在印度洋的一个海岛上，有一种红嘴鸟。它的嘴的颜色浓度决定了它在异性眼中受欢迎的程度。在异性眼中`，嘴越红的鸟就越能干，就越有价值，他就是鸟国的精英。但如果它想让自己的嘴更红，就必须要调节自身内的胡罗卜素。胡罗卜素是让嘴更红的原因`，也是身体免疫性能不可缺少的成份。为了让自己的嘴更红，它便不惜代价地把胡罗卜素灌到自己的嘴上，让自己的免疫功能下降，从而缩短了自己的生命。这个故事的主人公名字在文学中有一个称呼，叫“红嘴薄命”想一想，我们是不是比这些鸟儿更聪明呢?很多时候，我们忽视了生命的价值，过早地耗费了生命的资源，缩短了生命的长度。

动物如此，人何以堪?当我们渐渐明白生命的价值的同时，还应学会怎样去享受你的生命。

因为生命就像一杯淡淡的咖啡，如果不细细品尝它，是无法完全明白它的价值。在法国的某个乡镇，一位游客在这个地方旅行，一次他趁汽车停留十分钟的时候。他去准备品尝当地有名的特产——法式浓汤。到一家餐馆，他便向老板点了一份法式浓汤。当老板打听到他只有十分钟的时候老板就说：“不行”游客问“为什么?”老板回答说：“这种法式浓汤是花了我们好几个小时才熬出的，它是我们最棒的菜，可是你只能花十分钟去面对它，这样实在是太可惜。”这位游客最终没有尝到法式浓汤。这件事最终让他明白，品味任何一种事物时，不能只重于结果，应注意其过程。生命也是如此，应慢慢地欣赏它，细细品味它，这样才能真正地明白生命的价值。

生命的价值，一个看似平凡却复杂烦琐的问题。这个问题值得我们去思考。生命仿佛是一个沙漏，你的年华与青春正在一点一点地流逝，所以我们应该珍爱生命。
