After eating zongzi, my father took me to watch the dragon boat race. There

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. My native town is X. We have settled down here since my grandfather was a

child. In other words, my family has lived here for more than one hundred

years.

It is a small village. There are about one thousand inhabitants. Most of

them are farmers. The mode of their living is very simple. However, they have

already possessed television sets and refrigerators. They made up their minds to

live a modern life.

Today we visited Red Star Farm.

Early in the morning, we met at the school gate and went there together.

About two hours later, we arrived. On arriving there, we were given a warm

welcome by the farm workers. Then one of the workers showed us around the farm.

We were very glad to see the crops and vegetables growing so well. At noon, we

had a picnic happily.

After the picnic, we enjoyed ourselves in the sunshine. We listened to

music, dancing and singing. Some were talking happily and even two of our

classmates played chess. How time flies! It was time for us to leave though we

didnt want to. It was really an unforgettable visit for us.
