自从上了水老师的第一节语文课后，我发现我逐渐开始喜欢新的班集体了。水老师讲课时课堂气氛十分活跃，她时不时用幽默的语言把我们逗得开心地笑起来，让我们在开心的同时掌握了知识。水老师讲课十分生动，她带我们朗读课文时总是声情并茂，很吸引人，我们上了一节四十分钟的语文课，好像只过了十几分钟。

水老师也很负责任，她每天都要通过校信通把当天的作业发到家长的手机上，提醒家长督促孩子好好完成作业。水老师对我们的学习要求很严格，必须把当天的错题改正确才能回家。水老师还提倡我们多看一些好的课外书，但是绝对不让我们看漫画，她每天在放学之前给我们留二十分钟时间来看课外书。

二班是一个新组建的班集体，我一定要好好学习，天天向上，为我们的新集体添光彩。

I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing

basketball is always my favourite,so some of my classmates and I will form a

small team and play basketball together.Sometimes we may have a match against

some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.

i spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. i used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation i simply could not afford to do so. i would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. though those examinations were still a year away, i had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things i had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. at first i was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later i thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer i could count on endless happy summers to come. with this in mind i then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. i was not at all bored by this kind of life, for i was sustained by a hope.

My friends and I

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didnt go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We havent enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.

It is neither genius nor extraordinary ability that gives us power to deal

with and overcome whatever hardship one is confronted with.2、As in the picture,

the athlete is running, with a determined spirit, towards the finishing line in

order to obtain the gold medal, considered as the symbol of success for any

sportsman.I most like the human is Liu Xiang 。 the famous athlete Liu Xiang

striding forward in the Olympics Games in Athens. Determination is universally

regarded asa highly praised quality. It is neither genius nor extraordinary

ability that gives us power to deal with and overcome whatever hardship one is

confronted with. It is this kind of spirit that enables us to endure the

difficult moments and attain our goals.

The determined spirit gives us light when we are in dark moments and

encourages when we are frustrated. With this quality, no enemy can overwhelm us,

and noobstacles can stand in our way. There are many examples of success being

achieved solely through the strong will of the spirit. As in the picture, the

athlete is running, with a determined spirit, towards the finishing line in

order to obtain the gold medal, considered as the symbol of success for any

sportsman. It is determination that leads to success. ?

It is not easy to cultivate this determined spirit. To do this, we must

establish a firm faith in our actions and be ready to devote ourselves to them.

We must boldly go through trials and hardships to train our will so as to get

rid of the weak points of our moral character. Around us, there are quite a few

people with this intense determination and spirit and set a good example for us

to follow.

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

暑假，我和妈妈来到内蒙古大草原。一下车，阳光明媚，大草原一望无边，草茂密的都有十多厘米，到处绿油油的。草地上牛羊成群，马群在草上飞速的奔跑，一个比一个快。羊群在草地上悠闲地吃着草。

蒙古人个个身怀绝技，骑在马背上飞奔，你追我赶，挤在了一起，不分上下。难怪人们说蒙古人是生活在马背上的，可真名不虚传。

我们向喝下马酒的地方前进，发现地上有许许多多珍贵的肥料，那就是便便。到了下马酒的地方，蒙古人教我们用无名指敬天、敬地、敬祖先，摸在头上，再喝一口。

我们还做了草地飞车，车子在草原上飞奔，有一种独特的感受，就像草原上的牛羊在飞奔。有一段时间我们还和奶牛很近距离的接触，我们看到奶牛在悠闲的吃草。

中午，我们在蒙古包里用蒙古餐，有牛排、羊排……让我们大饱口福。最后，在蒙古人美丽的歌声和高超的呼麦声中结束了我们的午餐，我们也离开草原，踏上了新的旅途。

有句话叫“不到长城非好汉”，我再说一句，不到内蒙古大草原不知道天下美景。不过内蒙古再好也不是十全十美，因为这里的蚊子太多了。

我喜欢内蒙古大草原!

周末，爸爸、妈妈带我一起去了公园。我可高兴了，一路上蹦蹦跳跳的。

一进公园，我就看到有骑大象的。因为我从来没有骑过大象，所以十分兴奋地跑上前，挑了一匹棕色的大象。这头象十分健壮，我牢牢的坐在象头，路上发出“得儿，得儿”的声音。驯象人把我抱上象背，我牢牢的坐着我像一个神气的小骑士，好不得意。放眼四望，啊!公园里的景色真美。我骑着象围着象围公园转了一大圈，小朋友们都羡慕地望着我。我好象坐在小船里，晃晃悠悠地享受着骑象的乐趣。正悠然自得呢!象儿忽然停下来，原来我已到了终点。

我恋恋不舍地下了象背，摸着身上皮肤，看着它那双水汪汪的大眼晴，开心地说;“我再也不怕骑象了”。

这个周末是个快乐的周末，我骑了大象!

I understand your well-respected college offers a number of places to overseas students every year, and I am writing to enquire about the application procedure.

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

Apart from academic work, I have been actively involved in extra-curricular activities. I am Chairman of the English Club and I have represented my school in many inter-school contests.

On the advice of my friends, I have decided to further my studies in England because I wish to widen my horizons and benefit from the scholarly heritage of your country.

I wish to continue to study the above-mentioned subjects at your college in the 2006/7 academic year before I sit the Advanced-level Examinations in England.

1、思想重视的不够

随着各种教学法涌入我国，对我国英语教学影响最大的当数“听说法”和&ldquo,日记;视听法”。这些教学法提倡将英语作为一门工具来对待，侧重学生语言技能的训练。然而，我们在着意于口头技能培养的同时却忽略了书面阅读和写作，在强调语言结构形式的反复操练的同时却忽略了学生语言能力的培养，从而导致教师和学生轻视英语写作现象的产生。

2、写作素材的缺乏

教师对小学英语写作究竟要写些什么缺乏明确的认识。大部分写作练习表现为简单机械的抄写，学生容易完成，老师易于批改，但写作内容与学生生活缺乏练习。

3、母语文法的束缚

小学生刚刚接触英语，在表达的过程中难免受到母语的构词法、语法和思维方式的影响，用汉语的方式组词或组句，以至于出现大量的文法错误，让人啼笑皆非。

Sports benefit me in many ways. Firstly, sports call can make me fit and

strong physically. When taking part in sports, I get the chance to train almost

all parts of our bodies. In addition, sports call can maintain my psychological

well being, Whenever Im in low spirit,aking part in sports can help me forget my

anxieties and worries. Besides, sports can teach me some lessons about life.

Through participation, I can learn that on the playground I not only struggle

for my own self but also fight for my team. Sports teach me to be considerate,

cooperative and optimistic.

I am fond of sports very much. I feel that I not only gain a well balanced

life through going in for sports, but also get more chances to make more

friends, to move closer to nature. Sports add happiness to my everyday life when

I participate in them in a proper way.

My favourite sport is football, as it is very exciting. I play footetball

three times a week. Most often I play it in my school. I feel very happy when I

play football in school with my friends. Sometimes I play football in the

playground near my school.Football is very easy to play. If you play football

very well, you can form a football team to take part in the competition. You may

become a famous football star.

Therefore, football is a very good sport. I think, you can play football,

One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to

a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.While we were walking

along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently.

We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing

(singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty

(beautiful).When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother)

wait (waiting) for us at the door.

每年的十月一日，是一年一度的国庆节，是我们伟大民族母亲的生日，伴随着风风雨雨，我们的祖国母亲已经72周岁了，在这属于中华人民共和国我们伟大的祖国母亲的节日，全国上上下下都在欢度庆祝这一节日。

国庆假期，有很多种度过的方式：有的人选择出门旅行;有的人选择去看一场电影然后再去购物。然而，国庆假期，各个旅游景点都挤满了人，连火车站的队伍都成了一条龙，可谓是走到哪里有时人山人海，乘公交车更是拥挤，打的也很慢，因为国庆嘛，很定是高峰期，堵车堵的肯定很厉害，原本十几分钟就能到的，现在要花上将近一个小时还不一定到。所以最舒服又最倩意的度过假期的方式自然而然就成——宅在家里。

在家能做些什么呢：上网，打游戏，读书，看报，做作业……总之就是找事情做来消磨时间。我选择了上网，在网上看到这样一则新闻：“男子华山求婚，没地方下跪。”看来旅游景区的人还真是多。国庆嘛，不出去也能知道到处都洋溢着喜气，家家张灯结彩，人人心情开朗。不用想也知道，商场，超市，肯定又在搞活动，促销;饭店，宾馆的收入一定十分可观。在网上查找国庆期间天安门广场的热闹场景：红旗飞扬，火红的灯笼耀眼夺目，礼炮声接二连三，国歌声震耳欲聋，一番热闹的场景，是不是又有可拿出相机拍照留念。再查找查找国庆期间长城又是怎样的一幅盛况呢：雄关万里，孤城绝塞，连绵起伏，长城真的是雄伟壮丽，名不虚传那，又可以不不登临着长城的阶梯，心中肯定会想到祖国的光荣历史，心中难免会涌起一丝丝的自豪感。虽然没有亲身去游览，但在网络上游览一番祖国的山水美景，感觉也不错。

国庆节是一个快乐的节日，人民的生活水平在不断的提高，我们在祖国妈妈的怀抱中快乐的成长。相信祖国的明天一定会更加美好!

在这个愉快的暑假里，我又读了另一本有趣的书，这本书的名字叫《淘气包日记》，是意大利的万巴写的，这本书是为孩子们写的，也是为各位家长们写的。

本书记录了九岁顽童加尼诺在快半年的时间里，因为淘气而制造的各种“祸端”：他将邻居家的孩子打扮成了一只猴子挂在树上，成为他“动物园”里的一只动物;他在表演魔术时，差点儿将他姐夫的眼睛用玩具枪射瞎;他把烟火藏进壁炉里，不想却引发了一场“爆炸”;和他的同学贝鲁乔打了一个赌，没想到却发生了一场车祸。

家长要知道，一个孩子淘气不是错，即使犯下了错误也不要着急，只要知错就改，一样是一个有出息的孩子。

作为家长，是孩子的第一任老师，家长的某些不文明的言行举止，都有可能影响到孩子的一生。如果孩子有了错，就应该改正，而不是靠棍棒解决。

大人们也应该懂得，不要把错误都以为是小孩子干的，当孩子做的坏事对家长有利时，就会宽容对待，可要是好心做了坏事，家长就会把所有的过错都归于我，甚至不会有一丝怜悯之情。这本书是我回忆起了小时候我调皮捣蛋的那些经历，从这本书中，我看到了一个天真、调皮、可爱、捣蛋的一个孩子。

从中我懂得了，家长必须走出教育的误区，反思自己的所作所为，对下一代教育要及时，尽心尽力，方法得当，这样才能获得事半功倍的效果。

Nowadays, Hollywood movies dominate the market and many young people take

these superheroes characters as their idols. So some people start to feel

disappointed about the local culture, because they havent seen its essence. As

the world gets globalization, it is in need of building peoples sense of local

cultural heritage.

The preservation of our cultural heritage is the necessary task. The

culture contains the essence of Chinese peoples spirit, which has been tested

by time. When people admit our culture, we will be proud of being part of the

country, so as to enhance the unity and have the desire to make a contribution

to the society. The loss of cultural heritage will destroy a country, which can

be seen in history.

As the young generation faces the cultural shock in the globalization, so

they are easy to deny the local culture, because they know little about it. Thus

school should implant the education of culture and the government has named a

day called Chinese Cultural Heritage Day, in the purpose of advocating the

essence of local culture. When children grow up, they will fight for protecting

the culture.

Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

lose chances. So I practise hard and dare to stand in the stage.

When I was picking up my stuff after school， I saw a dog staring at me at the school gate .I was kind of scary. I thought the dog would bite me when I was going out. But it was not. The dog started to follow me. I was very afraid. I started to run away， but the dog did it， either. Suddenly， the dog ran pass away me. I realized the man in front of me was the owner of the dog. I was relieved.

From then on， as long as a dog stares at me， I will look back to have a look whether there is another person near or not.

I am Happy

Today， the biology class is very different. We don’t need to sit in the

classroom， because the teacher takes us to do activities. We go to a field that

is near our school， and the task for us is to observe flowers. We feel so

excited and finish the task very carefully. It is a good way for us to learn

knowledge. I am so happy.

今天，生物课与平时不太一样，我们不需要在教室里面坐着，因为老师带我们去做活动。我们来到学校附近的一片田野上，我们的任务是观察花朵。我们非常激动，也非常认真地完成这项任务。这是一个学习知识的好方法。我很开心。

Parents love， everywhere. My parents are my favorite people， but also the most let I respect people， thank them for me to raise me， for my life and study.

Since kindergarten， parents began to bid farewell to life easily. Because I have to go to school on time， so they wake me up on time every morning and ready for breakfast， and then send me to school， school， day after day， year by year， three years in a row.
