春节过后，就迎来了元宵节。在中国，人们在正月十五庆祝元宵节。这一天意味着短暂的新年假日结束了。在这新的一年，人们会带着最好的祝愿回到他们的工作岗位上。在这个节日里，吃的玩的都是十分丰富而且有趣的。汤圆，是最重要也是最传统的食品——外面包裹着甜软的糯米皮，而里面填满了花生或芝麻馅料。这个小小的糯米球象征着阖家团圆，及对家庭最美好的祝愿。除了和父母亲戚一起吃饭之外，还有许许多多的活动等着你。看花灯、猜谜语是元宵节的传统组成部分。最有趣的是谜语都写在花灯上。晚饭过后，一家人就高高兴兴的去大街上看花灯，猜谜语，享受着这幸福的时光。

在每个城市，都有条大街作为花灯展的主会场。在这个特别的日子，各式各样的巨大花灯发出像白昼一样的光芒，照亮了赏灯的人们，也照亮了漆黑的夜。在这一刻，任何言语都不能表达心中的喜悦之情。赏花灯，猜谜语，吃汤圆，和我们爱的人在一起，想着美好的未来，所有的一切，都值得了。

Guangzhou is the capital of guangdong. it is the biggest city in south china. and it is one of the most important cities in guangdong.

The population of guangzhou is more than 700 million. just like many cities， there are a lot of cars， buses and trucks. so the air in the city is not clean. guangzhou is a noisy and crowded city. but i like it best. because guangzhou is my home.

new high school life is both exciting and challenging for me. first, im in a new environment with my new teachers and new classmates. many of them are all from top middle schools in the area. im so excited to meet them all. the new school building is designed creatively and attractively. i loved it . my new teachers are nice and them teach very weel. they are always willing to answer my questions at the end of the class. second, i have to take some new subjects and choose some subjects myself. i liked that because it gives students freedom and i can develop more in my areas of interest. third, im glad to join into some of the clubs and activities in my school. they are very interesting and i could learn more social experience through those activities. im proud to be in this new school and i wish that i can unleash my potential and achieve my best in this school.

The New Life A few months ago, I was a primary pupil. I had many good friends and teachers that I remember all the time. My new life is very exciting. I’m in Dongzhou Middle School. It’s famous in Jiangsu. It’s bigger and more beautiful than the primary school. I love it very much. I’m in Cla10, Grade 7. It’s a good class. The students are clever, nice, friendly and helpful. All my classmates study hard. They want to be on the top. I get up at 5:30. Sometimes I read English, sometimes I learn Chinese. Studying is very / interesting. I’m sure our clawill get better and better. I like my new class, the new school and the new life.

The first major wall was built during the reign of the First Emperor, the main emperor of the short-lived Qin dynasty. A defensive wall on the northern border was built and maintained by several dynasties at different times in Chinese history. The Great Wall that can still be seen today was built during the Ming Dynasty, on a much larger scale and with longer lasting materials (solid stone used for the sides and the top of the Wall) than any wall that had been built before. The primary purpose of the wall was not to keep out people, who could scale the wall, but to insure that semi-nomadic people on the outside of the wall could not cross with their horses or return easily with stolen property.

Lantern Festival is a China’s traditional festival. It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.

I,antern Festival is one of the biggest holidays in China. Several days before Lantern Festival, people begin to make lanterns. Lanterns are made in the shape of different animals, vegetables, fruits and many, other things. While making lanterns people usually write riddles on lanterns. On the eve of Lantern Festival, all the lanterns are hung up.

On Lantern Festival people go outside to have a look at the lanterns and guess the riddles on the lanterns. Perhaps you call see some wonderful folk performances,Dragon Dance and Yangko. Everything is very interesting and everyone is very happy. Our life is rich and varied.

I have to say that music really has a strong attractiveness to me. Naturally, everyone can choose suitable music to listen to. When you feel sad, you can have a try to listen to soothing music. At first, soothing music will let you calm down.
