I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth.

After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mothers car. It takes us more

今天吃过晚饭，我对爸爸说：“爸爸，我们来下一盘军棋吧”！于是爸爸爽快地答应了。

棋局一开始，我用一个司令“单刀赴会”，一下子就把爸爸的“草包将领”干掉好几个。看见棋局已经进入了千钧一发的阶段，爸爸不由得眉头紧锁，果断地派出了一个司令和我的那一个“英雄”司令“同归于尽”，并且，派出了两个工兵把我所有的地雷“全挖了”，但他也有一个工兵被我的一个排长给“终结了”，剩下的那一个则和我的一个工兵“”的时候让他逃走了，我的工兵追到了爸爸的阵营中，和那个工兵“同归于尽了”。爸爸看到自己的两个工兵“误入歧途”，一个“壮烈牺牲”，一个被追到自家阵营里“同归于尽”，爸爸“痛心疾首”，派出了“大队人马”来扫荡，为了安全起见，我用所有的旅长、团长、营长、连长、排长、工兵、和炸弹都来“反扫荡”，结果爸爸的一个排长不小心踩到了我最后一个炸弹，唉，又“壮烈牺牲”了一个。爸爸知道后，“龙颜大怒”，使用了杀手锏“同归于尽战术”，爸爸使用了这个战术后，结果我们两败俱伤，本来在这关键的时刻我可以胜利的，但是被爸爸抢了先机，用一个军长先把的两个师长“全干掉”，再和我的军长“同归于尽”。我以为我们两个打了个平手，可是我没想到爸爸还留了一手，在两个军营各放了一个师长。

所以，这场比赛我自然而然地输了。但我并不气馁，因为失败是成功之母，我相信通过努力，下次我一定会成功的。

if I get more attention from others, I will be very happy. So I start to follow

In the 16th century, people celebrated New Year‘s Day from March 25 to April 1. In the mid—1560s King Charles IX changed it from March 25 to January 1. But some people still celebrated in on April 1, so others called them April Fools.

Each country celebrates April Fools‘ Day differently. In France, people call the April Fools “April Fish”. They tape a paper fish to their friends‘ backs to fool them. When he or she finds this , they shout “April Fish!”

In England, people play jokes only in the morning. You are a “noodle” if someone fools you. In Scotland, April Fools‘ Day is 48 hours long. They call an April Fool “April Gowk”. Gowk is another name for a cuckoo bird.

In the America, people play small jokes on their friends and any other people on the first of Aprol. They may point down to your shoe and say, “ Your shoelace is untied.” If you believe them and look down to see, you are an April Fool then.

Dear Sir,

I saw your advertisement for "the perfect lighter" in Sunday Times last week and immediately sent off a ￡2 postal order and the completed form for the lighter.

Imagine my surprise when all I got in return was a box of matches! I could understand a mistake. I might even pardon a joke. But in this case, your advertisement is a deliberate lie since a friend of mine who also sent the coupon got the same result.

I think its a shame to promise an economical lighter when in fact you are not selling a lighter a1 all. Instead of saying it works quickly, you should admit that you are offering matches. And what about "only" ￡2: I usually pay 10 pennies for a box of matches, and they are often given away free.

I regard your advertisement as a serious deception and demand that you send me my money back immediately. Otherwise I will take active steps to make sure the Consumers Association hear about it.
