There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. 有时即使别人向我借东西还给我时，不经意时也会说声谢谢。因此会有人认为我有问题，可我认为是值得说的：他还记得我的存在，感激他认同我的存在，这点小事还记得。您教会我的感恩的心，我收益非浅――同学的帮助，老师的信任，家长的关怀难道这些还不值得去感恩吗？

原来我们的不快乐并不在于拥有些什么，而在于对拥有的东西的态度，在于是否有一颗感恩的心。

说到您这位慈善家，让我想到了一位坐在轮椅上的伟人DD史蒂芬.霍金。在中国讲学时，一位中学生问他：你的身体到了这样的地步，不觉得难过吗？许多人都在心里责怪这个中学生的无礼，霍金轻轻敲动键盘，传来了电脑合成的声音：我的一个手指还能活动，我的大脑还能思考，我有爱我的亲人和事业稍微停顿之后，霍金又补充上一句：我还有一颗感恩的心。

确实，我们拥有的不都是财富、美貌，而可能是挫折、伤病，它们如同锋利的石头，让我们受到伤害，但只要我们有一颗感恩的心、坚忍的心，所有的苦难最终都会打磨成熠熠发光的宝石DD正是因为伤害，才使蚌孕育出了珍珠！

同霍金一样的不幸者却往往是幸福者，因为他们有一颗感恩的心，也只有他们最了解生命的真谛，像渴望拥有三天光明的海伦凯勒，像如同刘和珍君一样始终微笑着的和蔼的桑兰，像患了脑癌仍渴望生存、热爱生命的好莱坞影星里夫他们无法延长生命的长度，于是尽最大的限度去扩展生命的宽度。在他们面前，我们是否成了生命的苟活者？

在我看来，感恩是项作为人，不，是动物的最基本的情感之一。我们都应由您的教导来处事。感学会恩，和学会感激、学会赏识一样，都是十分重要的情感。没了这些情感，没有了感恩，就是和没有了情感，没有了情感，那不是比动物还差劲，和死了没太大区别。还好您的曾经教导，让我成为了真正的有血有肉的有思想的人。

可是自从那一天――月考后的失落后，您一声不出地离开了我，我也不曾察觉，只是感谢他人的话少了。开始没注意，后来我才发现我不是那么客气了――问完高老师题没说谢谢；妈妈做饭还挑毛病；老爸来给我水也把他赶走了他们的好全忽略了，只剩下对他们的不满，对世界的抱怨。您离开我达半个月左右，但影响我却好似十年之久啊。

感恩同志，对于我，快乐，充实，幸福，特点等全离我而去，也只有幼稚和您陪伴我，对我不离不弃的。难道在这关键时刻，您也不要我了吗？我真的很想您那。我知道，天下没有不散的宴席。他们迟早要离开我的。但是，有些东西是不容许失去的――包括您，感恩先生。

Different students like different ways togo to school. As for me, I like to go to school on foot the most. There arefour reasons.

Firstly, my home is not far away from myschool. It takes me only twenty minutes to get to school. Secondly, the trafficon my way to school is heavy. There are a lot of bikes, buses and cars. I thinkits safe to go to school on foot. Thirdly, I think walking is a kind of sport.It’s good for my health. Finally, I can listen to my MP3 when I am walking.Its fantastic, but a little dangerous.

My favourite great book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Tom Sawyer is a lively and clever boy. He lives with his aunt Polly. His

aunt is strict with him, so he runs to an island in the middle of the

Mississippi River with two friends, Huck and Joe. With Huck, he goes looking for

treasure; with Becky, he gets lost in a cave. And finally Tom and Huck find a

box of gold. Tom is the hero of the story, but there are other important

characters. Becky is pretty with fair hair. Huck is Toms best friend, and Injun

Joe is the bad man of the story.

The theme of the story is to do with children growing up and becoming more

serious.
