Last week, I saw a very impressive documentary about panda. A professor studied panda in the early 1980s went to the wild life and kept trace of wild giant panda for many years. As a result, he found that it was human being that made these lovely animals die out. At that time, many people believed that giant panda became less because of the low rate of newborn babies. But it was not true. People cut trees for making profit at that time. Panda lose homeland and they lacked of food. Thanks to these valuable data, the government took the policy to protect the animals. So today, the number of giant panda is increasing. People realize the importance of protecting the environment and it is the best way to protect wild animals, they are the indispensable part of the nature.

暑假最清凉快乐的事当然是游泳啦!我在柳市卡卡游泳馆学游泳。我换上泳衣，做了几个热身运动，就下水了。我连着学了三个必备动作：憋气，漂浮和换气。憋气可是我的强项，别看我很瘦，你猜我最多可以憋多久?猜不到吧，大约35秒!上次教练给我计时，我也很吃惊，都不敢相信。经过这20天的学习，我取得了很大的进步。游泳考试那天，我们听说这里最高纪录是一个小孩游到了410米。我蠢蠢欲动，觉得自己也行，想要露一手。当我游到350米时，教练突然说：“你可以了，下一个!”我急了，说：“我还可以游，为什么要停?”你猜教练怎么说?他说：“假如你抽筋了，还要我跳下来救你吗?”同学们听了都哈哈大笑起来，还有个同学都笑的差点喝水了。我心里很生气，心想：是不是不想让我打破这里的纪录呀?哼!

天边几朵浮云，悠哉游哉在浅蓝的高空上，晨曦柔柔地普照大地，此时最有趣的事莫过于去钓鱼了。

吃过早饭，我便背上竹篓，带着鱼竿，装了些蚯蚓，便和邻家小孩一起去钓鱼。听说村外有个池塘有好多大鱼呢。

从邻舍前走过，村里人见了我们这身行头，都亲切地调侃道：“鱼儿们又有得受喽。”我们像即将出战的战士，昂首挺胸，向池塘进发。

路上，我们途径一条狭窄的小路，窄得仅一人能通过。许是少有人来或是人们爱护得好，两旁杂草丛生，郁郁青青，只见一条白道，斗折蛇形，蜿蜒曲折。草叶上的露珠，若珍珠般，一缕阳光照在上面，远远望去熠熠生辉。此时与陶渊明的“道狭草木长，夕露沾我衣”深有同感。

到了池塘，在靠树寻了块好地方，取出鱼饵勾上，往远处甩，放线。刚刚还静如镜的池面漾起圈圈涟漪。过不久，水下似乎有些动静了。我屏气凝神，立马收线拉起，好家伙，定是条大鱼。一整条鱼跃出水面，哈哈，是一条大山鱼。

我看了看旁边的小胖，他拿着鱼竿正闭目养神，奇怪的是竟没挂鱼饵，他淡定地说：“我这是姜太公钓鱼愿者上钩。”说完还捋了捋一把胡须。

游泳对我来说，就像是下地狱般的痛苦!因为我害怕游泳，我害怕被同学嘲笑我穿起泳衣很胖，可是我心中的小天使却告诉我说：婕宁，不要害怕，妳不要害怕游泳，不要害怕同学会嘲笑妳，妳只要学好妳该学的就好了。结果，游泳并不是我想像中的那样难，想不到同学根本就不会嘲笑我，老师也对我很好。虽然在学习的过程中有一些小挫折，但是我还是努力的克服了，我学会了仰式、蛙式、自由式、蝶式，而且还通过了九级检定，这一切都是老师的功劳。所以，以后如果有人溺水，我就可以自告奋勇的去救他了。

我的.暑假生活充实又精采，现在是五年级，还有最后一次童年暑假，期待下一次暑假的来临，做我未实现的梦想。

长长的假期也是学习特长的好时机。我曾学过画画，学过毛笔书法，从不叫苦，坚持练习。今年我又请了钢琴老师教我弹钢琴，每天都要练习。而钢琴这门新学科，真是其乐无比。

不过值得一提还有外出旅游。为了开阔眼见，妈妈特地带我去了四川九寨沟游山玩水了一回，让我感受一下航空的滋味，领略了自然界的风光。九寨的山秀，水奇，人们还流传着一句话叫“九寨归来不看水。”这是对九寨水的高度评价。九寨的湖、滩、海形状各不相同，水色呈现出黄、绿、青、黑、紫……多种色彩，五光十色。九寨的山一座座连绵起伏，高耸云端。山上青松翠柏数不胜数，美不胜收，犹入仙境。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

Can Money Buy Happiness?

Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some

think yes, while others hold the opposite.

It is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and

live a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack of

money causes great distress. It is a common view that "money is the root of all

evil." The pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. In some

places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt

societies where everybody is miserable.

So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on how it is

used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to

happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible

if it is employed sensibly.

开始游泳了，老师先教我们蛙泳，先划手，再蹬腿。到我游了，我手一划脚一蹬，却怎么都不前进，反而像个石头一样直往下沉。这可把我急坏了。我像只泄了气的皮球一样，一点也不想动了。这时候，老师对我说：“放轻松一些，不要泄气。”接着便耐心地给我做示范，我照着老师的动作做，果然好多了。

经过两个星期的练习，我终于在暑假学会了游泳。游泳让我懂得了“坚持不懈，不能半途而废”的道理。

“哇——”一阵哭声如同炸雷般在我耳边响起。我一下子从睡梦中惊醒过来，“哎呀我的妈呀!咋哭这么惨?”原来这刺耳的“叫醒歌”是从妹妹的嘴里发出。

“哇——啊——哇啊啊啊——”我妹妹哭得更厉害了。“哎呦喂，一大早的，你哭啥?我的小祖宗，求求你别哭了，姐姐还要睡觉呢!”我打着哈欠边抱怨边抱起哭得像泪人一般的妹妹，瞬间，哭声戛然而止，妹妹不仅停止了哭声，还朝我坏笑。我哭笑不得，只好抱着她向客厅走去，边走边叫：“妈妈!妈妈!妹妹醒了!”可是，喊了半天，一点动静也没有。咦?人呢?原来，妈妈出去买菜了，却把妹妹留给我照顾!呜呜!我太难了!

这时，“哇”的一声，我那亲爱的好妹妹又放开了“歌喉”，大哭起来。“啊!不哭不哭，小淑女哭成花猫脸就不可爱了!”我哄着妹妹。可是，她还是一个劲地哭，我真想扔下她，到对门姐姐家里继续睡我的觉。

妹妹哭一会儿停一会儿，把我累得够呛。我想让她和我一起再睡一下，可是刚把她放到床上，“呜呜，哇——”，妹妹像定时炸弹一样又哭起来，还带着颤音呢!

我只好强打精神又把她抱起来，无奈地说：“妹子耶，你别哭了，姐姐唱歌给你听，行不?”说着，我就唱起了我最喜爱的歌：“巷口灯光忽明忽灭，手中甜咖啡已冷却。”哎，我一放开优美动听的歌喉，妹妹终于安静了下来。嘿嘿，我终于找到“治”你的办法了，我在心里暗暗得意。

唱着唱着，妹妹居然在我的怀里睡着了。我轻手轻脚地把她放回到床上，为她盖上被子，然后蹑手蹑脚地去刷牙洗脸。哎——牙还没刷完，我的妹妹又哭了!

咔嚓!我听到了钥匙开门的声音，是妈妈回来了!我抱起妹妹像看到救星似地冲出房间，对妈妈说：“妈妈，你可回来了，妹妹把我害惨了!”

通过这次带妹妹的经历，我充分体会到了妈妈平日的辛苦，以后我一定要多帮妈妈做一些力所能及的事，做一个乖女儿、好姐姐。

暑期不久，一场暴雨将世界洗净。

下午时，原本很热的下午，开始起风了，好多人就说“要下雨了”。风刮的越来越大，天渐渐暗下来，风吹走了燥热，吹来了灰色的云。云越积越多，越堆越厚，让人心中很压抑，仿佛天要压下来。

风把窗户吹的摇摇欲坠，让人惊恐。外面的雨斜着吹过玻璃，雨点打在窗上，水顺着窗檐流了下来，留下一条条“泪”的痕迹。“扑哧”，没电了，窗外的天色与楼房的色彩形成鲜明的对比，仿佛恶魔悬在天空，让人心生畏惧。白红色的楼房，在映衬下形成鲜亮的颜色。

雨下的越大，雷声也越大。闪电一闪，将天空变成了紫红色，天空被撕成了几分。就在远处，一座天桥，在乌云下显出淡淡的彩色——是彩虹。风吹的云移动的速度很快，一眨眼就消失了。

One night Mr Lee was driving his wife home from work. She was a nurse in a

hospital. It was almost midnight and she was quite tired out. She soon fell

asleep. Mr Lee looked at her and smiled.

Mr Lee was a careful and experienced driver. He knew it was safer to drive

slowly on a dark night. After some time he noticed a car following him. It was

travelling very fast. Suddenly it overtook his car.

The driver of the car was in a hurry. He did not see the approaching lorry.

To avoid hitting it, he suddenly tuned his car. It skidded off the road and hit

a big tree. The driver and his passenger were injured.They were badly cut by

glass from the broken windscreen.Mr Lee quickly stopped his car by the side of

the road. His wife got out of the car to help the injured. The lorry driver also

stopped to help. Mr Lee drove off to telephone the police . About twenty-five

minutes later, a police car and an ambulance arrived. The injured were carried

into the ambulance and taken to hospital.

The policemen took down details of the accident. Mr Lee and the lorry

driver told them all they could remember. The policemen thanked them for their

help. Mr and Mrs Lee got into their car and continued their journey home.

Our school factory was opend in 1980, it is over 20 years old since it was opened At the beginning of its opening there were only several workers and the product was still simple. But now the factory is developed into a big one, which has over 100 workers. It produces a lot of products. Such as exercise－books, note books chalks and so on. The products are in good quality and low prices, so they sell well in many areas.

With the development of production, the income is increasing year by year. The factory offers the teachers and students breakfast for free. Every month, we go to the factory to work in turn. In this way, we form good habit of loving work.

说做就做，我拿起了一只鸡蛋，又盛着一碗白米饭跑向厨房。开始做了，我的脑电波开始搜寻妈妈做蛋炒饭的情景。对，先把蛋打破，用碗接住蛋液，急忙把碗拿出来，原以为轻而易举，但是调皮的蛋液却依依不舍地抱着自己的衣服——蛋壳，跑到了碗里。这可怎么办?我看到了一双筷子，便用它来“捉”混在蛋液里的“调皮鬼”。夹完蛋后，学着妈妈的样子洗葱、切葱!之后，一边开火，一边往锅里倒入五勺油。“啪啪啪”，油在锅中欢快地跳着舞。我见了，赶忙把蛋液小心翼翼地倒入了锅中。不久，上面一层慢慢熟了，于是，我笨手笨脚地把它翻过来，剁碎。大约过了一分钟，蛋完全熟了，我又把饭倒进去炒。又过了五分钟，饭呈金黄色，放入一些盐，可一不小心加了两勺!混合了一下，尝了尝，把饭吐了出来，边喝水边喊：“太咸了!”眼看我即将功亏一篑，急得心里就像有三只小兔子在蹦蹦跳跳。正在这时，我突然灵机一动;想起了一个小妙招：如果盐放多了，再把饭菜加量不就中和了嘛，瞧我多聪明，我不得不佩服我自己。然后画龙点睛——放葱。最后，起锅，大功告成。

At college, i missed my parents a lot. as the term was drawing to an end, i eagerly looked forward to going home. and i planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. above all, i wanted to help my mother with housework. i also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. however, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. she completely deprived me of sharing her work. as soon as i opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. to please her,i told her one thing after another,and soon i forgot all about books. even when i was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that i should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. when i left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. but i felt very happy. i believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: home, sweet home. there’s no place like home!

Canton Tower,as a new landmark,located in the new CBD and the Pearl River landscape axis,lying in the geometric center of Guangzhou city.Canton Tower is 125 meters away from the south bank of Pearl River,facing the Haixinsha Island and Zhujiang New Town.In the year 2004,Information Based Architecture won the international competition,in which 13 of the worlds largest architectural offices participated,with a stunning and challenging design.IBA collaborated with Arup,the global design and business consulting firm developed the concept design.In later stages,IBA cooperated mainly with the local Chinese offices of Arup and a Local Design Institute.
