人类大肆开发自然，剥夺了野生动物的生存空间，同时又为了人类的享乐而任意猎杀，导致动物的种类逐渐减少。人们难道一点也不惭愧吗?人类也是动物的一种，所以必须猎杀其他动物作为食物。但是人类却也为了自身的享乐而猎杀动物。例如：用美丽的的豹皮做衣服;用象牙雕刻;用狮头装饰房间;甚至有人以狩猎作为休闲活动，大量杀害稀有的珍贵动物。人类这样为了自身享乐而滥杀动物的行为，确实是应该受到谴责的!

我们都知道动物们是我们人类的朋友，它们和我们共同生活在地球上面，跟我们享受一样的资源，但是现在社会上会有很多虐待动物和宰杀动物的行为，这些行为都是很不好的，我们要懂得保护动物，让他们和我们一起生活在美丽的地球上。

最近新闻上总是会有一些虐待动物的新闻，比如说一个男就把自己怀孕的小猫关在了笼子里，活生生的用热水把它烫死了，我觉得这样都是非常没有人性的行为，既然领养了这只动物，就应该好好的对待他，对她负责，而不是用这样的方式来折磨她，我觉得这样是很没有人性且没有良心的，这种行为也应该受到全社会的谴责。然而这个社会上面这个男人的做法并不是隔离甚至在生活上面有很多人会有这样的行为，他们虽然领养了动物，但是却没有好好的对待动物，反而去折磨他们，虐待他们，让他们受到了不好的待遇，又会受到了摧残，还有一些人会对不是自己的宠物的动物虐待和折磨，比如说有的生气的人就会把流浪猫和流浪狗作为出气筒给他们身上发泄，对待他们殴打他们这些猫猫狗狗就会受伤，甚至会被殴打致死，都是非常残忍的。

老虎是生活在食物链顶端的一种动物，它关系到整个生物链的平衡。因此，保护老虎不单单是保护老虎这么一个物种的问题，而是保护整个食物链完整性的问题。

目前分布于我国的四个老虎亚种(东北虎、华南虎、孟加拉虎和印支虎)中，惟有华南虎是中国独有的。19世纪以前，华南虎曾经广泛分布于以我国东南部为主的国内广大地区。20世纪后，由于自然环境变迁、战乱纷扰及人类活动影响等多方面的原因，华南虎的分布区域不断受到挤压，分布地域面积逐渐缩校直至上个世纪80年代以前，由于捕猎和砍伐森林等活动，使华南虎赖以生存的栖息地受到破坏，华南虎的数量急剧减少。

据以往调查估算，目前中国处于野生状态的华南虎仅有20至30只，养殖在中国动物园里的数量也仅有60只，这仪数量比大熊猫还要稀少。在最近的一次野外考察中，甚至没有发现活的野生华南虎个体，华南虎已接近物种灭绝的边缘。

The giantPanda(Ailuropoda melanoleuca) ("black-and-white cat-foot") is a mammal classified in the bear family, Ursidae, native to central-western and southwestern China. It is easily recognized by its large, distinctive black patches around the eyes, ears and on its rotund body. Though technically a carnivore, the panda has a diet which is 98% bamboo. However, they may eat other foods such as honey, eggs, fish, and yams.

The Giant Panda is an endangered animal; an estimated 3,000 pandas live in the wild and over 180 were reported to live in captivity by August 2006 in mainland China[3] (another source by the end of 2006 put the figure for China at 221)， with twenty pandas living outside of China.[citation needed] However, reports show that the numbers of wild panda are on the rise.

The giant panda has long been a favorite of the public, at least partly on account of the fact that the species has an appealing baby-like cuteness that makes it seem to resemble a living teddy bear. The fact that it is usually depicted reclining peacefully eating bamboo, as opposed to hunting, also adds to its image of innocence. Though the giant panda is often assumed docile because of their cuteness, they have been known to attack humans, usually assumed to be out of irritation rather than predatory behavior.

The Giant Panda has a very distinctive black-and-white coat. Adults measure around 1.5 m long and around 75 cm tall at the shoulder. Males can weigh up to 115 kg (253 pounds)。 Females are generally smaller than males, and can occasionally weigh up to 100 kg (220 pounds)。 Giant Pandas live in mountainous regions, such as Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi, and Tibet. The Giant Panda has an unusual paw, with a "thumb" and five fingers; the "thumb" is actually a modified sesamoid bone, which helps the panda to hold the bamboo while eating. Stephen Jay Gould wrote an essay about this, then used the title The Pandas Thumb for a book of essays concerned with evolution and intelligent design. The Giant Panda has a short tail, approximately 15 cm long. Giant Pandas can usually live to be 20-30 years old while living in captivity.

Until recently, scientists thought giant pandas spent most of their lives alone, with males and females meeting only during the breeding season. Recent studies paint a different picture, in which small groups of pandas share a large territory and sometimes meet outside the breeding season.

Like most subtropical mammals, but unlike most bears, the giant panda does not hibernate.
