This article is about the origin of the Double Ninth Festival. It is said that

there was a pestilence devil in Zhuangnan of the Han Dynasty, which was

is a man named Huanjing in Zhuangnan county. Because Huanjings parents died in

the hands of the pestilence devil, Huanjing wanted to kill the pestilence devil

to avenge his parents. On this day, Huan Jing packed up and went to practice

magic arts with the famous immortal Fei Changfang, hoping to kill the evil

devil. After a long journey, Huan Jing finally found the immortal Fei Changfang.

However, things have not been smooth. After Huan Jing explained his intention,

Fei Changfang refused Huan Jings request. So Huan Jing knelt outside Fei

Changfang for two days and two nights. At last, Fei Changfang was moved by Huan

Jings sincerity and accepted him as an apprentice and taught him various

skills. On the ninth day of September the next year, Fei Changfang reckoned that

the pestilence would enter the southern city again and harm people. He ordered

Huan Jing to give him some dogwood leaves and chrysanthemum wine and send him

back to zhuangnang city. When Huan Jing arrived in Zhuangnan, he took the people

to the mountain, and let everyone drink chrysanthemum wine, and filled the

mountain with Cornus. After that, Huan Jing stood in front of the mountain with

a knife. After a while, the pestilence came as expected. It wanted to go up the

mountain and eat people. Huan Jing stopped him, so they fought together. The

smell of Cornus and dogwood is not stable for a few rounds. He raised a knife

from the mountain. The plague devil was removed, and the people in Nancheng

finally lived a comfortable life. Since then, in order to commemorate September

9, people have designated September 9 as the Double Ninth Festival. On this day,

people will climb high with their families, fill the mountains with Cornus and

drink chrysanthemum wine to pray for themselves and their families. This is the

origin of the Double Ninth Festival on September 9.

I like this legend best, because I think Huanjings persistence and bravery

are worth learning.

whats your plan for dragon boat festival?

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and cant see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi. My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldnt buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didnt make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentines day, April Fools Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, its the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witchs Day in Czech. People burned the witchs puppet so as to welcome spring. After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but Id like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, its really a big project. Then Ill hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I cant finish them before Christmas eve. Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. 三、做到课前预习，课后复习。不管是什么科目我都要做到这一点。在预习中，把不会的字、单词、题目都标记起来，这样上课也好方便问问同学们和老师。在预习语文时，我不仅要学会写和画还要学会读。对于预习语文来说，熟读课文是最重要的一步，最好是把需要背的段落多读一读，读熟了，自然也就会背了。课后复习时，多看看上课记下来的笔记，记忆深刻了，考试就不在话下了。

It was raining when Tom was on his way home. He opened his umbrella and

walked faster. Suddenly he saw an old woman staggering forward with a stick in

Autumn is my most favorite season so I want to enjoy the beauty of such a wonderful place. I do some preparations for this trip. For example, I search the Internet to see the travel raiders and I have known where the most attracting place is and where to live in. I am sure it will be a wonderful journey. There are only several days for the coming trip, but I have been too excited to wait.

Chinese New year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

On New year’s eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch tv New year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on New year’s eve.

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy New year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

New Year in china is an important festival. Nearly everyone thinks highly of it. No matter where people go and no matter how far they go, they will try their best to go home enjoying family time. And no matter what difficulty or trouble they are experiencing, they will put aside for the period of time. In every house, the main atmosphere is happiness. What do people usually do during the New Year time? They will prepare a big meal together on New Year’s Eve. In the following days, they will visit their relatives. On October 1, I did not go out as usual.

Since it was National Day, 61th anniversary of my homeland, like many people, my parents and I just sat in the couch and watch TV.

We didn’t want to miss the program, parade. We were all excited when we saw such beautiful and magnificent scene.

There were so many people gathered together to celebrate the 61th anniversary.

From their smile, I can feel their happy, their proud and confidence.

I feel proud there are many advanced weapons to secure our country.

We, Chinese, are never aggressive. We love peace.

We know how to secure the peace because Chinese is the victim of war.

When I saw 61 flower buses passed through Tian An Men, I am so excited.

I believe our country will have a prosperous future.

新年到了，又过去了一年，接着迎来了一个春节2018年，在这一个春节里我们要干一些有意义的事才可以度过这一个漫长的20xx，让我们大家一起行动起来吧!

俗话说得好新的一年要有新气象.这话讲得真好，在这一个新年里，我有许多想干的事：要把学习学好，成绩理想`把身体锻炼锻炼，让自己的体质变好起来，不要偏食，该吃什么就吃什么，还有不可以乱花钱......就先说学习吧，首先把眼前的寒假作业认认真真得作完，日记老师虽然只布置了六篇，可我要多做几篇，一是为了锻炼自己的写作水平，二是为了让自己练练耐心，我还要多读书,让自己的知识丰富起来,我经常读书,可却像看天书一样,也不做笔记.这样是不行的,这样到头来知识知识没有丰富起来,却只是浪费时间,浪费光阴.等寒假过去以后,我一定要在小学的最后一个学期努力学习,争取当三好学生,不懂就问,我相信一定可以做到的,也请大家相信我吧!

至于锻炼身体方面呢?我觉得自己太没有信心，比如就说投篮吧，我因为个子小所以篮球在我手上连篮筐都碰不到，我练了几遍没有成功，就觉得自己永远都投不进，再练几遍也是徒劳。后来，我又觉得学习反正搞不上去，没有用的，所以，在期末考试中我就取得了不理想的成绩。我以后做任何事都要有耐心`信心，因为只有这样才可以做成功的事。

以后，我一定要按定的计划去做，因为这样才可以取得大进步。
