My home village is a beautiful village far from the town. There is a clear brook arcs around the village, making the vil]age like a peninsula.

又过了半小时，忽然听见一阵阵“加油”声和欢呼声从远处传来，只见数不清的自行车赛手穿着不同颜色的服装，骑着自行车正从远处飞奔而来。接着，加油声越来越响，一浪接着一浪，气势恢弘地传向远方。人山人海波动着，不时有人跳起来观看最精彩的场面，还有的人用力挥舞着手中的小红旗为赛手们呐喊助威，那场面真是激动人心啊!

一瞬间，自行车赛手们离我们越来越近了，只见一片花花绿绿的身影像一阵风似的从我们面前疾速掠过，便很快地消失在公路的转弯处。人群中不时有人大声叫喊：“啊!太快了，都没看清呀!”

过了一会儿，那片五颜六色的赛手们又出现在我们的视线里，原来是沿着城区绕完第一圈了。他们你追我赶，一会儿你赶上我，一会儿我超过你。每个自行车手的脚都飞快地蹬着，决不让自己落后一丁点。

第三圈，第四圈，第五圈……我看得眼花缭乱，眼前不时闪现着那一个个“快镜头”……终于到最后一圈第七圈了。自行车手们的速度稍稍有所减慢，但他们还是微弓着身体，严阵以对，时刻准备做最后的冲刺。骑在比较前面的赛手得意地高昂着头，连手也放开了自行车的把手，对着那些为他喝彩的观众摆着poss，似乎觉得胜利离自己不远了;落在比较后面的自行车手大汗淋漓，显得有点力不从心，但还是拼命地蹬着脚踏板继续前进……

绕完最后一圈，赛手们就渐渐离开了我们的视线，他们要向最终的目的地--中国云顶进军。人群渐渐散了，我意犹未尽：“这激动人心的场面何时再与我们相约在这广阔的蓝天下呢?”

The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten thousand Ii Great Wall" in Chinese. In fact, it s more than 6 000 kilometres long. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It is one of the wonders of the world.

Happiness is dependent upon work. Sometimes we complain that we have too

much work, but we fail to realize that it’s our work that keep us moving on and

helps us to become a better man. Last summer I visited my friends in a small

village. It was obvious that working has become an indispensable part of their

daily lives. They all went to the field to plant the crops. The sun was shinning

above them and they looked quite happiness about their work. On their face there

were such smiles as I had never seen before.

Work provide us with happiness. Work is more than a necessity for human

beings. If we have no work to do, we will waste our precious time. That’s pity.
