Today is Saturday， my family and I go to have a picnicin the park， I feel so excited， because our family does not have the activityfor a long time. It was a very busy evening, I was doing my homework at my home. My father

was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in

Shanghai opera. She was watching a Shanghai opera contest. The apartment was

very quiet. Suddenly the light went out. It was a blackout, but I liked it very

much. It came and I didnt have to do my homework. We went to the living room

very slowly.

After 5 minutes, we all sat in the sofa. It was a lucky, fortunate day. I

said that lets held a concert. My parents agreed with me. I took out some

candles and lighted up. We were singing, laughing and talking. We had a really

good time. But while I was singing, the light suddenly turned on. Oh, my God. My

father went back to his room went on writing.

My mother turned on the TV and said to me “Dear, do your homework!” I felt

very frustrated. I sat at the desk and thought I hated light. I hoped there

would be a blackout the ne_t day. I thought I would enjoy myself more and more.

Today was my friend’s birthday, and I was invited to her birthday party.

The party was so great and the theme was red color. I saw many pictures of Hello

Kitty. They were so lovely. We sang the song to her and played a lot of funny

games. At last, we sent our best wishes to her. We had a great time.

spring is the first season of a year . there are there months in spring : morch , april and may , the weather is warm and windy . it rains a lot . the trees turn green and all the flowers are coming ont . in spring, i can wear my shirts . i often plant trees and go hiking . so i like spring very much . of course , i like the spring festival , too .

hobbies are very important to a person. without having any hobby, life wont be as colorful as it should be. i have a variety of hobbies, such as collecting stamps, playing musical instruments, reading, and doing sport activities.

when i am free, i will spend time on my hobbies. when i am in a blue mood, i will also do my hobbies to cheer myself up. hobbies can help us improve our moods. many hobbies requires devotion. for eample, when you play a musical instrument, you have to practice over and over in order to perform good music.

after a period if you still enjoy it, gradually it will become a hobby of yours. but, remember: a hobby is like gold under the ground; no hobby will come to you unless you dig it out yourself. if you can treat study as one of you hobbies, learning will be more enjoyable. i hope all of you can find your own hobbies and also have fun from them.

I was born in 1968, and I went to school from 1973 to 1988. In 1987 I took the General Certificate of Education, and I got good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After leaving school, I attended the Orient Technical College, where I first studied Fiber Technology and Color Chemistry; later I studied other subjects related to textile manufacture, and in 1991 I obtained the Diploma in Textiles.

After completing my studies, I joined the Top Clothing Company where I worked until 1996. In that year I moved to Prior Productions, who was pleased with my work, and as a result, in 1998, I was promoted to Assistant Works Manager there.

I enjoy my work, and I am prepared to work hard. Moreover, I am sure that Prior Productions would give me an excellent reference. I therefore feel that my application deserves your serious consideration.

My hometown used to be a backwardplace, because it was deep in the

mountains, where there were no nice buildingsand the roads were so narrow and

dirty. People lived a poor life.

While in recent years, with thedevelopment of society, my hometown has been

Now the roads aregetting much wider. There are many different cars and

buses running on theroads.

Trees and flowers are planted on the two sides of the roads.

They canprovide us with oxygen and fight against the pollutants. So the sky

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double FifthFestival, is celebrated

on May 5th on lunarcalendar.It is a folk festival widely spread with ahistory of

over 2,000 years, and is one of the mostimportant Chinese festivals as well.

There are variouscelebrating activities on that day, among which the customs of

eating rice dumplings anddragon boat racing are quite important.There are many

legends on the origin of the DragonBoat Festival.Some people think it is to

commemorate the poet Qu Yuan, while others say it isto be in honour of Wu Zi_u,

a famous general during the Warring States period. However, thelegend of Qu Yuan

spreads most widely. People appreciate highly the noble sentiment andprominent

talent of this patriotic poet and are very sympathetic with the ending that

hecommitted suicide by drowning himself in a river.

I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

在在以前呢，日月广场就是个脏乱的地方的代名词，不管是大路或小路，都是那么高低不平，一不小心，就会摔倒，我们这些年轻人，虽然金城广场以前建设了很多大草坪，但是人们乱踏草坪，很多小草都被踏死了，如今，大草坪被去掉了，而是栽上很多树，人们也踏不到了，路也重新修了，广场铺上一片片新砖，路也平了，国旗边上还铺了一些鹅卵石，还铺成小花的形状：更重要的是，广场上添加了许多器材，健身滴。

坪街的老房很破很破，砖从黄色变成了黑色，砖的菱角边早已磨损了，露出里面的那些石子，从低处向上看，房屋上的瓦片已经烂得不成样子，房子都很矮，只有两三米这么高，忻州市只有水利大厦有十七八层高，现在，人们有钱了，平街的老房很多都拆了，盖成了高楼大厦，宏伟的建筑，比如：日月大酒店、五台山大酒店、移动通信大楼，等等。有好多好多都没说呢，这些说起来只是冰山一角，如果你有机会去了忻州，就会发现我所言不假。

长征路以前是个黑漆漆的地方，没有灯，人走在那条路上会害怕，并且规划很乱，一不小心就会摔个四脚朝天，现在规划也好了，夜晚还有很多灯在亮，五颜六色的，真美丽，况且现在被誉为是忻州最繁华的街道了。

家乡的变化多大呀!我爱我的家乡，更爱育我的地方。

二十年没有回家乡了，现在终于可以回去了，我在外面有了很大的成就，开着一辆林肯加长，还有司机，回家乡。

在路上，我一直在想过了二十年，家乡会是怎样的呢，房子肯定有几层，几十间房间，铺上了水泥路，家家都买了电脑，每个人都有QQ号，家家都买了车，不知道家人们还认识我不，一到院子门口，我很惊讶，竟然和我想象的差不多，我都找不到家了，在院子里绕了好几圈还没找到我家，我不耐烦了，拿出手机打电话外婆，外婆叫我老姐出来接我，老姐还在远处，我一眼望去，看见一个女的，就知道是我老姐，不愧是家人。

我一进家，就问我哥：“那条小溪还在吗?”哥说：“还在，你自己去吧，还在原来的地方!”我找啊找，终于找到了。一看，这条小溪还是那清澈见底，溪的两岸还多种了好几十棵垂柳，柔软的柳枝，随风飘动。那婀娜的舞姿，实在太美了。当它垂在水面时，水鸟站在它的腰上唱歌，流水也唱和着，发出悦耳的声音。又美又柔和。村庄被潺潺地环绕着。吃了午饭，又要告别了。我依依不舍的离开了家乡，边走边说：“有时间一定来我家玩啊!”

转眼间20年过去了，我从一个小学生成长为一位画画很好的画家。

有一天，我在电脑上浏览网页。突然，屏幕下方出现了一行小字，我把头伸向前面，仔细阅读起来，原来这是我童年时的玩伴给我发的信息。上面写着：“你很久没有回家乡了吧，快来看看吧，变化非常大！”是呀！20年没回家了，该回去看看了。于是，收拾好行李，买好了机票，踏上了返回故乡的旅程。

下了飞机，我走在飞机场里，发现每一个人都能文明用语，脸上都浮现着幸福的笑容。没有人再为追时尚，而把中国人的黑头发，染成外国人的黄头发；也没有人把本身的“人味”，换成“香气十足”的香水，就算有，也是淡淡的清香。人们都不在追求“外表美”了，而都在追求“心灵美”。

坐上了出租车，我被外面的景象所吸引。哇！座座高楼都被绿色所覆盖和衬托，那碧绿茂盛的枝叶，不仅为楼里的人们遮住了炙热的阳光，又为城市绿化和美化了环境。街道上屁股后面冒黑烟的汽车没有了，人们不是骑自行车，就是开电动车去上班，空气变得清新了。整个城市变成了绿色的海洋。

我希望，真正的20年后，不是现在的幻想，而是实实在在的现实。

It was October 12th yesterday. My friends held a birthday party for me. In

the morning, they came to my home early, and they brought many presents for me.

I liked them very much. I invited them to the KTV, we sang songs, danced and

played games. About 5:30 p.m., we went my home. My mother had cooked a delicious

dinner for us. After dinner, we watched TV and at about 8:30 p.m. we ate

birthday cake. There were fifteen candles on my birthday cake. I made a silent

wish, and then I blew the candles out in one breath. I had an interesting

birthday party. We had a good time in the party. I was so grateful to what they

did for me.

就在祖国生日的前几天九月二十五日，中国就“神舟五号”发射成功后，“神舟七号”载人飞船又要起飞了，中国的航天技术又迈入新的里程碑，航天载人技术在世界的前列，我们的祖国是多么的神奇，多么的有智慧!

祖国呀!我的母亲，我相信你在中国三十六个民族的保护下，一天天变得更美丽，更年青。我爱我的家乡，我更爱我的祖国!

我曾听爷爷讲起过他们过去的生活情形。我像听神话一样，简直不敢相信他所描述的一切。自从爷爷提出改革开放政策以来，我国的经济得到了突飞猛进的发展，人们的生活有了翻天覆地的变化。

以前，人们吃不饱，穿不暖。人们天不亮就起床，每天面朝黄土背朝天在地里干活，却无法改变饥寒交迫的命运。有多少人冻死、饿死。可如今，单单就老年人来说，他们每天不仅享受着儿女们无微不至的照顾，而且回家还为他们提供各种生活补贴和娱乐场所。每天清晨或黄昏，他们成群结群队在公园里唱歌、跳舞，过着充实而又快乐的生活，年轻人的生活更是五彩缤纷，幸福甜蜜。如今，我们使用的高科技的玩具真叫五花八门，眼花缭乱。比如电脑、自行车、滑板，溜冰鞋等等，数不胜数。小型玩具那就更多了，家里到处可见，随手可拿。

乡村、街道、建筑全都变了。以前的乡村，到处都是泥泞不堪的小路，现在全是焕然一新的宽阔平坦的水泥路，以前老土的吊脚楼变成了小洋房。街道上歪七倒八的低矮的瓦房换成了整齐的金碧辉煌的高楼大厦；以前昏暗的煤油灯变成了明亮的节能灯；以前的人力车变成了小轿车……

我爸爸小的时候，每天上学要走三十多里路，一不小心，就会踩到稀泥里。学校建筑全是泥瓦房，只有一层楼，教室的地面也是坑坑洼洼的，连书桌都放不稳，要用石头塞。而如今呢，我们坐在宽敞明亮的的教室里，油光滑亮的书桌还可以上锁，电视、电脑设备齐全，课本是精装彩本，连用的笔都是水晶的。

啊！一切都变了！

我们生活在幸福的蜜罐里，我们被保护在花园里，我的生活充满朝气与阳光，我们的祖国在发展，在变化，在腾飞！

二十年后的宁波，别有一番情趣。

你看，悠悠的蓝天，甜丝丝的空气，到处是鲜花，到处是绿树，让人耳目一新，使人神清气爽。二十年后的交通不像现在这么拥挤。有一种光速飞碟成了人们常用的交通工具之一。未来最有特色的还得数我们的住宅了。我，住在星际大楼的九千九百九十九层楼。进入大楼得有讲究，你必须把手放到门柄上，门禁系统会自动识别指纹，判断是否应该开门。进入屋内，你会发现屋里空空如也，只有一只超智能感应的遥控器。实际上，屋里一应俱全，你想要什么，只需轻轻一点，它就会立刻呈现在你眼前十分方便。你会说：“如果发生危险了，怎么办？”没事，大楼会保护我们的。如果发生火灾，大楼会启动自动灭火功能；如果发生地震，大楼就启动“千斤重”功能，怎么震也震不倒；如果……

我的家乡在南阳的西峡县，我们的家乡天上地下都是宝。有地上的南阳玉，地下的恐龙蛋，但是我还是觉得树上的猕猴桃最好吃，也最有营养。

在古时候李时珍曾说过：“猴桃，其形如梨，其色如桃。”下面，我就向大家介绍一下我家乡的猕猴桃吧！我们家乡产的猕猴桃外形各异，有圆形的，有椭圆的，有似乎像正方形的等等，猕猴桃的果肥汁多，清香新美，酸甜各异。当你一剥开猕猴桃你就会看到那绿色的果肉，果肉里夹杂着黑色的黑籽，像是绿色的大海里的黑珍珠，让我垂涎欲滴。当你咬一口猕猴桃，那酸甜的果肉进入到你的嘴里，吸一吸、嚼一嚼，甘甜无比。你会感觉到生活中还有如此好吃的人间美味—猕猴桃。

猕猴桃不但味道好，而且还非常有营养。猕猴桃里含有维生素C、维生素E、维生素D等等。猕猴桃还含有抗氧化物质，能够增强人体的自我免疫功能。对人的身体十分有利，让我们的生活充满里健康，充满里活力。
