我的数学一向不好，成绩永远在80分上下晃悠，无论怎样努力，成绩都无太大变化，我有点心灰意冷，觉得自己不是学数学的料，就想放弃。看见我不思进取、破罐子破摔的行为，妈妈鼓励我：“加油，你能行！”但背后却也无奈。我会经常在纸上乱画，捶打桌面来发泄，就在我欲哭无泪时，一本《再试一次》挽救了我。

那是一本极不起眼的书，淡蓝的封面上只有一株兰花，里面讲的是一位大学生毕业后，在商海中摸爬滚打，最后成为百万富翁的故事。情节并不新颖，还有些俗套，但里面有一句话令我印象很深：当你失败时，千万不要放松，如果此时放松，就失去成功的信念，那之前的努力就白费了。失败只是对你的考验，多一次失败，你就离成功近了一步，再试一次，或许你就成功了。难道我离打破数学“80”分的魔咒越来越近了？于是，我坚持了下来。

这是一句让我难忘的话，每当我失败沮丧时，就会想起这句话，也就会振作精神再试一次，终于我的数学成绩有了突飞猛进的变化，我笑了，妈妈笑了，我觉得那本书也笑了。

再美的彩虹也会消失，再夺目的花朵也会凋零，只有读书的收获会成为永恒的美丽。我将它们珍藏起来，使我受益终身。
