夏天的九华山仍然山花烂漫十分美丽，在地势高点的山上，野桃花、映山红等开得很旺，真是“人间四月芳菲尽，山寺百花仍盛开”呀!当山下烈日炎炎，人们吓得躲进空调间的时候，山上却凉风习习，到处是绿树成荫。山上的泉水清澈见底，清凉甘甜，这时候，要是你来到九华山，就像进了天然的空调间，晚上睡觉还要盖被子呢。

山上的夏天很短，秋来却来的很快、很早，有时8月中旬，秋姑娘就开始从山顶悄悄下山了。到了9月中旬，满山红叶，远远望去好似一团团火焰。小路旁，山腰上，到处是金黄色的野菊花，一丛一丛的，散发着淡淡的香气。这时，如果你走在山道上，也许会看到机灵的小松鼠在采摘松果，不过它们一见行人，“哧溜”一下，就见不到影子了。
