A hundred years ago, you couldn’t imagine the process of taking some frozen fruit and ice from the freezer, adding some low-fat yogurt from a plastic cup and some juice from a can in the refrigerator, and whipping up a low-fat smoothie in the blender!

Our lifestyle is fast, but people still like good food. What new food preparation technology has given us is more choices. Today, we can prepare food that is more convenient, healthier, and of greater variety than ever before in history.

As we know, many people favor theidea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’snot true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonderif my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts,including study, student activities, library and the others.

I have a good weekend. On Saturday morning ,I do my homework. After lunch, I go shopping with my mother. At about five o’clock, I go to play basketball with my friend. Campus life is like flowers, colorful and deeply attracted to the students.

An activity about low carbon living

Currently,my school is launching an activity whose theme is that actions change the world to advocate the low carbon living.

In the activity,we are required to go to school or some other place by bike or by foot as much as possible instead of by bus.And when the Christmas comes,sending e-greeting cards instead of tridional cards of which are made of wood as we know.Besides,we should use both sides of every piece of paper and we should save water as well as electricity.

I believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

7月2日老师打来的电话令我惊喜，心中的千斤石头终于可以稳稳落地，喜讯传遍村落间。人人为我而荣，我应努力奋斗。从那一刻起我已明白，自己不再是一个懵懂无知的少先队员，而是即将成为一名积极进取，健康向上的中学生。

从此，漫长的暑假不在平淡，每天在幻想中度日，时常想象那未来美好的初中生活。

永久像牛一样拥有强壮的身躯，健康的体魄，勇往直前的冲劲儿。用勤劳的双手筑造学习的路基，获得突飞猛进的成果。健康，快乐，幸福的走过中学时代！

永久像深夜的点点繁星一样好奇的眨着眼睛，探索大千世界的奥秘，憧憬美好的未来。

永久像鱼儿一样活泼可爱，尽情遨游，寻找知识的宝藏。

永久像百灵鸟一样能歌善舞，全面发展。

我们是祖国的栋梁，二十一世纪的小主人，肩负重任，我们怎能轻易逃脱？朗诵是我永恒的爱好，继续努力，好好加油，搭建展示的平台，让初中生活更加绚丽多姿，使我们更加出色！施展与众不同的才华，在灿烂阳光的照耀下熠熠夺目！

我在畅想，我希望我的未来更美好，但归根结底它只是幻想。成为现实并不难，天底下没有做不到的事情，只要我们肯努力，永不懈怠。让我们坚信那句话“世上无难事，只怕有心人”。

匆匆忙忙的六年学习生活，因为贪玩，无知，错过了太多，失去了太多，它已无法挽回，令我懊悔不已。但时间无可倒流，记得毕业老师在笔记本上曾经为我写下“学无止境”四个铿锵有力的大字。我会永远记住，这是真理，永远不变的真理。路还长，生命不短暂。小学升入初中只不过是人生中的一个转折点罢了。成绩属于过去，行动属于未来，我将用行动展示学习的风采，展现生命的精彩！

风风雨雨小学六年中，我们历经磨难，当被泥泞摔倒，被坎坷绊倒之时，我们没有退缩，都站起来了，因为我们坚强！今天，我为我能够坐在华辰中学的教室里感到骄傲与自豪！

为学习付诸行动，提高各种能力。这是我的宗旨，我相信自己，三年的初中生活，我会好好珍惜，赢得老师同学们的信赖，取得更大的进步！

Making Every Day Earth Day

The future of our planet depends on our efforts. What we should do is to make every day Earth Day. Only by taking good care of it every day can we hope to live in harmony with nature.

The word "low carbon" has become the pronoun of 21st century, low carbon is also because now people realize the importance of protecting the environment, to create a word. So I decided to, in the future life, I also want to "low carbon" everywhere, protect our survival homeland.

Everything from the beginning of the trip, I go out less as far as possible to get a taxi, short distance of walking, long distance sit bus. I found that, after a period of time, I will save money, and exercise the body, is the best of both worlds.

Then, we should start from the water. I try to use the laundry water to clean the toilet, mop the floor... Every time to drink water, I will pick up as much as they remember to drink water, not pick up more, save water resources. Slowly, I found that mop and clean, even I can do.

In the end, is the power saving. Brightly lit at night, our family, each room the lights are on, sometimes, no one in front of the TV, TV is still open, waste a lot of electricity. I told mom and dad, the door after you leave the room. Dont watch TV, remember to turn off the television, and less use the computer. In the daytime, can not turn on the light, dont turn on the light. Our family all do that, I believe that our electricity will be a lot less. Two months later, the mother to go for electricity time-consuming, found many degrees less electricity!

I learned from the Internet, in Beijing, people in order to make cars less discharge exhaust, with single and double car that runs on different dates. To develop car free day, also hope you can low carbon life, the protection and preservation of our home!

低碳”这个词已经成为21世纪的代名词，低碳也是因为现在的人们终于认识到保护环境的重要性，才创造出的这个词。所以我决定，在以后的生活中，我也要处处“低碳”，保护我们生存的家园。

一切从出行开始，我出门尽量少坐出租车，距离短的就步行，距离长的就坐公交车。我发现，一段时间后，我既节省了路费，又锻炼了身体，真可谓两全其美。

接着，就要从节水做起了。我尽量用洗衣水来清洁马桶、拖地……每次喝水，我会记着要喝多少就接多少水，绝不多接，节约饮用水资源。慢慢的，我发现，地拖得越来越干净，连我都能照的出来了。

最后，就是节电了。一到晚上，我们家就灯火通明，每个房间的灯都开着，有时，电视机前没有人，电视依旧开着，浪费了不少电。我告诉爸爸妈妈，离开房间后要随手关灯。不看电视时，记得将电视关闭，并且少用电脑。在白天，能不开灯，就不要开灯。我们一家人都那么做，我相信，我们家的电费一定会少不少的。两个月后，妈妈再去交电费时，发现少了好几度电呢!

我从网上了解到：在北京，人们为了让汽车少排出尾气，有了单双号汽车在不同日期行驶。制订了无车日，也是希望大家可以低碳生活，保护我们赖以生存的家园!
