闲暇之余，我终于读完了这本教育专着——《为了自由呼吸的教育》，由此我认识了李希贵老师，了解了一名农村中学教师，成长为全国知名教育家的传奇人生。前苏联作家高尔基说过：凡是我所有的好东西，都要归功于书。我国也自古就有“读书改变命运”的说法，李希贵老师的人生历程或许能作为这些话的映证。他在文中写道：像多数文学爱好者一样，我搜寻着所有可以找到的名的，急切地、贪婪地阅读，我恍若置身另一个世界，时而犹豫，时而彷徨，时而沉思，时而激昂…这种高度痴迷、全身心投入的大容量阅读，为我的精神世界储蓄了一笔丰厚的财富，随着岁月的流逝，年龄的增长，这笔财富不断生息、增值，实实在在地滋养着我的心灵，影响着我的价值取向，为我的生命打上了浓厚的底色。毫无疑问，在此后的人生道路上，我将幸福地享用这笔财富的‘利息’。他说：我真正的学习是从读书开始的，我真正的教育人生也是从读书开始的。读书使我顿悟了教育，教育，使我顿悟了人生。教育是与读书连在一起的，书是最重要的教育资源。

健全人格、高尚道德情操的养成，民族素质的提高，乃至学习型社会的构建，都离不开书。一个人在他相应的年龄阶段，如果没有读过适合他的书，那将是终生无法弥补的缺憾。李老师之所以能从教师---校长---局长---教育家一路走过来，跟他通过读书进行的大量的阅读积累及对这种阅读积累进行的思考和利用是分不开的。他走到哪里，就把读书的种子播撒到哪里。他以自身和专家、大师的成长经历，告诉每一个孩子和每一位家长：播种行为，收获习惯;播种习惯，收获性格;播种性格，收获命运。

在终身学习、建设学习型社会的今天，作为一名教师必须坚持学习。今天倡导教师多读书活动，其实更多的是要求教师要处在真正的读书状态。做一个善于读书，知识渊博，视野广阔的读书人，而不是只在原有知识水平上，作低质量的重复。当今这个正在发生巨大的、深刻变化的时代，新学科、新知识迎面而来，只有学习，才能丰富自己，才不会落后，不会被时代淘汰，新的教育环境，刻不容缓的教育改革，逼人的教育形式---我们没有时间再去重复，去等待，去观望。

人生是一条奔腾不息的河流，它不会停留在一个地方，也不会停止在某一阶段，它需要不断超越，但不是超越所有的人，而是要超越自己，超越自己的过去。

i like english very much. i’m very happy every day. my favourite food is cake ,because it’s sweet. my favourite fruit are apples. they are tasty and healthy. an apple a day keeps doctor way. my favourite day is fridays, because we have english on the fridays.

on the saturdays and sundays i often do housework，i’m helpful. i can wash the clothes, water the flowers, make the bed. i can’t do the dishes, but i’d like to try. do you like me?

前不久，我买回来几只小鸡。

它们圆溜溜的、毛茸茸的，像一个个金黄色的小绒球，可爱极了。我小心的抓起一只放在手掌上看，发现小鸡的两只小眼睛又黑又亮，如同黑宝石一般；鹅黄色的嘴角鼓在外面，硬硬的。突然，它嘬了一下我的手掌心，可真痒！它两只小爪子嫩黄嫩黄的，后面还有个突出的小肉垫，真有趣。

小鸡非常活泼，它们有时聚在一起，像是在开什么家庭会议，有时又互相追逐，“叽、叽、叽”的叫个不停，那调皮劲不亚于我们班的一些同学。

小鸡吃食也是很有趣的，我抓起一把用水浸泡过的大米撒在它们的小碗里，它们老远见了，张开两只小翅膀就飞快的跑过来，有的脚一拌，打个滚又站起来，继续往这边赶，然后大家就一起挤在碗边，头一伸一伸的，争先恐后的嘬着米粒。有的小鸡还没挤进去，嘴里“叽、叽”的喊个不停，大概是在求助吧！也可能在说：“别吃完了，留点给我！”

妈妈平常让它们住在一个大纸箱里，不让它们随便出来。一天，妈妈恰好不在，我心想：小鸡在箱子里挤着怎么能快活呢，还是让它们出来活动活动吧！于是我把小鸡一只一只的放出来，轻轻地放在地上。这群小鸡一出来，乐坏了，一会儿嘬嘬地面，一会儿张开小翅膀扇几下。我心里正得意，也觉得为小鸡做了一件大好事。但很快我就明白妈妈为什么不让它们随便出来的原因，因为它们随地大小便，太不讲卫生了，我赶紧行动，想把它们抓回箱子，可不容易，我费了好一番工夫，终于大功告成了。

有了这样这样可爱的小鸡，我的生活变得更加有趣了，我喜欢这群小鸡。

I always think there is not enough time. For example, I have just taken a three-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it’s only one day. There goes a proverb, “Time is money”. Now I want to say, time is more precious than money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However, when time is gone or lost, never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think, I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting time is equal to wasting one’s life. Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow!
