Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. 我想像“馒头”一样

这个暑假，我的好朋友“小馒头”要和父母到美国去旅行。和他一起去的还有他的姐姐“巴米”他们都是我的好朋友。我非常羡慕他们。

以前，我们在一起无忧无虑地玩耍，开心极了。结果有一天我和“馒头”、“巴米”在一起玩的时候，“馒头”突然有些炫耀的说道：“暑假我们要去美国玩了!”我没有向他期待的那样投去羡慕的目光让他得意，而是用满不在乎的样子说了声：“哦，那就去呗，又不是看外星人，呵呵O(∩_∩)O～!”回到家里，我心里却也始终放不下，毕竟是去国外呀!我梦寐以求的就是去国外呀!但我没有像小时候一样向妈妈撒娇，而是放在了心上。因为我知道，家里的条件还没有富到能够出国旅行，到国内稍远的地方都会有些勉强，“馒头”的爸爸是个大老板，他们家很有钱，所以才能带着这么多人一起去国外度假。我并不奢望爸爸妈妈能够带着我大摇大摆地在国外的高级宾馆度假，或是省吃俭用，好不容易省出了机票，匆匆去个两天就回到九江，我想体会到各个国家的风土人情，感受人类的智慧，认识不一样的国家，让自己成为一个见多识广的孩子。

每个孩子都会羡慕“馒头”一家，但是羡慕的原因都不同，去国外旅行的益处多多，我多么想像“馒头”一样啊!

暑假，本是一个同学们期望己久的快乐时光，可以痛痛快快地玩了，早上再也没有了令人讨厌的闹钟声…可是我们那些望子成龙，望女成凤的宝妈们，却早早为我们安排好了一切：每天早上去辅导班，每天中午去辅导班，每天下午去辅导班。我每天在问天问地，到底是谁发明了辅导班!剥夺了我看电视的时间，如果让我知道是谁，我要把那个人视为我的仇人。

今天，我就目睹了“母女大战”的经过。妈妈让我去买盐，在回去的路上我见到了那“惊心动魄”的一幕。一个与我同龄的女孩大声喊到;‘我不要去辅导班。女孩的妈妈生气地说;‘我是为你好，你看你们班那个同学没上辅导班。’小女孩哭着说：“我只要在家里好好学相信也能跟上他们。”我暗暗自喜，这不正说出了我不想去辅导班的心声吗?

回到家中我一字不漏的把小女孩说的话讲给妈妈听。妈妈只是淡淡的说了一句;“明天你不用去辅导班。”

第二天早上妈妈带我去乡下的姥姥家。她说;“既然你不去辅导班，那我也不能让你一直呆在家里看电视，所以把你带到姥姥家里来帮姥姥和姥爷干农活的。”我心想;不用去辅导班太好了!

到姥姥家的第一天，老爷和我去扳玉米，我看姥爷掰的可好了，一个又一个的玉米进了他的背筐，我看着这些玉米像一个个黄色的小娃娃向我招手。我迫不及待的跳入玉米的“树林”中。想去掰玉米可是却怎么也掰不下，我用尽了全身的力气终于把玉米掰下来了。两三个小时过去了我才掰了两个玉米。可我感觉像是绕学校跑道跑了一百圈，实在是太累了。到了晚上姥姥去做饭，我跟去帮忙，当我看到厨房是那么小那么简陋，我惊呆了。而且做饭时还要生火。他们是多么的不容易啊。想到这我醒悟了。

我在城市里上学，条件那么好，我去然却不知道要珍惜学习时间，脑子里一直想着玩。我回到家对妈妈说：“我愿意去辅导班，珍惜学习的时间。"

我相信这个暑假一定是我最特别最难忘的。
