今天早上起床，我忽然发现床头放着一幅手绘彩画。我觉得非常奇怪。心想，这难道是爸爸妈妈买给我的吗？我连忙拿起彩画跑到爸爸妈妈的房间问他们这是怎么一回事。他们都说不知道，我一边洗漱一边想，于是我想起了昨天晚上和爸爸妈妈一起去吃肯德基，餐厅的阿姨送了我一顶红色的圣诞小礼帽，还祝我圣诞快乐。哦，对啊！今天是圣诞节啊！难道圣诞老人昨天晚上来过了吗？这幅手绘彩画应该是他送给我的吧。我越想越高兴。其实我并不是第一次收到圣诞礼物了，去年收到的是一个魔尺。

我想这圣诞老人也挺不容易的，世界上有这么多的小朋友，他每个小朋友都要送礼物而且居然都了解他们想要什么，这太神奇了！我期待着下一个圣诞节的到来，不知道圣诞老人又会送什么给我呢？而且我一定不睡觉，因为我想看看圣诞老人到底长什么样子，是不是像图片上画的那样有着长长的白胡须，背着个装满礼物的大袋子。

盼望着，盼望着，新年的脚步终于近了。

看晚会。除夕晚上刚吃完水饺，全家人便迫不及待的等待晚会的开始，尽管每年都有晚会，但每次晚会同样能够被小品、相声逗得捧腹大笑，时而陶醉于美妙的歌声中，时而惊叹于神气的魔术……

放鞭炮。今年过年，我买了许多鞭炮，除夕夜十二点整时，我点燃了一大串鞭炮，新年的钟声与鞭炮声同时响起，场面十分壮观。闲来无事，还可以与弟弟放些小擦炮。在大人眼中虽无意思，但这些鞭炮声在我们的记忆中留下了深刻的印象。

过年时，把长辈给的压岁钱攒起来，买些自己需要的东西，感觉真不错!今年，我还学会了一项新本事———包饺子。吃着自己包的饺子，真香!

过年是热闹的，但姐姐告诉我：“年的背后也寄托着厚重的责任，我们又长大了一岁，对于人生应该又多了一份思考。”面对新的一年，如何调整自己，以新的自我面对新的一年。

Today is my birthday. My mother bought me seven small candles and they are colorful and beautiful.

In the evening， I set them in my birthday cake one by one. Many friends came to celebrate my birthday. I was very happy.
