We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

Environment Protection

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

For this, I think, first, our government should make drastic measures to regulate human activities; second, we human beings should take pains-taking work to stop ourselves destroying the environment and try our best to protect our living space more.

Forest Pretention保护森林

Our country has a large area of forest. However, not until recently did the government begin to realize the importance of protecting the forest. As we may know from various sources, the government recently adopted a policy called "restore the farmland to the forest"(退耕还林).This has brought much hope to the forest of our country as well as the sustainable development of our country.

Pollution: a Social Problem

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to usbecause. it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.

Get up this morning, our family is happy New Year to each other.I finished

the accumulation, I went out to play to play.One out of the door, I saw

thousands of sunshine like a sword, Pierce the atmosphere, shine on the earth, I

think maybe because today is New Years day, the sky grandpa make the weather is

sunny today.Look at the sky, blue, bright and clean, like a transparent mirror

thick, white clouds, the clouds like cotton, like waves, hung on the day side,

compose the day over there, the sky is decorated picturesque.Look ahead, both

sides stood door lifelike stone lions, a big mouth, staring at two pair of big

eyes, power and grandeur, like two soldiers on guard, they are one male, one

female, male feet standing on a ball, like to play there, female foot stepped on

a small lion, like to look after their children there.Evening, mother asked me

to take a bath, I cant help but ask: "why the Chinese New Year will take a

shower?"Mother said: "New Years day to wash them clean, can have a good year,

next year there will be a good one million."Finished washing bath, I looked out

of the window, multicolored fireworks straight up into the sky, blossom in mid

air, like a peacock, such as split again.A moment is in red, like peach apricot

flowers rained, for a while, and all over the sky, golden like the harvest rice

is scattered all over the sky.

Finished watching the fireworks, I fell asleep.

he Lantern Festival is a very busy day. On the Lantern Festival this year, I went to the small square with my mom and dad to watch the Lantern Festival. When we walk on the road, I see the small square is a sea of people, very lively. I cant wait to get a small square, where the lights are all kinds of pagoda shaped, with lights, big fish shaped lamps, saw a whoosh, a fireworks into the sky, in the sky from colorful light.

One of the lanterns slowly rising into the sky and gradually drifted toward the east.

After watching the lights and returning home, I decided that next years Lantern Festival would also go to the small square to see the lights. I believe that the Lantern Festival next year will be more lively than this year.

Today is my birthday and Im so excited about it.In the morning I put a note on the table for my mum and it said,Today is my birthday,dont forget it!At school,I got many gifts and cards for my classmates and had a lot of fun.But I was still expecting the birthday party after school.

When it was time to leave school I couldnt wait to go home.When I open the door,there wasnt anybody in the house.There was only a note that said,Coming home late tonight,mum and dad.I try to call them but there was no answer.I was so shocked,do they forget my birthday?How could this be!I was so sad that I couldnt eat anything.I just did my homework and waited for them.

And then,things changed completely.It was about time for dinner,my mother called and told me to go to the restanrant near our house.When I got there I couldnt believed my eyes.Everybody was there:my parents,my relatives,my friends and even my classmates.There was so many gifts and a big cake.What a surprising birthday party!We had a good time and it was the best birthday party ever.
