晚上，家里面通常都有吃布丁，三明治，苹果派还有一些其它的甜点作为晚餐。晚饭后，家人们总是围着圣诞树唱歌跳舞。有时，他们还会去教堂。睡觉前，孩子们常常会把长统袜挂在床边，这样圣诞老人就会用礼物把它填满了。据说圣诞老人总是骑着一只鹿到人类，之后从烟囱进入每个房子。现在的孩子不再相信圣诞老人的故事了，但他们仍然会挂上他们的袜子，因为他们的父母会用礼物把它填满。

我爱一年四季，但我更爱夏天。虽然夏天没有春天那么生机勃勃；也没有秋天那么硕果累累；更没有冬天那么大雪纷飞。但它的五彩缤纷更讨人喜欢。

夏天的草地上，盛开这颜色各异的野花，蜜蜂争先恐后地采着花粉，蝴蝶翩翩起舞。蜻蜓也赶来加入这百花争艳的盛会。草地到处是翠色欲滴，好像铺上了绿色的绒毯。这又给碧绿的草地增添了光彩。

夏天的公园里景象万千。月季花像穿着粉红色衣裙的少女。

在绿叶中翩翩起舞。河水就像一位仙女，在弹着钢琴。发出“叮叮咚咚”的响声。站在树梢上的小鸟，听到琴声，也跟着唱起了美妙的歌声。演奏出了极美的乐曲。

夏天的学校里，树木郁郁葱葱的。特别是那棵大杨树，像一把撑开的绿绒大伞。每到夏天的时候。它的枝叶长得非常茂盛。同学们都爱到这里来乘凉。也爱来这儿做游戏。

夏天，荷塘里布满碧绿的荷叶，粉里透白的荷花，有桃红，有的含苞欲放，有的昂首怒放，有的显新露粉。荷叶有的卷曲，有的舒展，有的上面还残存着点点雨滴。真是美丽极了。

夏，一个热闹的名字。知了在树上放声歌唱。昆虫们忙忙碌碌，人们摇着薄扇，坐在柳树下乘凉。夏天一会儿晴，一会儿阴，像一个顽皮的孩子。
