Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Now, it’s my turn. My

name is Edgar, a high school student. I am much honored to be here to give you a

speech. Also its a good chance for me to improve my English. I hope I can make

a good performance today. The topic of my speech is "After studying here".

Before I came here, I can never imagine that I can learn so much knowledge

about other countries, which cant be got from my books in school. Three months

ago, I took my first class. Unfortunately, I felt so embarrassed, because I even

cant speak any words, though I know I really love English.

After that, I took some of my tutors advice and previewed the lesson that

I’ll learn. What’s more, in every class, I JUST try my best to say as much as

possible. Now, I can only remember it’s a really hard time. What’s worse, I had

to go to my high school and went there at the same time.

After several weeks, I began to get used to the atmosphere in web .At least

Im not afraid to speak in front of my tutor and foreign teachers.

During web’s period, I found I had improved a lot, both physically and

mentally. For example, how to be a confident person, how to plan for my future.

And the most important is that I have learnt how to communicate with others,

which is a necessary skill. Nowadays studying is not the only thing that we high

school students should do, there are some more important things we have

ignored.

First, I am grateful for my parents. They have spent so much money for me,

but never ask for anything in return. I really know how hard it is to work on

such living conditions.

Now it’s time to introduce my tutor sally. It was she that led me to the

right studying here. It was she that helped me deal with all kinds of annoying

things. Also there are some other teachers that I appreciate, especially Laura

我家的小青蛙是妈妈帮我买的，因为我房间旁边的小屋子里有许多花草，花草会生很多的小虫子，所以妈妈才决定买一只小青蛙，回来消灭它们。

我家的小青蛙它身穿绿棉袄，背上还有许多黄色的小条纹，青蛙的腿和兔子的腿差不多，它们都是前腿短，后腿长，它的后腿比前腿发达。所以跳得远就是这个原因吧!它的脚掌大大的，身体肌肉发达。

我把小青蛙放在那个房间里吃虫子，我在那里给它做了一个小床，专门给青蛙休息，青蛙在房间里面还可以吃到美味的虫子，我可谓给了它一条龙的服务。它享受的可是总统套房的待遇。

一段日子后，虫子吃光了，青蛙非常饿，我正好带了许多从外面捉了些虫子，我先把那些花草搬走，然后把虫子放地上，看着它的潇洒的捉虫动作，我着迷了，它也又美餐了一顿。

青蛙是益虫，它还是庄稼的保护神，农民伯伯有了它，就不愁没有丰收年啦!我们都要保护好它们。

在众多的果蔬中，我最爱香蕉了。

香蕉的形状俏皮，两头弯弯的，就像一条调皮的尾巴，又像值班的“月儿”，有一些又胖又短像一根小木棍，颜色大多是黄色的。我以为所有的香蕉全是黄色的，妈妈说，有一种香蕉是红色的呢!它的味道也很不一般，又软又甜。香蕉还有一个特点就是入口即化，吃完后，还带着一丝淡淡的果香。虽然芒果也又软又甜，可没有香蕉好吃。

要是把香蕉切成片打上淀粉，放进油里炸，更是酥脆、香甜。香蕉还具有较高的营养价值，它含有蛋白质、胡萝卜素、B族维生素等。常吃香蕉中风的发病率比普通低23.6%，这与它含有降低血压的钾元素有关。

为什么有些香蕉是黄的，有些是半黄半绿的呢?一般香蕉生长在南方，运送有规定时间，有些未熟的就摘下来，运来时，快的就熟透了颜色就是黄的。而长得慢的就半生半熟了，颜色就半黄半绿了。

细心的人可以发现，香蕉身上有一些细小的陵，咋一看像一条用地破旧黄漆漆的小船，连香蕉皮上也有一股淡香飘入鼻孔。映入眼帘的是一抹纯正的青黄，我真喜欢它的颜色。

香蕉可以使人脸上添上笑容，就像它的形状，人笑起来像香蕉。荷兰科学家认为：它所含的泛酸成分是人体的“开心能量”，能减少心理压力，解除忧郁，令人开心，睡前吃香蕉有镇静心神的作用。所谓香蕉一身都是宝嘛!

很多人讨厌香蕉皮，觉得它没什么用，不小心踩到很容易滑到，其实它也有用途的。把香蕉皮切成一段一段的，用凉水泡5-8分钟，再用热水煮沸后捞起，可以治瘊子，有美白的作用。香蕉从内到外用途真多啊!

这种好吃又营养的水果应该多吃哦!
