What the novel is described is an old fisherman almost the sixty years old, when go to sea and fish alone once, have angled to a big fish, but can not draw. Chong yang, the traditional Chinese festival for the elderly, is coming around. We are planning to visit

Nursing Home to celebrate the special day, and we would like to invite students from your school to join us.

We have planned several activities. When we get there, we will visit the elderly in their rooms in groups,

presenting them with flowers and self-made cards to show our respect and love. Then we will do some

cleaning and washing for them wi th the help of the nurses.

As some old people feel lonely, we may chat with them about their old days, changes of our city, or

anything they are interested in. We may also give them some performances: singing, dancing, and so on.

I am sure we will both gain a better understanding of the elderly in China. If you have any suggestions,

心中坚持着一定的信念，只要信念还在，未来的一切就在自己的把握中。这是《海底两万里》告诉我的道理。

《海底两万里》是凡尔纳着著名的三部曲的第二部。这部作品叙述法国生物学者阿龙纳斯在海洋深处旅行的故事。

书中的主人公尼摩船长是一个带有浪漫、神秘色彩，非常吸引人的人物。在南极缺氧的时候，当时只有潜水服上的储蓄罐里还有一丝空气，那时由于缺乏空气，他们几乎虚脱。这时，尼摩船长没有去吸最后一丝空气来维持生命，而是把生还的机会留给了教授。他为了别人的生命而不惜牺牲自己的生命，他的行为感动了无数读者，也感动了我。真的很佩服尼摩船长的勇气，和他那见到朋友有危险的时候就会奋不顾身的去营救的精神。

当时海上发现了一只被断定为独角鲸的大怪物，频频袭击各国海轮，搅得人心惶惶。阿尤那斯博士明明知道此去是多么的危险他还是接受邀请参加追捕，这种精神让我佩服不已。

或许当时尼莫船长和阿尤那斯博士在环游的时候遇到那么多的困难，也是因为心中有信念，有积极的态度，才得以渡过难关的吧。

蓦然想起那个寒假，我因为一直引以为傲的考试成绩一落千丈而一直闷闷不乐。于是外公带我出去散步。猛然间看到一幅奇异的景色：视线穿越过层层阻挡，竟然看到了一片粉红。走近再瞧，一株株梅花正招摇着一身的艳丽向我挥手。我心中一颤，再看，那副鲜嫩欲滴的样子又突然间消失了，转而却是一脸的孤傲。我不解，于是慢慢地走近她，将鼻尖凑上去。啊!真想不到，冬天，竟还可以嗅到这么浓的芬芳香气，我似乎已经陶醉其中了。就在这时，外公说“知道他们为什么在这严寒的冬天还依然绽放吗?因为它们心中还坚持着战胜严冬的信念啊，只要信念还在，生的活力就有了，生的芬芳就会绽放的。”

这只不过是一次小小考试的失败，我不能因此被打败。我既然选择了，就行动，就要坚持，既然行动了，便一直向前，不再回头了。现在好好努力去做，珍惜现在的时光，好好把握现在的生命，未来的一切也都在自己的掌握之中!

水浒传它真实地描写了宋代农民起义，发展和失败的全过程，揭露了封建社会的黑暗和腐朽，及统治阶级的罪恶。它以杰出的艺术描写手段，揭示了中国封建社会中农民起义的发生，发展和失败过程的一些本质方面，说明造成农民起义的根本原因是"官逼民反"。

读完全书，印在我脑海里挥之不去的只有两个字：忠，义。

忠，即是对自己的祖国，对自己身边的亲人，朋友尽心竭力。宋江在种种威逼利诱之下，仍然对自己的祖国忠心耿耿，这就是忠;林冲的妻子在林冲被逼上梁山之后，对高俅之子的凌辱，宁死不屈，最终上吊自杀，这也是忠。在当今这个社会中，相信很多人都能做到一个“忠”字，但是，却很少有人能够做到一个“义”字。

一个“义”字，包括了太多的内容。《水浒传》中一百零八好汉为兄弟，为朋友赴汤蹈火，两肋插刀，就只为了一个“义”字;为人民除暴安良，出生入死，也只为一个“义”字。由此可见，一个“义”字虽然只有三笔，有时却要用一个人的生命去写。在现实生活中，给人让座几乎谁都可以做得到，但救人于危难之中却不是谁都可以做到的。因为它需要有相当的勇气，甚至是一命换一命的决心。

这部以北宋末年社会为历史背景的小说揭露了当时社会的黑暗。可以说，人民的反抗和复仇权力，在《水浒传》中得到了有力的伸张……

Published in 1847, Wuthering Heights was not well received by the reading public, many of whom condemned it as sordid, vulgar, and unnatural--and author Emily Bronte went to her grave in 1848 believing that her only novel was a failure. It was not until 1850, when Wuthering Heights received a second printing with an introduction by Emilys sister Charlotte, that it attracted a wide readership. And from that point the reputation of the book has never looked back. Today it is widely recognized as one of the GREat novels of English literature.

Even so, Wuthering Heights continues to divide readers. It is not a pretty love story; rather, it is swirling tale of largely unlikeable people caught up in obsessive love that turns to dark madness. It is cruel, violent, dark and brooding, and many people find it extremely unpleasant. And yet--it possesses a grandeur of language and design, a sense of tremendous pity and GREat loss that sets it apart from virtually every other novel written.

The novel is told in the form of an extended FLASHback. After a visit to his strange landlord, a newcomer to the area desires to know the history of the family--which he receives from Nelly Deans, a servant who introduces us to the Earnshaw family who once resided in the house known as Wuthering Heights. It was once a cheerful place, but Old Earnshaw adopted a "Gipsy" child who he named Heathcliff. And Catherine, daughter of the house, found in him the perfect companion: wild, rude, and as proud and cruel as she. But although Catherine loves him, even recognizes him as her soulmate, she cannot lower herself to marry so far below her social station. She instead marries another, and in so doing sets in motion an obsession that will destroy them all.

Wuthering Heights is a bit difficult to "get into;" the opening chapters are so dark in their portrait of the end result of this obsessive love that they are somewhat off-putting. But they feed into the flow of the work in a remarkable way, setting the stage for one of the most remarkable structures in all of literature, a story that circles upon itself in a series of repetitions as it plays out across two generations. Catherine and Heathcliff are equally remarkable, both vicious and cruel, and yet never able to shed their impossible love no matter how brutally one may wound the other.

As the novel coils further into alcoholism, seduction, and one of the most elaborately imagined plans of revenge it gathers into a ghostly tone: Heathcliff, driven to madness by a woman who is not there but who seems reflected in every part of his world--dragging her corpse from the grave, hearing her calling to him from the moors, escalating his brutality not for the sake of brutality but so that her memory will never fade, so that she may never leave his mind until death itself. Yes, this is madness, insanity, and there is no peace this side of the grave or even beyond.

It is a stunning novel, frightening, inexorable, unsettling, filled with unbridled passion that makes one cringe. Even if you do not like it, you should read it at least once--and those who do like it will return to it again and again.

《老人与海 》描写的是一个年近六旬的老渔夫，在一次单身出海打鱼时，钓到了一条大鱼，却拉不上来。老渔夫同大鱼周旋了几天后，才发现这是一条超过自己渔船数倍的大马林鱼，虽然明知难以取胜，但仍不放弃。后来又因大马林鱼伤口上的鱼腥味引来了几群鲨鱼抢食，但老人不愿这样放弃，最终突出重围，将大鱼的骨头带回了渔港，让其他渔夫佩服不已。

当我读到爷爷与鲨鱼进行激烈的搏斗时，我真为爷爷担心，可是爷爷，总是保持着乐观的精神去面对一些极大的困难，看到这里，我不由得想起自己。每当我遇到了一些困难时，总是觉得很不顺心，觉得很烦，很想逃避现实。再看看桑提阿果爷爷，不管遇到任何困难也毫不退缩，而是勇敢地去面对！

做人也应该这样，不要一幅贪生怕死的样子，要对自己有信心。即使我们遇到重重困难，也绝不应该让它给打倒，应该勇敢地去消灭它。

我们是祖国的未来，应该像桑提阿果爷爷一样胸怀大志，去追求更好，更大的目标。我相信，在我的努力下，我一定会变得像桑提阿果爷爷那样勇敢，那样勇于拼搏。

my favorite book my favorite book is wrote by antoine de saint-exupery. i still remember the first time i read the book, i was like in a fantastic world. the little prince is a boy who has an angelical heart, his life is also very simple-a small planet which is full of flowers and monkey bread tree seedlings. the little prince is always depressed, and when he was sad, he would sit on a chair and see the sunset. he even see forty-three times sunset in a day to make himself feel better. his life turned to a new appearance when a beautiful rose came out. she is a flower with proud, when her lie was exposed by the little prince, she felt embarrassed. the small misunderstanding between them made the little prince determined to leave the planet he lived on. on his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. from these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the sahara, on the earth.

I once read a book named “Charlottes Web ".It talks about a very moving story which is one of the most remarkablely beautiful memory in my childhood.

This is the gist of the story.Pig Wilbur and the spider Charlotte live in so perfect accord with each other that they built sincere friendship. However, a bad news came like a bolt from the blue: Wilbur will be killed on the Christmas day! "You never die, Ill save you!"by Charlotte when Wilbur was wailing "I dont want to die!" To fulfill her promise, Charlotte devoted all her lifetime and asked no rewards, until the moment she died.

After I had read the book,I was in contemplative mood. Only leaving the selfless love and pure kindness，Charlottes own time was at an end. When this sort of emotion has already been lacked seriously in contemporary society, this story undoubtedly moves the readers.

According to my point，we need such kind of friendship in our life,so we must learn from Charlotte. As they old saying goes”A friend in need is a friend in deed”。We should help our friends as much as we could when they needed. Let us go into action, let the world become especially fine.
