Outside, where the garden was yesterday, there is now a white and glistening level, and the village beyond is no longer your own familiar cluster of roofs but a village in an old German fairy-tale.
You would not be surprised to learn that all the people there, the speetacled postmistress, the cobbler, the retired school master, and the rest, had suffered a change too and had become queer elvish beings, purveyors of invisible caps and magic shoes. You yourselves do not feel quite the same people you were yesterday. How could you not when so much has been changed? There is a curious stir, a little shiver of excite-ment, troubling the house, not unlike the feeling there is abroad when a journey has to be made. The children, of course, are all excitement but even the adults hang about and talk to one another longer than usual before setting down to the day’s work. Nobody can resist the windows. It is like being on board a ship.

可能有些家长看到子女成绩及名次时会大吃一惊，这与你从子女嘴里了解的情况并不吻合甚至相距甚远。事实上，每次放月假，班级都发放了家校联系单，上面有你子女上次考试的成绩、名次、学生的自我评价及班主任评语，你有没有看到?有没有询问?有没有与老师联系?你们可能并不是不关心子女的成绩，也不是不负责任，而是过于相信了子女，而子女却利用你们的信任欺骗了你。

放假前各科均布置了作业，我也多次强调高三的寒假及假期不同于高一、高二，因他们即将面临人生中非常重要的一个转折点——高考!多次督促他们要认真完成假期作业，年级组还印发了《告家长书》，但学生的假期作业完成得怎么样呢?请各位家长认真看看手上的假期作业检查情况汇总表、子女的寒假作业及检测的试卷、分数。
有的假期作业上还要求家长签字，但你们督促了吗?检查了吗?签字了吗?还是只是问了问，但没有检查，子女说没有布置或做完了，你立即就相信了?说实话，学生能否考上大学或考上什么样的大学对你们的影响要远比对我的影响要大得多，如果你们在假期里都对自己的子女不负责任的话，又怎么能苛求老师呢。
4.接下来发放的是《我的高考奋斗目标》，这是要求学生在3.19—3.21的假期里与家长一起制定的，不知道家长有没有参与并根据孩子的实际情况，共同制定切实可行的高考奋斗目标及措施。现将学生制定的目标发放到你手上，请你看看他制定的目标是否与你的期望相吻合，能不能大家共同努力，将目标、措施落到实处。还有几个人(周超、常琛、冯峰、张翀)到现在都没有制定并上交高考奋斗目标，如果到现在还连目标都没有的话，他还会在剩下的时间里认真学习、奋力拼搏吗?
5.接下来发放的是《高三(1)处罚学生情况一览表》，从这个表上可以看出，在处罚的9个人中，有7个人是违规使用手机，这一点家长有不可推卸的责任。虽然我严厉禁止学生手机，并在几次的家长会上一再强调，还处理了好几个学生，但现在仍有部分学生在偷偷摸摸地使用，甚至家长也知道、也支持，甚至还反对老师的做法，家长想当然的认为孩子用手机只是为了跟自己联系，但请你去查一下他(她)的通话清单，里面所有拨打的电话中及收发的短信中有几个是与你联系的呢?我曾经检查过一个女生的电话，一个月的通话、短信记录近千个，通话单子从教室前面一直拉倒教室后面，但里面与家长联系的电话与短信加起来不过30来个。更何况，现在的手机不光是只能通话、发短信，还可以上网、聊qq、看录像、看电子书，已经从部分学生的手机里发现了不健康的录像和书籍。请各位家长在距离高考仅剩的70多天中务必加强对子女手机的管理，不要让手机干扰了他(她)的学习和休息。
