Having read the book Sister Carrie written by Theodore Dreiser,a very complicate feeling struck me,for the society,the people in America in the late 19th century.We can see clearly about the decadent and hypocritical moral principles of the bourgeois.They pursue only position,authority and money.Pleasure is their honest companion.

The society was developing rapidly and the people"s living standards were also improving.Yes,the prosperity appeared.But on the other hand,the gap between the poor and the rich was strengthened.While some people were playing and drinking,the other people were working,even begging.Behind the happiness,hiding much misery.Facing all of these,I am confused whether I should happy about the development of the society or I should sad about the cruel.

But I know I will give much sympathy to all of these people,no matter they rich or poor.I am sorry that the rich have lost their good morality,their sympathy and I think they are blank in their spiritThe poor,of course,are busy all the day for supporting themselves and their family,no time enjoying the life.All of them are the sacrifices of the society.

In this book,,only Sister Carrie can present us all of these.At first,she was poor.She had to work hard,but only made ends meet.She admired the pleasure, quick to understand the keener pleasures of life, ambitious to gain in material things.You know, Of an intermediate balance, under the circumstances, there is no possibility. 虽然武松遇到老虎时有些害怕，但最后他还是战胜了那只猛虎，在学习的过程中，我们有时也会遇到一些困难，但只要我们有武松一样的精神，不慌张，不退缩，利用自己的聪明才智去解决困难从而战胜困难，努力学习从而成为学习上的“打虎英雄”。

我像很多读者一样，感兴趣的时候便像发泄一般，写一篇抒发情感的读后感。这次我阅读的是美国作家海明威的著作《老人与海》，这是一本另很多人深思的书，理解也有不同，但在大范围而言却也免不了千人一面的恶俗。

作者笔下深刻出的人物形象，那是一个年过六旬的老人，准确的说是一个老渔夫。他一个人出海打鱼，似乎我们可以想象的到，那是一个多么茕茕孑立的情景，但老人不以为然。从中看出的是勇气，还有不朽的雄心，哪怕最后壮志难酬。老人先前经历过许多次的失败，对于现代社会安逸享乐的人们怕是早已丢盔弃甲，可是老人并没有，这是一种永不言弃的精神是一种人们严重缺乏的强大精神。

一个老人可以是疲倦苍老的，毕竟岁月确实剥夺了他奋起的决心，让他拖着满是风霜侵蚕食过的躯体，布满沟渠的脸上深陷的眼睛中，或许只能留下晦暗不清。但然而作者笔下的老人更胜很多青壮年，经过84天没有捕到一条鱼却仍然凭着坚忍不拔的毅力，带着恍若固执的决心，义无反顾的同大海搏斗，最终战胜“大马林鱼”，虽然已经被鲨鱼吃光，但哪怕只是留下的白色鱼骨，也确确实实的象征着那么一个“硬汉”形象。

《老人与海》这本海明威的著作，令许多人深思感慨的小说。时时刻刻歌颂着老人不畏艰辛，奋勇向前的精神也告诉着人们记住永不言败的重要性，哪怕最后的结果是失败，但至少你经历过！我们不能永远安于现状，要做一匹值得鞭策的马，跑上辉煌的高峰。没有半途而废，没有自哀自怜，这样。我们才能获得更大的成功和胜利。

I am convinced that few books are as good as this one. To be honest, I hadn’t maintained that this book would appeal me before I read it. However, I was absorbed in the book from the first chapter to the last one. Why this book has appealed to me that much? I asked myself. This book is not my type of reading for only romantic books could draw my attention successfully. Then I came into a conclusion that it is the friendship and familyship fascinated me.

To the world you are one person, but to the person who loves you, you are the world. Amir was Hassan’s world. Amir’s name had been the first word Hassan spoke. Hassan threatened brutal Assef for the sake of Amir. Hassan never failed to run the kite to please Amir. Hassan sacrificed himself for Amir’s house. These are more than a friend would do. Only those who loves you so much could challenge himself to do what Hassan did to Amir.To Hassan, Amir was not only a mere friend but a brother. He loved Amir more than anything else. Even after Amir betrayed him, he still told his son proudly“Agan Amir is my best friend”.Maybe for Hassan “for you, a thousand times over” has another meaning, which is not just kite running for Amir but he will do anything for Amir.

If Hassan could be described as an angel, then Amir was just a person. I did hate Amir for he watched Hassan be raped and did nothing, for he made Hassan leave his born-place, for he aimed Hassan with fruit(even though he actually tried to make himself get punished). Amir didn’t deserve what Hassan did to him. I thought his meanness caused Hassan’s tragedy. But after I finished the book, I realized it is not Hassan’s tragedy, it is Amir’s. For what he had done to Hassan, he had led a live with regret and suffered endless sleepless nights. His going back to Afghanistan is not only a journey physically but a journey to atonement. Hassan’s son, his nephew saved, Amir’s sin was finally washed. Like the life of circle, Amir ran kite for his miserable nephew.As Hassan did to him, he said “for you , a thousand times over” to Sohrab.Though the book doesn’t give us an accurate ending whether Sohrab came into life again. I am sure love can cure everything. Only when Sohrab lives a happy life as Hassan hoped can Amir’s sin washed up.

The friendship between Hassan and Amir moved me. I believe All the people who read it is going to be touched just as I am. This book does make me think the good and the bad ,what’s wrong and what’s right, the cruelty of war . Few books can exert an influence on people nowadays, this book sure does.

These days, I read the book "pride and prejudice", immediately mixed feelings in the heart, mind, and Im ripping mad. "Pride and prejudice" mainly about the British in the 19th century social middle class farmer Mr Daughters of romantic story. Eldest daughter JiAn gentleness docile, beautiful, with weak character of rich kids bentley love at first sight, but at a crucial moment had twists and turns. Second daughter, Elizabeth smart beautiful, have ambition, have definite view, darcy met with riches. 这几天，我读了《傲慢与偏见》这本书，心中顿时百感交集，思绪万千，心情久久不能平静。《傲慢与偏见》主要讲的是英国19世纪处于社会中产阶层的农场主柏纳特先生几个女儿的婚恋故事。大女儿姬安温柔善良，美丽可人，与性格软弱的富家子弟宾利一见倾心，但在关键时刻却产生了波折。二女儿伊丽莎白聪慧清丽，有志气，有主见，与家产万贯的达西相识。达西性格内向，孤僻高傲，却对伊丽沙白独立倔强的个性产生了爱慕，可他的第一次求爱却遭到了拒绝，最后达西发现伊丽莎白身上具有不图富贵，追求真情的可贵品质。同时，宾利也得到朋友的支持与姬安再次相见，两对新人便结成了眷属。

通过读这本书，我了解到19世纪初期英国社会上层与中层不同阶级之间在联姻上的门第观念和世事人情，以及作者塑造的真正的爱情可以超越不同阶层的对立，消除傲慢，消除偏见，达到完美婚姻的这一理想境界。

当我读完《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，我便认识了一位伟大的“铁人”，没错，他就是保尔·柯察金，一位具有钢铁精神的、为了革命事业而努力奋斗一生的“铁人”。

《钢铁是怎样炼成的》以主人公保尔·柯察金的生活经历为线索，展现了从1915年到1930年前后苏俄广阔的历史画面和人民艰苦卓绝的斗争生活。这本书成功的塑造了保尔·柯察金这一无产阶级英雄形象，他当过童工，从小就在社会最低层饱受折磨和欺辱;之后，他走上了革命的道路，并经历了一系列的人生挑战，但他始终没有屈服过，这些困难挫折与人生挑战反而使他更加坚强，最终他以顽强的毅力进行了写作，用另一种方式实践着他生命的誓言。

在他的身上，我看到了世上最完美、最宝贵的品质，那就是他钢铁般的意志和顽强奋斗的高贵品质。这些完美宝贵的品质让保尔·柯察金不管是在社会的最底层饱受欺辱、在战场上奋命搏杀、在感情上波波折折，还是在工地上的磨练，都没能使他倒下，反而让他变得更加坚强!

“人最宝贵的生命，生命属于每个人仅有一次。人的一生应当这样度过。回首往事，不应虚度年华而悔恨，也不因碌碌无为而羞愧，临终时能说：我的整个生命和全部精力都献给了世界上最壮丽的事业——为人类的解放而斗争。”当我读到这句话时，我的心头为之一震，是啊，每个人都是有意义的，每个人都应当将努力地、用一生将自我的生命演绎到最完美、最灿烂。不能为了那些无聊的琐事而浪费时间、浪费生命，而应当为了自我的梦想、自我的目标而努力、而奋斗，绝不能虚度年华、碌碌无为。

作为中学生，我们更应当学习保尔·柯察金的不向挫折和困难低头、坚强的应对人生及遇到的不幸的精神，用顽强的意志铸就一个伟大的灵魂。我们应当坚信：既然上天给了我们宝贵的生命，我们就得让它变得更有意义、更有价值!为了自我的梦想而奋斗一生!

《老人与海》主要讲了一位桑地亚哥的老翁一次特别的打鱼的经历。连续八十四天没有打上一条鱼。在第二天，他非常幸运地一条巨大的马林鱼，于是展开了一场殊死搏斗。

这条马林鱼是他平生见到的的一条鱼了，那条鱼比他的小船还长2英尺呢！马林鱼的身体大，力气自然也大。马林鱼在大海上托着老人两天两夜，可想而知这两天老人尽力怎样的经历！想必是马林鱼在大海上分离挣扎，企图逃回大海。老人为了驯服马林鱼。累的筋疲力尽，皮开肉绽，他依然没有像马林鱼屈服。凭着顽强的意志，用利刃把马林鱼驯服系在船头。紧接着是最不幸运的是发生了：一群嗅着血腥味而来的鲨鱼鱼已经筋疲力尽的老人开始打架。随人老人保住了生命，但是鲨鱼们吃光了大马林鱼，老人只能拖着一副光秃秃骨架回家……但最终通过老人坚持不懈的努力，终于道道了一条大鱼。

在我们生活中经常有一些人失败了，很是气馁，因为失败在许多人的眼中是非常可怕、的，他一旦猖狂起来，就能击溃人的斗志，让人们彻底崩溃，从而失去生活的希望。但是如果失败被人踩在脚下，那么成功比属于你。

人生的道路是曲折坎坷的，遇到失败是在平常不过的是了，我们应该时时刻刻用一颗坚强、不屈服的心面对失败，成功一定会向我们走来。

我读过很多本书，我最喜欢读的就是《一千零一夜》，其中让我感受最深的是《理发师和洗染匠》的故事。这个故事的主要内容是：吉尔通过自己有一家染坊来骗取别人的钱财，后来有的人忍无可忍了就把吉尔告上了法庭，于是吉尔想和别人溜之大吉，因为他自己是不会干活的，后来他通过用一些花言巧语骗了理发师舒尔和他一起去外地工作，理发师在船上靠帮助客人理发来换取食物，而吉尔却在自己的房间里等着舒尔带回来食物。

后来舒尔生病了，于是吉尔就拿走了舒尔的钱走了，然后吉尔在这所城市里开了一家染坊，他将染出的布料给了国王后得到了国王的重赏，舒尔到了吉尔以后没想到吉尔会让他的仆人打他，后来舒尔想去澡堂里洗澡，可是这里没有澡堂，于是舒尔在国王的帮助下开了一个澡堂，吉尔的之后很不服气所以就蒙骗了舒尔，然后又恶人先告状让国王杀了舒尔，可是幸运的舒尔不仅没有死还帮了国王，于是国王给了他一次解释的机会，最后国王上了吉尔，然后舒尔又过上了幸福快乐的日子。

我感受到了吉尔的卑鄙和舒尔的宽容大量，只有诚实的人才能过上好日子，而那些卑鄙和不讲诚信的人就会受到应用的报应，就像这篇故事里的吉尔一样会得到死亡的命运，而舒尔却因为自己的宽容大量和诚实过上了幸福的生活。只有诚实守信才会有好下场。

Abstract: This film Shawshank Redemption describes a man called Andy Dufresne was sent to the prison for he murdered his wife but in fact he was innocent. Then he started fighting against with the wicked prison life. Though he suffered many unfair treatments and ordeals, he never gives up himself. Due to his intelligence and perseverance, he spend 20 years successfully escape from the prison as a redemption. He teaches me that never lose hope.

The story took place in 1940. A man who is a banker called Andy Dufresne, was sent into the Shawshank prison, for he murderer his wife and her lover in bed. However, he was innocent as he said. The new days in the prison were hard to live. It’s violent, heartless and cruel. Nevertheless, A month later, Andy began to make friends with other prisoners. And one of them called Red, who could get anything what he wanted. Andy bought a mallet from him and started his plan to escape. During this time, he did many things: expanding the library, caving stones, helping the corrupt warden to get money or bribe, etc. Then a young prisoner’s coming break his quiet life in jail. But the warden killed the young prisoner the only man that knew Andy was innocent. Then he knew the prison he could not stay any more. It took him 20 years to tunnel secretly and he successfully escaped from the prison. When he got free, Andy sent the evident which could prove the warden corruption, briber and murdering to the policy agency. Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.

The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption. This film impressed me a lot. A sentence was said in the film: ’Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it.’

In this film, as we can see, the Shawshank Prison, which enjails lots of people. They have been in the prison form many years ,so they won’t go abroad. Because they won’t and also they can’t. They lived here for years without hope, and they lived just in the small prison, where nobody knows what is their dream and what’s their hope. As I remember, a old man Brooks was released after he had been in the jail for 50 years. But he found that the world became completely different from the world he imagined. For example, he seldom see cars before. He felt very strange and helpless to the outside world He can hardly adapt to the new developed world. He would rather stay in the prison. So unfortunately he chose to commit suicide.

However, on the contrary, Andy said a converse sentence:’ Some birds aren"t meant to be caged, that"s all. Their feathers are just too bright’ He long for the freedom and strive for it! What I remember very clearly is someone said that These walls are kind of funny things like that. First, you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That is institutionalizing. But Andy hadn’t been affected. He insisted on his faith of freedom. He dared to pursue his deserved freedom! That’s the first point I appreciate.

What’s more, another thing I think is friendship. Of course, Andy’s perseverance and endeavor is the main reason that he succeed in escaping. But it can’t be denying that friendship is also a important reason. Without the friends’ help in the prison, especially red’s, He can’t break the prison, too. Even in the jail which is the most evil place that Andy could make it a significance place. He had transformed a storage room smelling of turpentine into the best prison library in New England. Then the prisoners read the books and got knowledge from it. Andy also helped them to pass the high school equivalency. The glitters of him lighted others’ life. That helps him built many sincere friendships in the prison. He just too bright that didn’t belong to the prison .Then he escape and gained the freedom.

Furthermore, the patience, courage and b willpower are the keys to escape. 20 years, not a short ordeal time, but he endured. He made his plan day by day, week by week and year by year. He never gives up. he took nearly twenty years to dip a tunnel with a little rock hammer which Red said it would take a man 600 years to tunnel under the wall with one of these to fight for his free .And he did it finally. Please imagine, crossing the tunnel he dup, he still should crawled through five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness. That is the length of five football fields.

Then is the last but not least, I think. He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent, and the most important thing----hope. Just as Andy said to Red: Hope is a good thing, may be the best of things. In this film, Andy show us that how good thing the hope is. Yes , hope is a good thing. Whatever it is, it can’t lock the hope. We all have dream. We all have hope. We all have it and please never give up, like Andy.

This film, Shawshank Redemption, teaches me a lot. It deserves to be one of the most overwhelming films in the Hollywood.

reading classics have significant implication for a person’s development. a sea of classic books are usually written by a lot of well-known folks. different kinds of books tell us their own special subjects, which teach us how to effectively do our jobs, carry out problems from different parts and do a successful man.

recently people who tend to read classics are shrinking, while in the past classic staff had a large popularity for all kinds of individuals. why does this phenomenon come out? the reason for this problem is from many aspects, mainly as follows.

the first reason is that people do not have enough time to read and reluctant to spend their valuable time in books. as the economic development is becoming increasingly fast, a multitude of characters surge into their money. in order to earn more incomes, they kill their all time in their jobs, and they even don’t want to take a little of their all time to read. the second reason for causing this phenomenon is next.

nowadays piracy books become growing popular, especially classics. this problem, to some extent, affects people’s moods and interests of reading classics. so a wealth of individuals of reading classics turn to dramatically shrinking.

from my own perspective, we, as college students, should read all kinds of books, including classics, to develop our own comprehensive and perfect knowledge. we should pay attention to the content of books, not the paper quality of books.

Many people like to read books, I also like reading, the book brings us a lot of fun, also let us understand a lot of truth. 有空时，我又会走进作文屋里，去看一看他们的生活和趣事，想一想如何丰富生活、丰富世界。总之，读书会给你带来许多乐趣，会丰富你的生活，丰富你的世界。我喜欢读书，因为我从学到了很多的知识和道理，我想对每个人大声说：“我爱读书，书中自有黄金屋。”

大家都读过中国的四大名著吧。《水浒传》《三国演义》，《红楼梦》，《西游记》当然，我十分喜欢，印象深刻的名著是明代小说家吴承恩写的《西游记》。《西游记》是一本古代的神魔小说。小说中的人物性格写的鲜明，让读者一读就懂，如猪八戒小说中的《偷吃人参果》这个故事说明了八戒十分贪吃的性格。

记得最吸引人的部分肯定是内容，内容主要以孙悟空，唐僧，沙和尚，猪八戒师徒四人,去西天取经的故事比较出名的故事有《三打白骨精》、《三借芭蕉扇》……

一读就让人如痴如醉，流连忘返，我觉得这本小说看的一篇是《三借芭蕉扇》，他讲了孙悟空，唐僧等四人来到了火焰山，要过此山就要用铁扇公主的芭蕉扇去火焰孙悟空第一次借芭蕉扇，因之前害了铁扇公主的儿子红孩儿而被铁扇公主用芭蕉扇，扇到了很远的地方，把它扇的无影无踪。

第二次孙悟空找到了灵吉菩萨，灵吉菩萨就给了他一颗定风丹，孙悟空吃了下去，又像铁扇公主来借芭蕉扇，铁扇公主用芭蕉扇扇走了孙悟空诞生悟空吃了定风丹，铁扇公主见它丝毫不动，就赶紧关闭大门。孙悟空变成了一条小小虫子，爬进了铁扇公主的茶杯，结果铁扇公主的肚子被他打的十分疼痛，铁扇公主把假的芭蕉扇借了他。之后孙悟空用扇子扇了几下，没灭火，反而还把火扇得更大了。孙悟空这才知道自己被铁扇公主的阴谋诡计给骗了。

第三次孙悟空变成了铁扇公主的丈夫牛魔王，但最后还是被真的牛魔王给识破了。最后哪吒把牛魔王收复了铁扇公主见此请就把芭蕉扇给了孙悟空，孙悟空就扇灭了火焰山的火焰，并把芭蕉扇还给了铁扇公主然后继续前往西天了。

这学期我们必读书里有一本《西游记》，这本书虽然是我第一次阅读，但对于西游记的故事我却并不陌生，而且还很熟。因为每年暑假我都要看上一遍西游记的电视剧。不管是看书还是看电视剧，每看一次心里都有不同的感触。

第一次看时，还是很小的时候，那时候觉得这个电视剧很好看，也很神奇，我被里面的每一个人物形象所吸引。看的次数多了，我发现自己熊从早悟出一些道理来，比如遇到因难不要退缩，坚持就是胜利，团结就是力量等，但对我感触最深的还是觉得人要学会感恩。书中唐僧感激唐王李世民的知遇之恩，所以当唐王李世民问谁肯上西天拜佛取经时，唐立马挺身而出，在佛前发誓：不到西天誓不罢休，然后毫不犹豫地踏上西去取经之路。孙悟空大闹天宫被如来关压在五行山下，500年后唐僧爬上五行山救出了孙悟空，孙悟空十分感恩，后来就死心塌地地追随唐僧西天取经，即使唐僧多次赶他走，即使面前是刀山海，他对唐僧都不离不弃，帮助唐僧转危为安……正是感恩才完成了取经之路，当然书中也有忘恩遭到惩罚的例子：取经途中老龟驼着唐僧四徒带人带马通过无法越过的通天何时仅仅希望唐僧他们帮问如来一下年寿之事，但唐僧师徒一心取经，不知感恩，把这事给忘了，结果回来途中再渡天何时，老龟知道后发火将经书扔到河了里……这就是忘恩负义受到的惩罚。

今天的我从《西游记》中深受启发，孙悟空，猪八戒，沙和尚甚至白龙马他们都能学会感恩，可是回头想想我们自己，我们都被父母宠惯了，缺乏一种感恩之，好像爸爸妈妈给我们的付出都是理所应当的，读了这本书让我知道的如何感恩，对父母的感恩，对老师的感恩，的关心我的亲人感恩，对帮助过我的同学抱有感恩之心，所以我决定从自已做起，从身边的小事做起，主动关心别人，帮助别人。相信我们一定会有一个美好、成功的未来!让我们心存感恩，快乐成长!
