I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

In the past two years， my parents took me to travel to many places， including big cities， small towns， famous mountians and so on。 Therefore， I like traveling and I hope I can visit to many more places。 Since then， I hope I can be a tour guide in the future， so I can travel to many tourist attractions。 Besides， I can meet various people and I think municating with different people is interesting， wchich can broaden my field of vision。 I hope they can share their life stories with me so that I can know the general life of a place。 I know it would be a challenging job， but I believe I can do well in my job。

morning, I got up early and cooked breakfast for my parents. At school, I helped

my desk-mates to repair their broken chairs.After school, I took my birthday

cake to the home for the aged. The old men were so happy to see me. All o~ them

hoped that I would be back again.What a joyful birthday it was!

我的爸爸今年39岁，乌黑的头发中夹杂着几根白发，特别显眼。他中等身材，皮肤较黑。一双明亮的眼睛，炯炯有神，特别的是在他笑起来时，双眼就眯成了一条缝。

爸爸待人随和，和蔼可亲，但他有个坏习惯——爱抽烟。每次一回到家，刚坐到沙发，手就往口袋里摸，掏出烟盒，从中抽出一支他的“心肝宝贝”点上，大口大口地吸了起来，吐出的烟圈弥漫了整个房间。我和妈妈被呛得喘不过气来，连忙打开门窗后才缓过神来。爸爸却视而不见，继续“腾云驾雾”抽他的烟。我们三番五次劝阻他别再抽烟了，抽烟对他自己的身体有害，对他人也造成影响，可他总是不理不睬的。

后来，我想出了一个高招，我亲手画了一张禁止吸烟的标志，贴在房间里墙上最显眼的地方。那天爸爸一进门就看见了那张纸，他似乎全明白了我的意思。他坐在沙发上，手一直在口袋里掏，有时拿出烟盒看看，又不舍得放回去，这动作反反复复了好几次。这一切我都看在眼里，却乐在心里，心想爸爸总算有觉悟了!

我多想改掉爸爸的坏习惯，但这不是一件轻而易举的事，我准备打一场持久战。
