As we may know from various sources, the government recently adopted a policy called "restore the farmland to the forest"(退耕还林).This has brought much hope to the forest of our country as well as the sustainable development of our country.

Pollution: a Social Problem

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to usbecause. it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.

我期待已久的元宵节终于来临了，吃过团圆饭后，我们一大家子人便走向烟花燃放的地点——北区。

由于换了新地方，我们不知道具体位置，不知不觉到了一个死角，只听耳边传来“噼里啪啦”的响声，原来不等我们抵达目的地，烟花都开始“跳舞”了。我们只好在荒山野岭看着，旁边有一座古老的房子，让我们不寒而栗，还好有烟花的陪伴，温暖了我们的心房。

最先迎接我们是如“瀑布”般的烟花，“瀑布”喷涌而下，虽然我们距离烟花燃放地点很远，但感觉巨大的“瀑布”迎面而下，好像就要落到我们身上。“瀑布”消失后烟云飘绕，添加了节日的气氛。

弟弟妹妹提着灯笼在那里“哇塞、哇塞”的赞叹烟花的美丽。过了一会，突然，他俩的尖叫声打破了短暂的宁静：“你们快看，是降落伞!”只见降落伞“嗖”的一声窜上了天空，随着豆子裂开似的“噼啪噼啪”的响声，空中展开了一朵朵灿烂的烟花，接着就出现了许多红绿相间的降落伞。弟弟妹妹很快又转喜为忧：“哎，要是我能接到降落伞就好了”。一个一个降落伞闪着光芒降落，就像一条条毛毛虫，最终它们被一幢幢房屋掩埋。

接着，传统的烟花又开始了。一束烟炮直冲向天空好像要穿透云层，只听见“咚”的一声，一张巨大的“天罗地网”向我们扑来。落到半空时，那张神奇的大网却又像流星雨一样消失的无影无踪。

“小老鼠”也是颇为精彩的传统烟花节目，一只只在鞭炮里藏了很久“小老鼠”“咻”的窜上了天，急不可待迸发出来了，消逝在空气中。

一朵朵烟花，一束束烟炮，就这样不断的绽放在空中，随着时间的流逝，烟花结束了，元宵节也将离我们远去。我们却回味着美丽的瞬间，激动的心情久久不能平息。

“哇”我的眼随着香味飞去，捞上一大块肉再说，嘻嘻!

吃过晚饭，夜暮便笼罩了周围的一切，我们便决定去天鹅广场赏月。

我一边走，月亮也一边走，我走快，它也走快;我走慢，它也走慢。一抬头，一个又圆又大又高的大圆盘吊在空中，仿佛是天上最耀眼的一颗明星，周围的星星也不羞涩，与月亮互相媲美，仿佛在说：“你看，十五的光彩全被你一个霸了，怎么也得让我沾光沾光!”

突然，我的眼被吸人眼睛的猜灯谜给迷住了，我连忙拉着家人去凑热闹。

“猜对有奖，猜对有奖!”此时，叔叔拉开了嗓门，尽情地招引人们，没等位叔叔说完，游玩的人们早已开始抢迷谜了，有的偷偷翻工具书，有的则互相探讨，或开窍了，高高兴兴地竞换奖品去了，好热闹!

夜越来越深，广场的游玩人们也愈多，大人小孩们交集在一起，像大师手下的生动图画，又好似热火朝天的伙伴，在洒开烦恼“疯”玩。

突然，不知从哪里飘来一股浓浓的袖子香味，哦，原来妈妈剥开了这香甜可口的东西，果汁从里面渗透出来，哇，好香呀!我连忙咬上了一口，嗯，一个字：“香”!吃完了还在慢慢回味呢!

时候不早了，我又望了望正在捉迷藏，打气球，猜灯谜，放烟火的人们……

Water Pollution

With the development of industry, water pollution isbecoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.

We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

In the distance, the flashing lighthouse attracted me. It took us a lot of effort to squeeze into the front. The high lighthouse is inlaid with beautiful neon lights, red, blue, yellow, green and colorful. It stands in the middle of the square. It is very beautiful.

After a while, we came to the park again. There are many lights hanging here, especially those flashing in the willows. There are lovely doll lights, beautiful peacock lights and golden ingot lights, which are really unforgettable.

正月十五元宵节是中国的传统节日，今年我度过了一个特殊而热闹的无宵夜。

说特殊，因为这是我第一次不在家过节。以前，每年正月十五，我们全家早早就准备好了去看花灯，每年，我都能欣赏到漂亮新颖、五彩缤纷的花灯，还会看到美丽迷人、五颜六色的焰火。听妈妈说，张掖的灯展比临泽更清亮，所以，我征得爸妈同意，到舅舅家过元宵。

舅舅早早就煮好了汤圆，圆圆的，从口甜到心，但我只吃了几个就缠着舅舅带我去观灯。

到了广场，啊，真是人山人海，四周挂满了大大小小、形态各异的花灯，让人目不暇接。有火红的金鱼灯，象征奥运的福娃灯，开屏的孔雀灯……今年是马年，马当然是主角了，有马闹春灯，牧童戏马灯，斗马灯，一排排闪亮的马灯祝福人们今年身体一马当先，事业一马当先，生活越来越好。

远处，一闪一闪的灯塔吸引了我，我们费了好大的劲才挤到前面，高高的灯塔上镶着漂亮的霓虹灯，红的，蓝的，黄的，绿的，五彩纷呈，耸立在广场中央，美丽极了。

过了一会，我们又来到了公园，这里也挂了许多灯，特别是闪烁在柳树丛中的，有可爱娃娃灯，美丽的孔雀灯，金灿灿的元宝灯，真叫人念念不忘啊。

这时，随着轰轰的声响，广场的天空一下子亮了起来，噢，原来是开始放焰火了，这可是我最期待的了，只见焰火像一朵朵漂亮的花在空中绽放，又缓缓消失，有的像美丽的流星一样划过天际，有的像天女散花一般，从远处的天空慢慢飘落，美丽极了。

正月十五的张掖多么热闹，元宵节的夜景多么迷人啊!

I like teamwork because I can learn from others. Once, I was very shy and

did not know how to get along with other students, so everytime when the teacher

gave us the task and asked us to finish in the teamwork, I was very scared. Then

my classmates helped me, they gave me a lot opinion and they respected me,

making me the indispensable person. Then I became brave and gave my opinion, we

were in a group, every opinion meant so much. During these days, I was so

excited about the experiment, we shared our idea and talked happily. It was such

a happy moment, I liked cooperation.

I went to visit the Great Wall this summer.Last week ,my mother took me to Beijing by train,the city of Beijing was really nice,we visited the Tiananme and took some pictures,then we came to a resturant to have dinner,at the table,I met some Forigners,we became friends and they left their E-mail to me ,I enjoyed this trip very much!
