眼睛是人类感官中最重要的器官，大脑中大约有一半的知识和记忆都是通过眼睛获取的。读书认字、看图赏画、看人物、欣赏美景等都要用到眼睛。眼睛能辨别不同的颜色、不同的光线，再将这些视觉人的眼睛非常敏感，形象转变成神经信号，传送给大脑。由于视觉对人如此重要，所以每个人都更应该保护自己的眼睛。在学校里，随着年龄的增长，戴眼镜的同学也越来越多。其实我们的眼镜最初都是很明亮的。那为什么会看不清呢？原因主要有3点：一是写作业时没有做到“三个一”；二是看电视和用电脑过度，导致眼部肌肉疲劳，从而导致视力下降；三是在走路、坐车和阳光刺眼的地方看书，造成视力下降。还有就是写字读书姿势应该正确，否则形成近视、散光、远近与斜视。我们有些同学写字都爬到桌子上，看书弯着腰。如果这样，时间长了，就会得上近视。还有就是看电视和用电脑一定要注意距离要合适，电视机应该与眼睛平视，看电视和用电脑的时间最好不要超过1小时，而且每用一会儿就要歇一下，让眼睛放松放松。还有就是应该多吃胡萝卜、青木瓜等水果蔬菜，里边富含维生素A、D，有助保护我们的视力。最后就是应该坚持做眼睛保健操，姿势要正确，这样才能起到保护眼睛的作用。
