life" of 12 girls in his clan. Each girl represents a kind of love.

From the stories which are unfolding in the novel, the reader should know

the characteristics of the different kinds of love, and should be able to

distinguish True Love from the other kinds.

True love is acceptance, committal, mutual and without any post conditions.

The love between Lin daiyu and Jia baoyu is considered to be True Love. Just

saying or hearing I love you is not good enough because talk is cheap. Action in

mutual commitment is essential, as we can see in the novel.

We always have dreams. What’s ours dream? Do you know what you exactly

the author about his strong will. In his words, you can find the charm of

In modern society, the problem of heavy traffic has aroused a wide concern.

Concerning with this problem, different people hold different opinions. As far

as I am concerned, to solve this problem, we need to begin with the following

steps.

First, limiting the number of private cars is a significant step to solve

the problem of heavy traffic. Private car occupies a larger space and it is

responsible for traffic jam to a large extent. Less private cars will accelerate

the flow of traffic. Second, it is also a good means to open up the special

roads for buses. By doing this, the phenomenon that the buses block the street

Mooncakes are to Mid-Autumn Festival what mince pies are to Christmas. The seasonal round cakes traditionally have a sweet filling of lotus seed paste or red bean paste and often have one or more salted duck eggs in the center to represent the moon. And the moon is what this celebration is all about. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th month，it is the time when the moon is said to be at its brightest and fullest.

There are two legends which claim to explain the tradition of eating mooncakes. One Tang Dynasty myth holds that the Earth once had 10 suns circling it. One day all 10 suns appeared at once，scorching the planet with their heat. It was thanks to a skillful archer named Hou Yi that the Earth was saved. He shot down all but one of the suns. As his reward，the Heavenly Queen Mother gave Hou Yi the Elixir of Immortality，but she warned him that he must use it wisely. Hou Yi ignored her advice and，corrupted by fame and fortune，became a tyrannical leader. Chang-Er，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. And thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the Moon Fairy.

The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. Mooncakes are usually stamped with Chinese characters indicating the name of the bakery and the type of filling used. They are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. I will soon become a middle school student, which means my life will come

parents go to work so I stay at home alone. I will go out for breakfast. Noodle,

milk and egg are my favorites. Then I go back home to watch TV or meet my

friends. We always have many things to do. My parents would go home at noon so I

three tall buildings in our school. They all have five floors. In the teaching

fourth floor. My class room is on the fifth floor. I am in Class9， Grade 6.

There are five gardens in our school. In the gardens there are many beautiful

what s your plan for dragon boat festival?

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. Some people are willing to celebrate foreign festivals because they like alien culture. And vice versa, foreigners who like China also concern about Chinese traditional culture.

After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve. But I preceive it s a little difficult to draw them in such a hot season.

Nowadays, electronic music is very popular around the world. First electronic music got popular from Lady Gaga, her creative dressing styles caught people’s attention and then people started to notice her music. They fell in love with her electronic music. Unlike rock and roll music, electronic music is more favorable by me. It makes me excited and I am totally lost in the wonderful music. Once my friends and I went to a music festival. There were so many people standing there and listening to the music. Especially when the DJ came out and everybody got excited. When the DJ played electronic music, my friends and I shook our bodies and joined the crowd to dance. It was such a wonderful experience for me. I will never forget the power of electronic music. My dad bought a computer when I was five years old. I could draw pictures

and listen to music on it.

But once, the computer was down suddenly.

My dad told me that it might be attacked by computer virus.
