Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. When a person decides to own a dog, he should be prepared to care for it properly. For a dog to stay healthy it must be correctly fed and adequately groomed, and its medical needs must be met. The wild ancestors of all dogs were hunters. Wolves and other wild relatives of the dog still hunt in packs for their food. Dogs have retained the urge to be with the pack. This is why they do not like to be left alone for long. Some breeds of dogs still retain the hunting instinct.

Dogs exist in a wide range of sizes, colors, and temperaments. Some, such as the Doberman pinscher and the German shepherd, serve as alert and aggressive watchdogs. 由于人类对环境的破坏，和动物栖息地的丧失等原因。地球上濒临灭绝动物的数量正在以惊人的速度增长。以前没有汽车和飞机，鸟类平均每300年灭绝一种，兽 类平均每8000年灭绝一种。但是自从有了汽车和飞机以来，地球动物灭绝的速度已经超出自然灭绝率很多倍。全世界许多的植物，哺乳动物，鸟类，爬行动物， 两栖动物，鱼等等，都在濒临灭绝的动物中，有是受到过度开发的威胁，许多野生动物因为“皮可穿、毛可用、肉可食、器官可入药”而遭灭顶之灾。大象的牙、犀 牛的角、老虎的皮、狗熊的胆、小鸟的羽毛、海龟的蛋、海豹的油、藏羚羊的绒……更多更多的是野生动物的肉，无不成为人类美食，大量捕杀地球上最大的动物： 鲸，就是为了食用鲸油和生产宠物食品;惨忍地捕鲨鱼，这种已进化4亿年之久的软骨鱼类，只是为品尝鱼翅这道所谓的美食，其他的都不要。人类正在为了满足自 己的利益(衣服时尚、炫耀自己、看动物表演取乐、满足美食之欲)，而去剥夺野生动物的生命。人类良心的失去，加重着世界的灾难。旅鸽曾有几十亿只，是随处 可见的鸟类，大群飞来时多得遮云蔽日，殖民者开发美洲100多年，就将这种鸟捕尽杀绝了。

流浪的小动物也很可怜，天气要冷了，看着小狗小猫在马路上漫无目的的乱跑，眼看跑到机动车道，让汽车压倒，受到惊吓，加上冻饿唉，可怜啊。它们就是我们自己一时兴起，而养护不好而丢失或者走失的。更有的人因为自己的兴趣，而去残害或虐待它们。他们也需要我们的关怀和爱护!

设一个动物保护节，我们小朋友可以不去领养流浪的小猫小狗，但可拿东西给它们吃，不要欺负它，不要打它，对它好一点。如果你不喜欢它们，我们也不强求你去喜欢，只是希望你不要虐待它们，好人终会有好报!

我 们一定要好好保护动物，让它们快乐的生活在这个世界上，让它们和人类一起生活。它们也是地球的一员。保护动物、维护动物的生存权利和不受虐待的权利、以及 改善和提高动物的生命条件、饲养水平，坚决反对任何虐待、残害动物的行为。这就是我想设一个动物保护节目的，请大家支持我!

因为，有很多昆虫都对人类有益。比如说：蜜蜂，它很勤劳，每天早上很早就出去采蜜，一次又一次。到了天黑，吃几口蜜糖后，就马不停蹄地对采来的蜜进行加工。蜜蜂的外形并不起眼，生命也很短暂，只有3个月左右;可它一生都不休息，勤勤恳恳地工作，它们对人类毫无所求，却为人们酿造了甘甜可口、营养丰富、可医治病痛的蜂蜜。

还有青蛙，青蛙披着碧绿的衣裳，两只大眼睛，像两颗晶莹透明的玻璃球，它藏在田里，专吃害虫，保护庄稼。它捉害虫的时候两条后腿一蹬，一纵身，敏捷地将后腿一蜷，跳起老高，长长的舌头一伸，就像一个吸尘器一样转眼就把害虫吃到肚子里去了。可是，我们人类却把它们当成美味佳肴摆在餐桌上。

还有许多可爱的动物，我最喜欢的是大熊猫。大熊猫是我国珍贵的动物，妈妈告诉我大熊猫还是我们国家的国宝呢!大熊猫长的很可爱，胖乎乎、圆滚滚的，走起路来一摇一晃的，特别逗人。它的头部和身体都是白色的，只有眼圈、耳朵和肩部是黑褐色的。特别是那一对黑黑的眼圈，长在白白的脸上，像是戴着一副墨镜，加上那笨拙的动作和走起路来东张西望的神情，显得像个小绅士。

你瞧!它们多么可爱，它们是我们人类的好朋友，我们怎么忍心伤害它们呢

水是生命的源泉。人类离不开水，动物、植物也离不开水。我们每天要喝水、用水，不光我们需要水，水里的鱼儿、田里的庄稼、山上的树木等等都需要水。有的人可能这么想：水是永远用不完，爱怎么浪费就怎么浪费，这种想法是不对的，我们应该改变这种想法。

我听妈妈说，在我们城里的这条小河，在她们小的时候河里清澈见底，她们经常在河水里捉鱼、捉虾、游戏玩耍，可是到了现在却到处是垃圾，成了一条干枯的小河。

水与我们每一个人都关系密切，如果没有水，农作物就无法生长，我们就没有吃的粮食和蔬菜了，我们每天洗手、洗菜、洗衣…一刻也离不开水。如果没有水，我们就不能生存。既然水的作用那么大，我们就应该节约用水，从小养成节约用水的好习惯，做到人走关好水龙头、不把垃圾扔到河里…使水能够保持干净。

为了我们大家有一个良好的生活环境，让我们一起携手起来，从我做起，从现在做起，树立起节水、护水的观念，爱护水就是爱护我们自己。

昨天放学时，天气非常炎热，我下楼没看见爷爷，就借同学手机打了个电话，然后我等了几分钟，爷爷就来了。

突然我看到公路上有一个毛茸茸的小东西，是老鼠吗？怎么可能，怎么可能有这么大的老鼠，我又仔细看了看，这小东西正摇着它那蓬松的大尾巴，呀！是松鼠！太神奇了，居然在大马路上看见了松鼠。它好像要过马路似的左顾右盼的，好像不怕人，我们电瓶车走过，也没有引起它的恐慌。这时一辆路虎朝它飞驰而来，我心里一阵担忧，心跳顿时加快，仿佛有什么大事情要发生似的。一瞬间这辆路虎飞快超过我们，也穿过了这只松鼠，一声清脆的咔嚓声传入我的耳膜，是那样的惊天动地，我看着松鼠在半空中翻了几圈又啪的一声掉在路上，就一动也不动，一点生息也没有了。顿时一种莫名的悲伤涌上了我的心头。为一个鲜活的生命逝去而痛心。

也许这个司机是无意的，没有看见松鼠。也许这只松鼠太相信人类了，认为大家都喜欢它，不会伤害它。可以惨剧确确实实在我眼前发生了，难道不能引起我们思考吗？

在我国青藏高原可可西里这个无人区里生活着许多藏羚羊，在修建天路时怕火车影响藏羚羊的迁徙，设计者们想出了在那里架设铁路桥，这样火车在上面过，藏羚羊从下面迁徙，人与自然在这里完美可以结合。这是保护稀有动物的极好例子啊！

在澳大利亚生活着许许多多的动物，动物在马路上走对于这里的人们不足为奇，司机们开车遇到动物还要主动给它们让路。这在当地是人们自觉的行为，体现了他们的爱心，所以在澳洲这块土地上才会有那么多的动物与人和睦相处。他们的行为难道不值得我们仿效吗？

现在的环境越来越好，动物朋友们会随时和我们邂逅。对于那些不期而遇的朋友，我们除了惊喜，当然还要注意保护它们。我们司机朋友在路上，不仅要避让行人，也要避保护它们，这也是我们社会文明社会进步的表现。
