Recently, the problem of environmental pollution is getting more and more

serious. The air pollution, noise pollution and water pollution are found on the

newspaper everywhere. It is obvious that we should do something to protect our

earth. Because we have only one home. We should try our best not to pollute the

environment and appeal the people around us make their effort to protect our

Today is the New Year’s Day. I have a three-day holiday, so I can go out have fun or stay at home to have a good rest. Today, my parents take me out. We go to the mall. Yesterday, I asked my mother to buy me some candies. It was my favorite

white rabbit rolls. When my mother bought it for me, I ate a little and hided

the rest. I was going to bring them to school to give them to my primary school

deskmate, Xiao Fang, because today is white day. I want to give present to her

to make her happy on this special day. I will give the candies to her later.

National Day, Mom and Dad took me to Suzhou on Saturday farm, where fun.

There, I ride the horse, when the back of the brave little knight. I gave the old goat the leaves, my God! 爸爸的新单位是阿克苏高级中学。这是坐落于美丽的多浪河畔的所全新的学校，是由我们杭州市援建的。学校很大，学生很多，他们说着不同的民族语言，穿着不同的民族服装。爸爸的工作就是帮助老师更好地进行教学，培养出更优秀的学生，为建美丽新疆做贡献。爸爸到那里之后，虽然不适应当地的气候和生活习惯，也不适应我们不在他身边，但是爸爸很快全身心地投入到工作中。空余时间，他会告诉我们那里的趣闻轶事。所以，我也越来越向往那个神秘的西域之地。

两个月后，我和妈妈来了场说走就走的追随爸爸足迹之旅。七个小时的飞行之后，我们到达了阿克苏。虽然是晚上，但是我们还 是可以看到街道宽敞，两边大楼林立，看着经济条件还 是挺不错的吧。

接下来的几天里，爸爸有空了就会带我们出去转转。我们欣赏到了很多美景，比如神木园、大峡谷、沙漠、雪山等等，真是叫人流连忘返。但是最叫人印象深刻的还 是那里的果园和牧民农家乐。大多数的果园里种植的是阿克苏冰糖心苹果。没进果园我们就能闻到苹果发出的淡淡的诱人的清香，馋得我口水都流出来了。到果园里后，就看到个个红彤彤的大苹果挂在枝头，把树枝都压弯了。于是我情不自禁地踮起脚尖，摘了个大苹果。苹果好甜啊，中间还 真有个冰糖心呢！据说，这苹果销量可好了，不要说当年的苹果不愁销，就是年、两年后的苹果都已经被预定了。户果农家只要有十亩果园，生活就不愁了。还 有种大核桃和红枣的也是样的。果园出来后，我们去了牧民家。他们住在类似蒙古包的毡房里，他们主要是靠养牛羊为生，同时也接待游客。牧民们通常热情好客，杀鸡宰羊、煮奶茶，为客人奉上道道美食，让客人们有种宾至如归的感觉。他们告诉我们，现在的小日子过得很幸福。

这次旅行虽然时间不长，但是让我更好地了解了爸爸的工作，也让我更好地了解了这个风景优美，物产丰富的地方。有那么多的人在这里逐梦，相信她会越来越美，越来越富饶。这也是我的个梦想。

爸爸经常对我说：“时间就象海绵里的水，只要你愿意挤，总还是有的。所的爸爸总会从忙碌的工作中，挤出一点时间给我补习功课，陪我玩游戏。

我刚接触作文的时候，经常半个小时还抠不出一段话，写一篇作文，不但用几个小时，而且往往感到无话可说，没东西可写，经常是爸爸改的比我写的还要多。看到这种情况，爸爸就告诉我，要写好作文平时要多看些课外书，多积累些好词好句，多背一些好作文，要用心去写。我用老爸教给我的方法，果然，我的作文水平一点一点提高了，还经常被老师当作范文在课堂上读呢！

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

我的一天

I got up early this morning. I cleaned my room. I opened the window and

aired the room. I picked up the paper and swept the floor. Then I made the

bed.

我今天很早起床。打扫了房间。我开窗通了风。我捡了地上的纸，扫了地。然后我整理了床铺。

I played computer games. We had lunch at 12:00. We had fish for lunch.

但是平时胆小的爸爸，在我害怕的时候，会来保护我，比如看悬疑电影或小说时；在黑暗的公园里散步时……他总会说：“有我在，不用害怕！”

这就是我的爸爸，虽然胆小，但很爱我的老爸，与别人爸爸不一样的老爸。
