我和覃淦、曾丽欣、李亮、常佩林首先开始了新概念课程的第一部分小组竞赛（以加分的形式），我们开始学第27课。学完以后，老师告诉我们，她要我们抢答几道题，我以5：3占了优势。

我们又开始了听写110课的百词赛。我一看，老师听写的词很简单，所以，听一个，就毫不犹豫地写一个。听写听了好多个词。终于，我忘了一个单词，这是最后一个单词。终于，听写结束了。

最有趣的是第二个环节大隆（英国人的中文名）的外教课。大隆老师首先问我们的名字（英文）。然后让我们分别问他一个问题，要用英文。他非常幽默。他又让他问我们问题了。他问我：Do you have money(你有钱吗？)我连忙说：No, No ,No 。（没有）曾丽欣说：我有。大隆老师说：给我。把我们都逗得哄堂大笑，这个老师真有趣。

接着我们玩了BINGO（宾狗）游戏。游戏规则是：老师在黑板上写很多单词，我们画表格，六个格子。抄六个黑板上的单词。然后老师报20个单词。要求六个格子全都对。我写了Policeman（警察）、Are(问怎样)、Ask（问）、When(什么时候)、book(书)、pencil(铅笔)，结果老师正好问了这些单词。我赢了！

最后，大隆老师给了我们每人一根棒棒糖。外教课结束了！

但是，外教上课的时间太短了。不过我们还好有一个温柔的小老师，她让我们非常开心，老师时不时还会开一两个玩笑使课堂变得不是那么枯燥乏味。

Silk, paper and plastic lanterns vary in shape and size and are usually multi-colored. Some are in the shapes of butterflies, birds, flowers, and boats. Other are shaped like dragon, fruit and animal symbols of that year. The most popular type of lantern is the horse-racing one, in which figures or animals rotate around the vertical axis of the lantern.

The special food for the Lantern Festival is Yuen Sin or Tong Yuen. These are round dumplings made with sticky rice flour. They can be filled and served as a sweet snack or made plain and cooked in a soup with vegetables, meat and dried shrimp. The round shape of the dumpling is a symbol of wholeness, completeness and unity.

The Lantern Festival is an occasion for families to get together and for everyone--young, old, rich and poor to have fun.

Oh God! I think I was about seven and half when my sisters and I pulled this stupid stunt. I remember watching television with them and the show on happened to be our favorite program to watch. All of a sudden we heard my brother, Chris, yelling from the backyard. So we all headed out there to see what happened. When we finally located him, he was in a tree hanging from the highest tree branch. Crying, he explained to us that he had climbed up the tree and couldn‘t get down. We thought, okay, one of us should climb up and get him off, but we couldn‘t manage to get him moving down.

It was then my youngest sister, Ka, who was five and a half at the time had seen a similar situation. She suggested we grab a sheet, hold it under the branch Chris was hanging off of, and tell him to drop so we can catch him. My other sister, Yams, who is one year younger than me, peered at me to confirm the idea and I said "Yeah, let‘s try that".So we grabbed a sheet from the closet and went to hold it beneath the tree. Now mind you, the ages holding this blanket were ranging from seven and a half to five and a half, thus the sheet was probably being held up to our waist and also close to touching the ground. 一开始，我发现我变成了一个小矮人。我坐着一个会飞的魔法炉子，飞往世界各地去旅行。第一站我来到了丛林的深处。在黑漆的森林里，没有一点声音，突然听到了一阵阵的脚步声，那声音如同山崩地裂，好像大地都被震得颤动起来。一个巨大的黑影在缓缓前进，一个巨人在森林里缓缓前进，对它来说这一片森林就是一片灌木丛。我赶快骑上飞天炉飞到了巨人的旁边。我对巨人说：“你好吗？我能跟你交个朋友吗？”巨人说：“要是你能帮我找到飞猪的话，我就和你当朋友。”我想飞猪是什么东西，我答应好，我问它飞猪在哪里，巨人说了句天上就走了，我坐着炉子向天上飞了去，渐渐我看见了几个小黑点，有几只长着白色翅膀的小猪在天上飞，还有几只大公猪也在天上飞。

我从它的身旁偷偷飞到了它们的上空，然后用锅子罩住了一只小白猪，在快要落地的时候，让炉子飘了起来，所以都没有被落地时的冲击力撞伤。

我把小白猪送了过去后还发生了很多有趣的事。想看下集，请观看续集！

Today was fine and cloudy, and the sky looked blue. I went to visit Guilin with my grandfather. We spent 2 hours taking a bus to Guilin.

When we got there, we went to Seven Stars Park first, which is beautiful and famous. There are many kinds of colourful flowers. They are all lovely and beautiful. We took many photos there.

After a while,we went to the zoo in the park. There are also many animals in the zoo. I like birds best, because they have beautiful feather and can sing many good songs. We watched them gladly and feed something to them.

After that, we went to the Li River. There are many famous places and bridges beside and on the river. We met many foreigners. The river water was very clean and the hills were green. It looks like a wonderful picture. We stayed beside the Li River for a long time, feeling very happy.

When we felt tired, we took the bus back home. What a wonderful time we had!

今天的英语课不同往常，因为我们要迎接一位新朋友———圣诞老人。

第一节下课时，杨老师对我们说：“下节课将有一位圣诞老人参与到我们的课堂中来，与大家一起上课，并且给你们发礼物。但是我们要用英语跟他对话。”说着，便给我们每人发了一顶圣诞帽。

上课铃一响，正当同学们安静地等候时，“圣诞老人”大摇大摆地走进了教室。

我一看惊呆了，仿佛站在我眼前的就是真正的圣诞老人。他与书上描述的圣诞老人很相似。又浓又白的长胡子，头上戴着一顶高高的圣诞帽，挺着一个大肚子，穿着一件红色大衣，腰上系着一根黑色腰带，脚蹬一双黑色的短靴。

我们按杨老师的要求：先跟他用英语“hello，how are you！”打了招呼。圣诞老人说：“thank you！ ”我们接着又唱起了圣诞歌曲。

圣诞老人笑眯眯地望着我们，从前到后，边走边给大家发着糖。我幸运地分到了一颗水蜜桃味的棒棒糖，这是我最爱吃的口味。我们各自热情地和圣诞老人握了手。当糖全部分完时，我们又与圣诞老人来了一次大拥抱，教室里一片沸腾，同学们开心极了！有的拉住圣诞老人的胳膊；有的报着圣诞老人的腿；还有的爬在圣诞老人的背上……就连坐在旁边的杨老师也笑得前俯后仰。

今天的英语课太有趣了，让我们零距离地认识了“圣诞老人”。
