It’s the best thing for me. I often get up at nine o’clock in the morning. My

parents go to work so I stay at home alone. I will go out for breakfast. Noodle,

milk and egg are my favorites. Then I go back home to watch TV or meet my

friends. We always have many things to do. My parents would go home at noon so I

have lunch at home. In the afternoon, I will sleep and then do some homework. In

short, I spend most time in playing. I love winter holiday.

August, September and October are the months of kites flying, because the wind blows north-westwards. During these months, many Wonderful kites are flying in the blue sky.

One day as the school was over, Qin Bo, my classmate, called me accompanying him to have kite flying at the big grass field. I had not been flown kite for a long time. So I promised him at last, when I reached there at five, I found him waiting for me.

Many boys were flying their kites higher in the sky. They were excited when they found their kites win another’s. They shouted with joy and jumped up and down.

Not long after, Qin Bo’s kite was in the sky, but mine was not. I was so disappointed that I wanted to give up. But I thought how disgraceful I was. So I asked Qin Bo to exchange the kites. Oh! His kite was wonderful. It was so light that it flow higher than the kites of all. He told me why my kite could not fly because it was maderoughly; the head was heavy, and the end was light, I agreed and made up my mind to make a new kne that would fly high in the sky.

All the people want to stay in good health. Health is better than wealth.

It is true that health is the first step to success. Imagine this, if you’re

sick, all you can do is to stay in bed and do nothing at all, how can you chase

after your dreams?But if you’re in good health, you can overcome the adversities

you ever encounter and make your dreams come true. Since health is so important

for everybody, how can we maintain and enhance our health? There are some useful

suggestions:

First of all, we should lead to a regular life. Early to bed and early to

rise makes a healthy man. Do not stay up late. Some people love to play cell

phones games or reading electronic-books before sleep, this can be bad for the

health. We should remember to turn off the phones before sleep. Second, don’t be

too particular about food. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables and less sugars

and soft drinks. If you want to eat a bar of chocolate, eat an apple instead. If

you want to drink milk tea or coffee, drink water instead. Don’t eat too much

meat in one week. Last but not least, we should do exercise everyday. There are

many exercises for us to choose. Such as, swimming, jogging, square dancing,

playing badminton and so on. Doing exercise can increase the circulation of

blood and enhance our immune system. The one who in better immune system, the

less disease he will have.

In conclusion, if we pay close attention to our health, we can avoid

getting sick. Try to sleep earlier, eat more fruit and vegetable, drink more

water, and do exercise everyday. You will realize that it’s not that hard to

stay in good health.

That was spectacular. Tonight, the world was able to join in a magnificent tribute to the athletes and the Olympic spirit. It was an unforgettable and moving ceremony that celebrated the imagination, originality and energy of the Beijing Games.

We saw 204 national delegations march into the beautiful new National Stadium in the age-old tradition of the Games. Millions of people around the world were able to experience the thrill of seeing their heroes in a sea of team colours and national flags.

We witnessed athletes from these 204 countries and territories united in peace in one place. And for the next 16 days, they will be a part of one of the most thrilling competitions in history. As an Olympian, I can tell you that they will carry this memory with them forever.

This iconic stadium is one of the worlds new wonders. It was a fitting setting for an amazing Opening Ceremony, I look forward to an equally exciting and unforgettable 16 days.

Opening ceremonies have always been a way for host cities to welcome the world and for the world to gather and share the Olympic spirit. This ceremony to open the Beijing Olympic Games was a breathtaking culmination of seven years of planning and preparation. The world will remember this for a long time.

正月十五元宵节，人们来到广场上放烟花，赏烟花。

两人抬一个如老树桩般粗壮烟花简放在广场中间，一共三个一字排开。“要放了!”不知谁叫了一声，人们听了自觉地以中间的烟花简为中心围城了一个椭圆。放烟花的人点燃引线，“磁嵫”前奏响起后是一片寂静。不一会儿，一个烟花从简里“嗖”的一声飞出去，有些人还没反应过来，“嗖一一嗖一一”三发已经冲上了天，伴随着“嗖嗖嗖”的声音烟花冲向空中，“砰砰”，“噼里啪啦”地响着，音乐会掀起了一个小高潮。

人们的脖子仿佛都被绳子牵引了一般仰起头，如木地“呱偶般瞪着眼、张着嘴“啊一啊一太美了!”天空中的烟花，像一朵朵盛开的菊花，然后像流星一样飞速地冲下来，火花四溅形成了一条闪亮的瀑布从天空流下来，在场的人看到这美丽的一幕惊呆了。有的人早已拿到来至出手机拍照、摄像，要留下这美丽的幕，边拍边和同伴感慨“太美了”:有的人被“轰一一轰一”声音吓到了，不自觉的往后退几步，一下子踩到别人的脚，只听见“哎哟”一声惨叫;有的孩子骑在爸爸的肩膀上，“啪啪啪”鼓起了激动的掌声，小嘴还不停地说:“爸爸，烟花好漂亮!”就这样，烟花的燃放声伴随着们不是的赞叹声，把音乐会推向了高潮。

烟花放罢，旁边的小贩生意也好了起来。一个人拿着轰天雷在整个广场中间放。所有人都不敢靠近，那个人点着引线就往旁边跑，还没跑几步轰天雷就“轰”地响了喷出了火花，一道亮光冲向天空中就爆炸了。有些路旁边的人，听到“轰轰”的响声，以为打雷了，过了一会儿才发现原来是轰天雷响了。又有一个人拿起一串长条形的鞭炮点着引线就跑了。音乐会在“噼里啪啦”的响声中落幕....

多么迷人的烟花，多么动听的一场烟花音乐!

Cell phone seems to be one of the most important inventions of 20 century.

Using cell phones to surf the Internet has become quite common in our daily

lives. Cell phone has exceeded its original function such as making phones calls

or sending message. Its multi-functions have make people’s tedious lives more

colorful. Many people, especially the young generation, have found that they can

not live without their cell phones. Many people feel uncomfortable in absence of

their cell phones. This may become a symptom called cell phone dependency.

First, many people have addicted to cell phones, they spend considerable

time and money on the phone, for it provide with numerous games and

applications. Some of them even use cell phones as computers that they keep the

phone open for all day long. As to some students, some of them even use the

phones to play games in the class, when they should focus on their study

instead. In this case, parents and teachers should limit the time that children

spending on the cell phones, for its have more disadvantages than

advantages.

Second, the dependency on cell phones has shown people’s anxiety towards to

their social interrelationship. A day without cell phone just feels like getting

lost in this big world. Every day, people tend to check their cell phones to see

if they have got any messages or surf the Internet, but the cell phone truly

affects their normal life.

There is no denying that cell phones have brought us considerable

convenient. However, we should be aware of the negative effects that cell phones

have brought to us. Just put down your cell phone for a while, and you will find

that without your phone life can still be wonderful, too.

Lantern Festival is a traditional Chinese festival, the fifteenth day of the first is the Lantern Festival every year. "The fifteenth day of the yuanxiao, thriving holidays." With the coming of the annual Lantern Festival, every family with smiling face greet the arrival of the Lantern Festival.

Evening, upstairs, I hear the downstairs has bouts drums, I quickly downstairs, a large group of people around, I packed into the crowd, see a few "lion" is wonderfully performance. Suddenly, has been "lion" came to me, want to eat me, Im so frightened, hurriedly stepped back a few steps. At this time, it swished up to me, a triumphant look on his face, as if to say: "youre such a coward! You scared me, ha ha ha......" I looked unconvinced, muster up courage took a few steps forward, while it is not looking, secretly took a look of it, MAO thought: hum, call you, now know that my bad! I finally sent the "scare" revenge. At this time, someone put firecrackers, send them to the next place. I have been standing there, watching them slowly away, until cant see them, I was reluctant to leave.

This years Lantern Festival, I not only watch the lion dance, also put the fireworks, guess lantern riddles, is really a memorable yuanxiao.

元宵节是中国的传统节日，每年的正月十五就是元宵节。“正月十五闹元宵，红红火火过大年。”一年一度的元宵节来临了，家家户户都在用笑脸迎接元宵节的到来。

晚上，我在楼上，听到楼下有一阵阵锣鼓声，我赶紧冲下楼一看，一大群人围在一起，我挤进人群，看见几只“狮子”正精彩地表演着。突然，一直“狮子”朝我扑过来，好想要把我吃了，我很害怕，连忙向后退了几步。这时，它向我摇头摆尾，一副得意洋洋的样子，仿佛在说：“你这个胆小鬼!怕了我吧，哈哈哈……”我看了很不服气，就壮着胆子向前走了几步，趁它不注意，偷偷揪了一下它的毛，心里想：哼，叫你得意，现在知道我的厉害了吧!我终于报了这“一吓”之仇。这时，有人放了鞭炮，送他们到下一个地方表演。我一直站在那，看他们慢慢离去，直到看不见他们的身影，我才恋恋不舍地离开。

今年的元宵节，我不仅看了舞狮，还猜了灯谜、放了烟花，真是个令人难忘的元宵。
