This change in the global climate would have disastrous results, including drought, coastal flooding and increased species extinction. And, scientists have discovered a hole in the ozone layer. The ozone layer is the only protection for life on Earth against deadly ultraviolet radiation from the Sun. Once the ozone layer is completely destroyed, all life on Earth will cease to exist, killed by the deadly radiation. The planet will become a barren rock devoid of all life.

The protection of the border is not a new problem for us, and our government has long proposed clear targets for governance. As every ordinary person in real life, although it is impossible to work directly in environmental protection, we can start from small things and start from me. + 加入清单“十三五”时期是全面建成小康社会的决胜阶段，环境保护处于既大有作为又负重前行的关键期，也是实现环境质量总体改善的攻坚期。环境质量改善是坚持以人为本、增进人民福祉的重要体现，是生态环境保护的根本目标，也是评判一切工作的最终标尺。改善环境质量、补齐环保短板，需要凝心聚力、开拓前行、共同作为，需要问需于民、问政于民、问计于民。
为此，本报从今年2月起启动 “我为改善环境质量献一策”征文活动，面向环保系统和社会各界广大读者征集可以复制和推广的改善环境质量的好思路、好方法、好措施、好经验。内容可涉及深化污染治理、强化预防措施、严格执法监管、推进改革创新等方面，可以是具体的案例实践，也可以是可操作性强的对策建议。欢迎广大读者积极投稿至gshjzlzw@163.com。
