从我记事以来，爸爸几乎每晚都要在睡前给我讲故事，古今中外，名着传记，无数风云人物，无数精彩情节，爸爸信手拈来，娓娓述说，让我却遐想万分，浮想联翩……爸爸特别爱看书，所以他不仅给我讲的故事从不重复，而且还经常即兴创作，自编故事，照样引人入胜，精彩纷呈，让我特别崇拜。

爸爸在我小学二年级学作文写秋天的时侯，专门骑车带我到家附近的小树林里，让我感受秋天的景色：蓝蓝的天空，淡淡的白云，清爽的气息，渐落的黄叶……秋天的“幽”与“悠”在这一刻扑面而来;爸爸又带我到繁华的农贸市场：金灿灿的玉米棒，红艳艳的小辣椒，绿油油的青菜叶，红彤彤的大苹果……秋天的丰收和喜悦顿时油然而生。

液态老爸千变万化。每当我的肚子饿了，老爸就秒变大厨师，做出一道道香喷喷的饭菜，让我吃个够;每当家里有东西坏掉时，老爸就举起变身器，变身修理工，拿出扳手、螺丝刀，快速修起东西来;每到节假日，老爸就变成了专职司机，开着车带全家出游;每当我和老爸打起双人游戏时，他又变成了我最好的战友，我们合作默契，所向披靡。

当然，以上只是液态的老爸，而当我犯错误的时候，老爸就进入了固态，变成寒冰射手，吐出一颗颗“豌豆子弹”，打到我身上，我立刻被冻僵了。寒冰老爸眼神冰冷，眼神所到之处都被寒冰覆盖。面对寒冰老爸，我通常选择躲避，让他慢慢融化。不过有时这招也会失败，不但不会让寒冰老爸融化，反而会让老爸升级，变成气态老爸。

水开了，沸腾了，老爸变成了汽态。相比汽态老爸，固态的寒冰老爸就显得太温柔、太和善了。他很少打我，可如果我犯了大错，他会摔东西、会撕我的本子。有一次他撕坏了我的随笔本，那可是作为优秀作业在学校展览过的，我难过了很久，我的心被他灼伤了……

我最爱柔情似水的液态老爸，但我知道，无论是哪种形态的老爸，都是深爱着我的。

“哎哟！”妈妈轻轻地叫了一声，我还是听见了。

我赶紧放下手中的笔，从书房跑到客厅，看见妈妈一手拿着拖把，一手捂腰，一脏痛苦 表情。她看见我来了，勉强又装着没事的样子。

“妈，你怎么了？”我关切地问道。

“没怎么，没怎么。”妈妈像做错了事的孩子一样答道。我疑惑地望着妈妈，妈妈见状赶紧说，“你还不赶快去做作业，做完作业就复习功课，这中考就快到了啊。”

“哦。”我应了声，转身进了书房，旋即拉上了房门。坐在椅子上，午后的阳光洒在桌沿上，我忽而感到莫名的烦躁，拿出抽屉里的武侠小说漫不经心地翻动着，却一个字也看不进去。

我走到客厅，一屁股坐在沙发上，随手拿来一摞报纸，正准备看，妈妈跑了过来，从报纸中抽出一张黑色的胶纸，转身走了。

“那是什么？妈。”我问道。

“没什么，一张没用的纸。”妈妈显然有些慌张，顿时语无伦次。

我一个箭步冲上去抢了过来，一看，原来是透视图。“妈，你怎么了？”我慌了。 “真的没什么，就是前几天拖地时腰扭到了，你看，一切正常。”妈妈忙指着检测单给我看。“我就是不想影响你学习，才没对你说的。”

我一看，真的没什么问题，就抢过来妈妈的拖把，“我来帮你拖地，你休息一下吧！” “不行，不行，你快去做作业，我真的没事。”

我放下拖把，把妈妈拉到沙发上坐着，对她说：“你就安安心心地坐着吧，其它的事你就别管了。”

妈妈拗不过我，只得坐在沙发上看着我。

提起拖把，还挺沉的，但今天再沉也得拖。我学着妈妈平常的样子先从一角拖起。我弯下腰，攥着拖把来回地拖着，回头一看妈妈，她正笑着看我呢。我更加卖力地拖着，终于完成了客厅和餐厅。但已是汗流浃背，腰酸背痛，不过我还是提着拖把向厨房走去。妈妈见状跑了过来，拖过拖把“好了，今天就别拖了，等我老了，有你拖的呢！”妈妈笑着说。

我又回到了书房，推开一条门缝向外看去，妈妈佝偻着腰在厨房拖着地，不时停下来用手捂着腰，看着这一幕，我的眼睛红了，心里很不是滋味。

从那以后，我把那一摞武侠小说封在床底。多少个挑灯苦熬的夜里，我的脑海中总会浮现那幕画面：一个母亲佝偻着腰拖地，时不时停下来用手捂一下腰，午后的阳光将她的背影撑得很大很大

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

My hometown is a prosperous and beautiful city, it is located in the south of the motherland, hot and cool guangxi province, it is also a small city - jingxi.

It is rich in fruit, and many of the fruits in wuhan, such as durian and shanzhu, may cost more than 50 yuan in wuhan, while in jingxi, it may be only 25 yuan.

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

我的爸爸原来有一头稠密的头发，尖尖的鼻子，黑黑的眼睛，弯弯的眉毛，对了，还有许多扎扎的胡子，他的个子很高，力气很大，总是面带笑容。
