当然，最好玩的时候还是包粽子的时候。包粽子时，男人负责把肉切成不大不小的块儿;女人负责洗红豆、糯米之类的;小孩负责把大盆洗干净，再把大人加工好的东西装在大盆里;而老人们则负责指挥。一切准备好之后，就开始包粽子了。大人们干得格外卖力，而小孩们呢?却在一旁玩着，总是在大人们不注意时，偷一两颗蜜枣往嘴里塞，表面上似乎一点儿事都没做，可心里却暗暗自喜——因为蜜枣太好吃了!

最后一步就是煮粽子，烧火的外公总是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很浓，如果在第一时间内吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子总是嫩地流油，看到的蜜枣粽子总是金黄柔嫩;看到的八宝粽子总是很可口，我们可爱吃了。

去年，要不是为了去盐城替舅舅、舅妈照顾表哥，外公外婆可能在包粽子哩。我突然有些“厌恶”舅舅、舅妈，他们家的经济条件不错，为什么不找个保姆?把我的欢乐端午节和粽子都“夺走了”，我好生气呀!也好怀念那味香色美的粽子呀!

记得有一次，我不认真听讲，一直在下面玩，老师说了半天的作文基本知识我一点都没有听到，写作文时就不会写。老师又耐心地教了我一遍，我还是没听进去，只一次又一次地说“我不知道怎样写。”我也不想写。而这时别的同学都写完、批改完回去了。老师批评了我。我发起脾气来，将笔和本子摔在地上。这时刚好爸爸打电话来问我什么时候放学。老师忍不住就说了实话。

不一会儿，爸爸就手里拿着一根竹条气冲冲地来到教室里，他二话不说，照着我的头就打下来，一边打一边把我拉出教室。在走廊里，爸爸脸都气青了，也不管我怎么喊“我不敢了”，只是一阵劈头盖脸地打，边打边说：“你还听不听？还写不写？”我哭着说：“听，我听。”

爸爸便停下来了，他又拉着我回到教室，一边不解气地说：“坐下来，写完就回去，我等你！”

老师这时才赶紧把我拉到一边，一边给我擦额头上的血痕，一边给我讲解作文的思路。这一次我每个字都听进去了，老师讲完我赶紧拿起笔来写，一会儿就写完了。

老师一看我的作文就表扬了我，说我写得很不错，思路清晰，表达通顺，用词准确。爸爸听了，这才露出了笑脸。走时，他把打我的竹条插在黑板的左上方，然后对老师说：“这根竹条就插在这里，下次他不听你就用它狠狠地打。他太调皮，三天不打就忘了疼。”

老师笑着送我们出了教室。

第二次上课，我看着那根竹条子就想起爸爸气青的脸，就感到脸上有了火辣辣的疼痛。所以上课认真多了，作文也写得很快，每次老师都表扬我进步了。

我想以后，我也不会忘记这根竹条子，尽管它打了我，但也体现了爸爸对我的爱。
