After people of firecrackers during the Spring Festival, after visiting relatives and friends, have their work, because is a busy holiday is coming, the Lantern Festival.

The Lantern Festival day in the evening, quiet village was hilarious, gongs, villagers heart is boiling up. Hear the voice of the long-awaited children cheered, be elated.

By farm small courtyard only at ordinary times in and out, but its different now, neighbors house door, elaborate, colorful lanterns hanging full courtyard, people watched the colorful art, all full of praise.

With the coming of the night, every family hang lanterns village, the children took his beloved lanterns, dark night over time become bright. The children walk down the street playing, adults also walking in the street together, talking about this years lantern hot young guys sometimes met sweetheart!

The parents of the Lantern Festival, not only the beaming out of the village, also make to hope for a new years, for the villagers to make a good harvest, all smile to people, all smiles, spirit. The Lantern Festival is over, industrious villagers took to the shelf-space begin work in the New Year.

人们在春节的爆竹声后，在走亲访友后，有各自忙活了起来，因为又要迎来又一个热闹的节日——元宵节。

元宵节这天傍晚，寂静的村子便热闹起来，锣鼓喧天，村民的心也随之沸腾起来。听到这盼望已久的声音，小孩子们更是欢呼雀跃，心花怒放。

农家小院里平时只有自家人进进出出，可是现在不同了，左邻右舍过家串户，制作精美的，多姿多彩的灯笼挂满了院子，人们观赏着五彩缤纷的艺术品，个个赞不绝口。

随着夜幕的降临，家家户户的灯笼挂满了村子，孩子们都拿着自己心爱的灯笼，漆黑的夜晚随着时间而变得明亮。孩子们走在街上嬉戏着，大人们也结伴走在大街上议论着今年的灯笼，年轻的帅小伙有时还会碰见心上人呢!

家长的元宵节，不但闹出了村中的喜气洋洋，也为新的一年来闹来了希望，为村民们闹出了五谷丰登，闹得人们个个喜笑颜开，满面春风，精神抖擞。元宵节已过，勤劳的村民又走上了田埂上开始新的一年劳作。

这就是我家乡的元宵节。

When it es to the food safety incidents， especially 2008 Chinese milk

scandal， every consumer has much anger to pour upon them。 In September 2008， a

fresh outbreak of kidney disease occurred， due to baby formula contaminated by

melamine.Three babies died and over 6，000 were made sick by the tainted formula。

The supplier of the milk， Sanlu Group， is a name brand and is a major player in

the industry in China。 The pany is said to have known of the problem for months，

but claims the contaminant came from milk suppliers.

Who should be main responsible for these serious incidents like milk

scandal? On one hand， plex China’s food regulations should shoulder part

duties.We should realized its monitoring system can be unresponsive， and the

government departments that oversee and enforce policies have overlapping and

often ambiguous duties。 On the other， food producers and suppliers lack deserved

responsibility for consumers! What they cares is only their own interest and

profit maximization.

In my opinion ，everyone involved in it should set up a high responsibility

for others， law related should be passed and carried out.Only in this way can we

e by a healthy eating and a harmonious world.

To begin with, trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, which offer

us fresh air. As greenhouse effect is getting more and more serious, planting

more trees is an effective way to respond to it.

Apart from this, it is tree that stabilizes soils and prevents them from

being eroded by floods. Besides, trees can be applied to against desert.

Moreover, trees perform the function of the regulation of air temperature and

humidity. This benefit to people’s fitting to the environment.

Last but not least, trees are a kind of material of paper making, which

makes our life and communication between people more convenient.

From what has been mentioned above, we can get the conclusion that trees

improve both our environment and life, it is necessary for us to plant more

trees.

Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. Some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

Rise and shine on Christmas morning! The children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. Present wrappers everywhere! They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. Children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. The Christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. The tradition of Christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. The rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.
