖着一身疲惫回到家，发现老妈已做好了一桌子丰盛的晚餐。不知怎的，我的鼻子酸酸的，像受了莫大的委屈似的。妈妈笑着说：“怎么样，打工还好玩儿吧?”老妈呀老妈，您怎么还明知故问呢!我不吱声，却像俄狼一样“风卷残云”了桌上所有的东西，“撑不住了吧，让你爸给你说说，明天不去了!”妈妈半真半假地说。(妈妈故意用激将法。)我推开筷子：“妈，我是不会临阵脱逃的!”

第二天一早，我是第一个上岗……

一周的打工生活结束了，手捧120元的薪水，我感到异常的激动，不仅仅因为我用自己的双手赚得了钱，更在于我成功地接受了社会给我的第一次考试!
