我的家乡在东北，那里有一个湖叫“镜泊湖”。

春天，镜泊湖旁的柳树抽出新芽儿了，竹笋也从地里钻出来了。动物们都苏醒了：青蛙爬来爬去，等待夏天的到来;小松鼠跳来跳去，去找吃的去了……

夏天，镜泊湖充满生机。湖的四周镶嵌着各种各样的小石头，石头上还覆盖着嫩绿的青苔。那绿的没有一点儿杂色的草，那悄悄开放着的花朵，给镜泊湖编了个朴素的花环。水是那样清，清的能看见湖底的沙粒。水里还有鱼。可能正是因为有鱼，所以引来了绿毛鸭。一只只鸭子抱着屁股往水里跳，青蛙也在荷叶上叫个不停。

秋天来了，枫树掉叶子了。叶子掉在湖的四周，就像一只只蝴蝶。天气逐渐变冷了。青蛙，乌龟，绿毛鸭都回山洞去了。

终于盼到冬天了!下雪了。一阵风吹来，从地平线上漫来一层轻雾。雾重起来，没有多久就下雪了。过了一会儿，就下起了白花般的雪。先是零零落落，后来逐渐扩大，横飞过来，给大地披上了一层“银装”。天地间一片洁白。

When asked about their opinion of career and family, people always respond differently. Some people deem it more important to pursue their career, while there are always other people who argue that family should be the number one in one’s life.

It goes without any question that career plays a key role in our life. In the very first place, career can give us an aim to live on. Without career, much of our living time will be certainly wasted. What’s more, career can provide us with a means to live on. Most of the people earn their income from a job. Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. I was appreciating the beautiful lake when a scene that didn’t go with its harmony came into my eyes. They even threw litter and spat into the water, completely ignoring the sign nearby “No throwing litter into the lake!”

How could they lack public morality so much? I felt sad about them. And I was totally against what they did.

To witness immoral behavior in public, one need only visit the Beijing subway. I still remember the first time I took the Beijing subway. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school.
