There is no doubt that we all want to be successful. But what’s the main

chinese started to celebrate the lantern festival from the han dynasty (206 bc - 221 ad). like most other chinese festivals, there is also a story behind the festival. it is also believed that the festival has taoist origins.

this is a festival for people having fun. on the night of the festival, people go on streets with a variety of lanterns under the full moon, watching lions or dragon dancing, playing chinese riddles and games, and lighting up firecrackers. there is really a lot of fun for the young and the old.

yuanxiao (glutinous rice ball) or tangyuan is the special food for the lantern festival. it is believed that yuanxiao is named after a palace maid, yuanxiao, of emperor wu di of the han dynasty. yuanxiao is a kind of sweet dumpling, which is made with sticky rice flour filled with sweet stuffing.

yuanxiao is sticky, sweet and round in shape, symbolizing family unity, completeness and happiness.

正月初一那天，天气晴朗，万里无云，我和爸爸，妈妈，小表叔一起去公园划船。到了公园，人真多呀!连划船都要排成长长的队伍，爸爸去买了船票，我们在那里排队等了一个多小时，好不容易才等到了一个空船，我们赶快上了船。

我和小表叔坐在船的最前面，爸爸妈妈坐在后面。我和小表叔轮着掌握方向盘，爸爸妈妈在后面蹬着划船。我们在水里转来转去，玩的高兴极了。正在高兴时，忽然看见我们的船正直直往正前方的一条手划船上撞去，把划船的叔叔阿姨吓的赶紧转弯，把我们俩笑的肚子疼。妈妈说我没掌握好方向便让小表叔掌握方向，我想抵赖，于是就说：“还没到时间呢!”小表叔好象知道我在骗他，就说：“哥，时间是不是到了。”我爸爸说：“时间到了，浩悦让你小表叔来掌握方向。”我极不情愿的让给了他。也不知道今天是怎么了，总有船和我们相撞，刚才我们撞人家的船，现在又有人家的船来撞我们，我们的船劲大，把它撞的转了个弯，又把我和小表叔乐得哈哈大笑。又有一条汽船朝我们驶过来了，爸爸叫我们赶快转弯，我们立刻就转弯躲了过去。

我们看到岸上有人在跳舞便把船划了过去看，看的正美时，岸上有人说我们的船时间到了，叫我们停船靠岸，我们很快把船划了过去，上了岸便回家了。

那天我和小表叔玩的太开心啦!既划了船又知道怎样掌握船的方向，这事就是我寒假里最有趣的一件事。

Since I went to middle school, I grew up very fast. On the one hand, I live

from life by myself. Without parents by my side all the time, I learn to face

and stronger. Now I can deal with my stuff alone.

我爱我们的元宵节元宵节是一个美好的节日，它聚集了劳动人民的智慧与技艺的结晶——花灯，同时也是继中国传统节日——春节后的第二个大节，下面请随着我的拙笔去欣赏一下吧!元宵节俗称花灯会，每年农历正月十五便是了。到了那时候大街小巷全挤满了人。有的在卖灯，有的在赏灯，还有的摆弄着自己刚买来的灯……到处都是灯。各式各样的灯充满了中国人民的智慧。在很早以前，古人便做了不同的灯如：莲花灯，兔子灯，许愿灯，平安灯……如今，在众多的灯中还有它们的传人。孩子们纷纷向爸爸妈妈要钱，卖来自己喜爱的灯在大街上拉来拉去，玩得高兴极了!许多大人们也童心不老，手里提着花灯悠然地边走边摆弄。还有的买只平安灯保佑他们一家子在新的一年里平平安安。我们宿迁，虽然市小，但花灯一点也不逊色。去年，我也有幸进城观赏了一番。

啊!这么多灯啊，全都是点着的，我走到街中心的楼上一看，美极了，这么多灯连成了一个荷花形状，一片片是那么亮那么夺目，引得游人们驻足痴望。

哦!告诉你们一个好消息，明天，就是元宵节了，有兴趣的可以来到我们宿迁瞧一瞧，保证你看了，下次还想再来。啊!祖国真好，我为我是中国人感到骄傲，我为我们伟大的节日骄傲，我爱我们祖国的节日。此时我最想说：“祖国母亲，我爱您。”
